WOW - where do I start? I've been waiting to give Lisa my review until I could post my wedding…read morephotos too, but believe me -- I have not stopped thinking about what magic she created for my wedding day! Let me say first that I was such a scrappy DIY bride, so I was really looking for a day-of coordinator I could trust. I did many calls with other coordinators and I was looking out for folx who really pressure you to have a cookie cutter wedding and play into the wedding industry. Lisa was not like that at all, she felt like one of my friends and was totally on board with working with the blank canvas of my venue. She was so easy to work with and made me feel really confident the day-of. She was hands down the best money spent from all my vendors at my wedding. Examples of Lisa's magic: - She was a serious partner in crime! I come from a background of event planning myself, so I recognized that I was a bit of a hyper detailed and logistically obsessed bride. I literally had made my production schedule before I had even met with her! This type of thing would normally irritate the hell out of an event coordinator, but honestly Lisa just felt like someone who was my partner. She saw what I had created and helped me build off of what I got started and she just made me feel like I wasn't in it alone anymore. - She would go above and beyond! We had a mix-up with our cocktail hour where our caterer came in and left some of the food on the side where it wasn't easily found. Lisa and her assistant jumped in immediately once she saw the need. She straight up started serving our hor d'orves to all of our guests so that the food we spent good money on wouldn't be hidden in the corner. - She handled extra coordination with ease! We had a mariachi parade and a shuttle coming in and out of our venue. She was able to coordinate all of this seamlessly with her assistant. I was worried about the coordination of our shuttle in particular- and without a single worry my guests were coming in and speaking so highly of the amazing coordination of the entire day. These are just a few examples of how amazing Lisa is. So do yourself a favor and give her a call for your special day. Thank you so much Lisa for all the ways you helped make my wedding the best weekend of my life.

This wedding was delayed and changed several times due to the lingering effects of COVID, and with each audible called, Lisa was not only able to adapt, but to flow with the change, keeping the Bride & Groom's wishes in mind, offering calm and supportive ideas throughout the process to ensure their dream wedding came true. Lisa offered attentive communication to her clients and the guests of a wedding, while utilizing a kind but firm approach to vendors, suppliers, and other associates in order to create the most beautiful moments to be cherished by the wedding party and the guests. The day of the wedding could not have gone more smooth. The Bride & Groom, the wedding party, the guests, were all cared for and treated with respect and courtesy. There was never any worry, about anything because "We got Lisa!" The day of ceremony breakfast, the pre wedding details of prep, guest management, and support for anything requested by/for the Bride & Groom, the ceremony, the dinner after, and the night time celebration could not have been more beautiful, serene, or better executed. Lisa also found ways to take initiative and offer thoughtful gifts or words to those in the wedding party. The last piece I need to share, is Lisa treated everyone with kindness and respect. The staff at the venue was eager and willing to help with any items requested, the servers at various restaurants could not have offered any better service.. Lisa has an incredible gift to love others up, which they in turn pass along to those they serve. Lisa is organized, more then capable, professional, an attentive listener, and will become family after working with her on YOUR wedding or event. Lisa - you are an amazing and rare person, with an incredible heart. Thank you for doing what you do, being who you are, and creating the unforgettable memories for so many others.

We were so happy with everything from beginning to end. Our wedding venue only provided the space, so we needed to hire all of our vendors. Diva was one of the first we booked, over a year in advance. Even though she was technically our "month of" coordinator, she was very thorough in the year and months leading up to our event. She checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed and were staying on track, which I did not expect but loved. We had trouble sourcing a few vendors, and she was able to help us out with some suggestions. We ended up hiring 3 of her vendors and they were all great! Since our venue didn't have a waitstaff and our caterer served buffet style, we opted to hire some of her staff members to set up and break down the space, dismiss tables for dinner, fill water and champagne toasting glasses, light candles, set the tables etc. I had a very specific vision of what I wanted the space to look like, and they totally nailed it! My husband and I were stunned and overjoyed when we entered our reception space, they had just done such a great job! Diva created a schedule of events for the day and stayed on schedule for the whole night. As with any event, small hiccups beyond our control arose here and there, and as soon as we notified Diva, she was on it. We were married by a friend who had never performed a ceremony before, so we needed some help running our rehearsal. We hired Diva to do this and she did such a great job. She efficiently led the rehearsal and made sure everyone knew their places and roles. All in all we cannot say enough about Diva and her crew! We put a lot of responsibility on her and she totally shined. If your venue provides the space and nothing else and you need some help, Diva is the person to call. We are so glad we took advantage of her additional services as she really saved our sanity and made the process fun.

I was caught up in the learning of my new job that I had to trust my fiance to work out the details with our wedding planner, Diva. She began taking care of the details, always attentive to message me as things came up and took care of the caterer, flower arrangements, set up of the cake, music, and seating of our guests. Even when I had to call her to add last minute people, Diva reassured me and kept me cool and calm. I really enjoyed my day, knowing that the capable hands of "As you wish" had things moving smoothly. My focus was on my amazing groom who is sweet and supportive. I enjoyed my wedding day.

We just had our wedding Friday, June 13th and I am so glad we found Miller's Landing…read more We booked in April of last year and after touring a couple venues and wanting the Forest/mountain vibes--this was a no brainer. Family owned--Kellan, Terri, and everyone in the staff were so unbelievably transparent, friendly, helpful, and amazing to work with. The communication is on point and everything was seamless since their packages include basically everything! Even the small amount of things not included in package pricing, they gave recommendations that were great! The property is so beautiful and so well maintained even when we toured it when it was raining and sleet coming down! The ceremony site is a dream, which flows right into the cocktail area, and then reception/dinner in the beautiful, rustic barn and everything flows perfectly. It's small enough to where people don't wander off and disappear or get too separated, but big enough to provide spaces and pockets for people to hang out in. Fox in the Woods Catering was absolutely delicious and the venue tasting was great--we had such a hard time deciding what to choose because it was all so good. The bridal suite did get a little warm on our 80 degree wedding day, but they have portable air conditioners that helped. We loved the table and mirrors so my bridesmaids not getting hair and makeup done could do their own there. The groom suite is a great spot for the guys and every space is so well put together and comfortable. Our day of coordinator included with the venue, Ashly, was amazing in creating our day of timeline, setting up decor and making sure our vision came to life. Family owned and operated was the way to go. We felt so special and didn't have a single thing to worry about and we had the most perfect wedding day. We are on cloud nine and highly recommend anyone wanting a seamless wedding and less stress of planning, please book here. You will not regret it!

Communication with Kellan was excellent throughout the process, and John and Terri were also wonderful to work with--always kind, attentive, and helpful. We also loved the venue's recommended vendors, who all helped make our day so special. The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because the end of the evening felt much more stressful than expected. After celebrating all day, we had to help pack, load, and remove all of our personal décor that same night. We had understood the décor would be packed and ready for us to load, but instead several of our family members and guests ended up helping pack everything before we could leave. Unfortunately, some of our personal décor items were also damaged during the packing process, which was disappointing since many of them were sentimental. One suggestion I have for future weddings would be to allow couples to pick up their packed décor early the following morning. On the morning of our wedding, there was already a venue tour and another couple's rehearsal taking place, and the staff handled both so seamlessly that we barely noticed. Since the venue is already in use the next morning, offering a short pickup window for the previous night's couple could make the end of the wedding day much less stressful without disrupting operations. Overall, none of this takes away from how beautiful our wedding day was or how much we appreciated the Miller's Landing team. We are incredibly thankful for everything they did to help make our day so memorable and would absolutely recommend the venue to couples looking for a stunning place to get married.
