I checked out the firm's website and saw that I could schedule online, that was super-convenient. Same-day appointments were available. It was $95 for 10 minutes, and I expected to hear on the call that my case was too complex for just ten minutes and I'd need to reschedule for an hour, or worse, pay for a few hours of research at $XXX/hr. Instead, Mr. Klasing was familiar with the situation, said I had three options, and explained the pros and cons of each one, concurring with AI that my idea was illegal and I should pick one of the other two. Getting an expert resolution, the same day, and for only $95, is a bargain and a relief. Note, the firm offers this service for only an *initial* consultation; you can't keep paying $95 for additional 10-minute consults.

I have worked with many attorneys over the years. I have never met an attorney who is as knowledgeable in startup law, tax law, business law, and employment law. I met Mr. Shirazi when my previous attorney was retiring and he interviewed a myriad of attorneys and recommended him as his replacement. I was skeptical b/c he looked young and ignored his counsel and went with an older attorney. Long story short, Mr. Shirazi was right. After that, as a business owner, Mr. Shirazi has been my 1 stop shop for business counsel. I have worked with Mr. Shirazi for many years now and have refrained from providing a review to take advantage of his services before either the quality of service goes down due to delegation of work or heavy workload. Well, today, Mr. Shirazi won my last case against the EDD. Before this he used his aggressive tactics to have an IRS Collection Agent terminated after all my other attorneys rolled over. Mr. Shirazi does not take no as an answer and appealed my case all the way to the top of the IRS hierarchy. He has also won my independent contractor misclassification case with the IRS, EEOC, and EDD and employee discrimination case against the EEOC and DFEH. In 2016 I was in a world of tax turmoil. Not sleeping, constantly worried, when would the lien might occur or when was the garnishment hammer was going to drop. Then it happened. I don't know what you would do when a IRS Agent knocks at your door, but for me it was polarizing. I didn't have a clue what to do. Luckily, I wasn't home. The agent did have the courtesy to call me while she was standing at front door and sarcastically asked me for a check. What a jerky thing to do. I was given Omid's number from a friend and my life was changed. Omid put my wife and I at ease and assured us that things would get handled. He and his team did just that. The IRS wanted me to pay 250,000 dollars and they had no reservations about trying to get it. Like I said, I was polarized and I surely didn't have a quarter-million dollars and an agent had already been to my house without hesitation. Well, fast forward to 2017- a year later to be exact. With the help and professionalism of Omid and his tax colleague Tyler I was freed! I didn't have to pay a thing. That's right they resolved my IRS tax issue and even though they wanted 250k, Omid stopped the Feds from seeking to get anything from me or my wife. I was stressed dealing with an employment and tax law issue with the IRS and EDD. As a business owner, I have hired and dealt with countless attorneys. I have learned that other attorneys, typically, know who the best attorneys are. When an attorney and friend of the family recommended Mr Shirazi, I gave him a call. Mr Shirazi was very knowledgeable about the relevant law as most attorneys are. Which is expected when you work for big firms and at the IRS chief councils office as he had. However, what set Mr Shirazi apart was that he took the time to listen to every nuance of my discussion and he went through boxes of files. Here I am! Everyone happy?) 7) Then I told them I had a new accountant, and they sent me an offboarding checklist that literally includes the line: "Future Support: Take Note of Whom to Contact If Assistance is Needed: [CRS Accountant Name] [Insert Email Address Here]." In other words, I have no idea to to contact or how to reach them. ...This is completely in line with the communication I received throughout my time there, and a perfect capstone to my experience. I think they are probably competent at being accountants, but they fall short as genuine, communicative, actual human beings. Unfortunately. I am much happier with my new accountant.
