They offer a variety of baked goods (in the glass counter), build your own or signature breakfast & lunch sandwiches, daily soups & chowders, salads, chips, coffee, tea, and cooler drinks. They use Boar's Head meats and cheeses and they offer daily specials and catering. While I was at Norad Mill, I stopped in at The Norad Café for a light breakfast. The place was quite busy being a Saturday morning and plenty of activity at the dance studio. I ordered an Egg In A Hole BLT and a Red Velvet Donut, which came out $8 and change. The sandwich was all set in about 10 minutes after ordering. The sandwich was pretty unique (cut in half) which literally had a grilled round egg embedded in a cut hole on top of the sandwich bread (toasted rye bread) with plenty of greasy bacon strips, romaine lettuce, tomatoes, Swiss cheese (my choice), and lots of mayo. This sandwich was a bit messy to eat, but it was very darn good. The red velvet glazed donut was a good sweet treat to go along with my breakfast sandwich and my black coffee (I went to Panera earlier). I would definitely return to this little café for lunch next time I'm back in the mill.

We did get there slightly before 5pm which allowed us a quieter atmosphere for the first part of our meal. We ordered the mushroom and fennel sausage flat bread for an appetizer. It was amazingly flavorful and had super fresh mozzarella. We also both had a cup of the cold pea soup. It was thick and creamy and had a beautiful presentation. For our main meal, my husband ordered the salmon. He said that everything was cooked perfectly and it was quite flavorful. I had the public burger and truffle fries. The burger was juicy and huge! The fries were nicely seasoned. The service was great, as well. Our waitress was attentive and the manager came by and spoke with us, as well. Don't miss this place if you're looking for a delicious meal!

This spot is popular and was relatively full even for an early dinner at around 5. My fiancé and I had the Brie burgers. Loved the concept but note that it seems more of a Brie spread than actual slices of Brie. Still tasty though. I didn't love that the bun was a tad cold. The Parmesan truffle fries are on point! So amazing! Portions for the burger and side of fries are generous. The spanakopita app was tasty but a bit salty. Service was okay. I'd totally return here if in the area again but, IMO, it didn't quite live up to the hype of earlier reviews. The food's definitely solid but not at the level I'd make a special trip here. There are two gender neutral restrooms, which were well appointed but the floor was a bit slippery due to folks tracking in snow in the winter. They may want to consider extending some mats to the restrooms. I was worried about my Mom, who is a senior with some mobility issues, slipping on the floors near the bathrooms.

It was our first and only time there, so I'm banking on that they were a little off their game. So it took about 20 minutes for us to get water, or a waitress. Then it took what felt like 3 minutes to get our apps and/or entrees, which came about 2 minutes apart. Big portions, so we didn't get dessert. But I will say that the food was excellent. They have mocktails too. There was no one there when we left, so it because less stressful. I'd go again.

The first time I came here, I actually did not eat or drink anything. That's because as I perused through the menu, the restaurant lost power from a thunderstorm. So they basically could not serve food for an unknown period of time. I thanked them for being informative and kind and moved on to a different spot for the evening meal. I decided to return a second time. The wings (Buffalo and garlic parmesan) were well-fried and flavorful. The risotto had too much balsamic vinegar on top, and the rice tasted a little sweet (think rice pudding). Both were turnoffs for me, and felt fortunate that it wasn't my order. The buffalo mac n' cheese was quite good, with a large portion that made it satisfying. Service was friendly and kind throughout and the decor was okay, though a little dark inside (even when they had electricity). This is a decent choice for food and it is on a main road.
