I'm so glad this place exists! Locally sourced milk and yogurt comes together in a glorious mix to create Ayelada froyo. Their favors rotate, and they only have 3 or 4 at a time, but honestly I think the choice is actually easier with fewer options...psychologically speaking. They have pints for $5, which I think is an awesome deal. My coconut with chocolate chips, cinnamon, and honey was sublime, and I sampled the original yogurt and was a big fan of that too. Their flavors are unusual and delicious and the staff are more than friendly. This is the best frozen yogurt I've ever had. Good lord this place is delicious! Big star for amazing dairy free options! Recently traveled to Turks and Caicos and obsessed with Turkberry, their version of Pinkberry which we were familiar with in CA. Quality is comparable if not better! My only gripe is it's hit or miss how much you are actually served depending on who is working, and there have been a few instances when the yogurt was served in a skinny tower leaving so much empty space there was no way the volume was consistent with the oz expected. It would be helpful if servings were more consistent or weighed so you're not forced to order a large just to get the equivalent of a medium or small. Alternatively can order a pint to ensure it's packed. read more

It's good. I had the original with a whole tons of toppings. The yogurt tasted fresh and not like chemicals like most places. It's not self serve which is kinda strange even the toppings so you kinda stuck with how much they give you instead of how much you want...so I had way too many strawberries and not enough coconut on mine. read more

This is the best frozen yogurt in the world. I realize that doesn't sound like much, but I would pick Ayelada over ice cream any day. I am lactose intolerant, and the dairy-free options here are just as good (if not better) than any of the other flavors. I usually get a small with 3+ toppings and it is the perfect size (somewhere between a big snack and a small meal). Comes to somewhere around $6, which as a college student I am happy to spend on the best dessert that can also be a meal substitute. I really appreciate that the staff serves it for you and gives you generous amounts of toppings, compared to self-service frozen yogurt places that purposefully overcharge you. I make the 35 minute drive at least once a month and it always brightens my whole week. THANK YOU!!! read more

I'm a fan of local cows and totally applaud local sourcing, but just know that this is a frozen yogurt spot (no ice cream). The yogurt has that tanginess of healthy, real yogurt. Tastebud-wise, it's not my thing, but if you're a froyo fan, this seems like a good stop. read more

Ayelada is sublime. The atmosphere is modern and kept very clean: the staff is constantly making sure that the shop is clean and presentable. The place is designed and decorated brilliantly, from the beautiful dining area all the way to the pristine bathrooms. Additionally, there is no trouble finding a table to sit at, as the seating area is very large, in which music is played at a reasonable volume. Now for the important part. Their frozen yogurt is hands-down the best desert i've ever had in my life--i'm addicted to the stuff! They serve original and two other flavors that they change routinely. Also, they have a wide variety of toppings that they generously apply. Essentially, this is a very well-run frozen yogurt shop in which the excellent, atmosphere, service, and food complement each other. I definitely recommend a visit! read more

This frozen yogurt is nothing short of amazing! I sit there and eat it (I get the to go quarts) and the Nutella was the best balanced flavored treat I've ever had! Just had the pear this weak which was an Interesting choice, if I was in a grocery store I would probably never try it, but I'm so glad I did, mild, rich and just delicious. If I could ask for one thing g it would be nutritional facts and ingredients, I know that's hard for the small batches but maybe for the to go ones. Amazingly yummy product that is made from local dairy farms and very fresh toppings. The shop is always clean. If someone in your party has a nut allergy, this is the place to go!!!! After my son informed our server of his allergy, the manager stepped in and said "I will get this ". She then asked him what he wanted, walked over to the sink,washed her hands well and went in the back- into a separate area away from toppings- to make his order !
