For clarification, Ayala's father and my father have been friends and have supported each other's businesses for almost 20 years. Naturally, when my dilemma began, my father recommended me to Ayala's firm. Loyalty to the family and supporting family business is at the forefront of good business. At first, it appeared to be a solid institution; however, beware. If you have a family law case that may be a little complicated, do not use Ayala's firm, especially if the opposing party gets an attorney that only practices in family law. This firm may be good in criminal law, but family law is completely different. Each time my retainer was up for re-balancing, I was notified, with the exception of the last. The firm failed to communicate and let a bill of 6k build up. He substituted out a few days before an important court hearing because I couldn't afford the retainer. Needless to say, I lost more custody of my children. On top of the bill being built up, it was almost 6 months that my case was left untouched until I reached out around January of 2023. Apparently, there was a division in his firm, and the attorney who was helping out Ayala had started her own firm. So, I was being bounced around. I lost most of the custody of my kids not because of any legal misconduct on my end but because I had to represent myself. When I attempted to pay him, I was informed it wouldn't be worth it for his firm to take the case because they were not taking on more clients due to being swamped. A few days before he substituted out, he was still willing to represent me if I gave him another 3k. I stated I was already a client with him and if he could work with me. He said, "It's going to be costly to continue and I wish you the best of luck!" I'm still attempting to fight for my kids and continuing to deal with my divorce legal battle. read more

10/16/20017 I cannot express the gratitude and support I received from Christopher at Ayala Law Group. He was extremely professional throughout the process of my case. I have a minor record so I needed to hire his expertise to represent me in a Citizenship application and the process that goes along with it. He personally trained and prepared me for the upcoming interview. Like anyone else I felt nervous, but Christopher eased me up to the application questions by practicing over and over so I could become familiarized with the material. Since the questions may become tricky- we practiced until I understood. The day of the interview he was there before time, he handed in my letter of appointment to the front desk, and even had copies of what was requested from the USCIS officer. I was in awe. If I could give this place no stars I would!!! Do not hire them. You talk to one lawyer and they send you with another one. On top of that they charge you for every voicemail they leave you. Calls are understandable but voicemails, come on! They state in their written contracts that they will send you a balance of the work they did for their monthly service and never send it out. You basically have to threaten them that you are not going to sign paper work that should have been signed in the beginning when they decided to change your lawyers, so that they can give you a statement of what they are charging you for. The female lawyer they have is messy. She does not brush her hair and shows up to court like she just rolled out of bed. STAY AWAY!!! All the reviews on here are from the lawyer's friends. Will be filling with the Better Business Bureau on their horrible services. And after all is said and done they make you sign a paper saying you will never hire them again. Who in their right mind would hire them again? Research before you hire a lawyer and make sure you are picking someone who is going to keep to their written contracts. read more
