Would give 3.4 stars. Good hotel, old but clean. Good food. Mostly good service. By the beach. This is Portugal so remember there might be some challenges. But they can most be resolved. read more

Reminds me of a Russian tower block, complete with angry staff, set to a bleak backdrop. The rooms are basic and boxy, the food is barely edible, the staff are unhelpful and visibly miserable to be working here. The venue unimpressive in every single way - from a functionality standpoint to what someone undoubtedly once thought qualified as 'interior design.' On top of that, someone just walked into my room and quietly walked out. No idea who as they didn't announce their presence and my lock doesn't work so I wasn't able to lock it. How can hotels like this still exist? :-/ read more
