My procedure was done 10 years ago with pain medication through a syringe, but I felt pain throughout the procedure (which is done in an office, not a hospital). Afterwards, I was dismissed within an hour afterwards without an escort. I should've cut my losses ($1,000 of my payment) and left after I heard the women before me screaming. I got my treatment on 12/21 and I got the results I was told prior to the procedure . All the negative reviews are only for the customer service and the delay which is fine Bc he's a busy doctor!!! Scheduling my surgery wit Dr. Shahine is most traumatic experience of my life!! My statement and testimony is long, but I want to inform consumers of my experience so that can understand the type of doctor they are considering to work with and make an educated decision about who they choose to work on their most valuable possession, YOUR BODY. I reported Dr. Shahine the NY Medical Board, The Better Business Board and to several news sources including papers and television. I've never dealt with a professional, especially a doctor who was this unprofessional and unethical.  I was given different prices from the NJ and NYC office. The difference of $16k for the same procedure! The staff was rude, unprofessional, they seem to be just "winging it*. They had no systems or structures in place. They made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. They were hostile, defensive and not therapeutic at all, considering your getting a beauty enhancement surgery. This office is very rude, greedy and heartless. I waited in the waiting room from 8pm-5am!  There was no one around and they just leave you waiting with no clue of what is going on.  This office is very shady, disorganized and provided you no preparation prior to your surgery. They just tell you they will call you the day of and tell you when to come in. I had to call their office repeatedly and finally was told to come in at 8. No water so bring your own. SMDH. You will be waiting all night. I never met the doctor until right before my surgery. At 5am, I was woken up in the waiting room to meet the doctor for the first time.  He was very abrasive, rigid and unfriendly.  He did not make me feel comfortable, as I was already uncomfortable from the negativity and bad vibes I got from his staff.  The doctor gave me 3 unidentified pills and told me to empty my bladder in the bathroom.  When I returned from the bathroom, he told me he was too tired to perform my surgery and asked me to come back on Monday morning! Wow.  I was appalled.  The doctor told me to take his number and he will call me at 12pm-2pm because that's usually the time he gets up.  I was upset after everything I endured that night, but as a patient I was vulnerable and wasn't given any choices. The doctor runs the show so I couldn't change anything. I felt helpless. I called my transportation from NJ to come and get me and started crying on the phone out of the traumatic emotions.  The doctor then told me this exactly, "stop crying. I don't like that emotional stuff.  Fine, I'll do your surgery now quickly but it wont be quality."  WTF?  After all the money, sacrifice and coordination he tells me he won't give me quality? I told him in a cracked voice after crying and staying up all night that I'll just come back on Monday.  Well, 15 minutes later as I'm waiting in the waiting room, the medical assistant told me that I had to go because she had to go pick up her kids.  She told me that 2 blocks away the doctor told her I should go wait at a McDonald's or Dunkin Donuts!  They kicked me out their building at 5:30am, in 30-degree weather in the middle of Manhattan with $6000 cash on me.  He cancelled my appointment after I waited all night for my surgery and didn't even let me wait for my ride!!!!!  The pills he gave me made me feel nauseous. I threw up really aggressively outside and it was miserable waiting in the cold after not sleeping all night. I asked the doctor several days later about the meds and why they made me nauseous. He said that's what antibiotics do on an empty stomach. And that his office can't inform me abut everything prior to a surgery. SMDH. Of course I would have an empty stomach after waiting from 8pm-5am to have a surgery that he cancelled. But then to say that his office can't prep me prior to the surgery?? Hi, Dr. Shahine is more of a night doctor, which can be a good point situation for those that want to work their day job and then do surgery in the evening. I needed by breast redone because a breast biopsy (that turned out to be not precancer :)) that left one of breast in a capsular contraction and disproportioned with the other breast. Dr. Shahine replaced both implants and made both of my breast look symmetrical and full. He is a doctor that really tries to work with his patients and I have personally seen other clients transformed, especially those with with the fat transfers. Dr. Shaheen was my OBGYN in Brooklyn during the pregnancy of my first child. He was a seemingly nice man in conversation (once you were able to be seen). His practice was always severely and disturbingly overbooked. His staff was stressed out trying to manage the layers and layers of overbooked patients who were made up of mostly newly migrated, Arabic speaking women. I had a bad feeling about this Dr. and tried to switch Dr's late in my pregnancy to a female Dr. who was handling his patients for a couple of days when he was not in town, but she told me that ethically, she could not "STEAL" one of her friends patients. I was young, inexperienced and second guessed my intuition, thought it would be strange to change Dr's this late in the game so I stayed on (since my delivery was nearing). The evening of my labor, this man was not available when I went into labor and as a matter of fact, never showed up to the hospital until the next morning. By that time, I had been in labor for a long time. My husband was very upset that the man took his time to come to the hospital and gave him a piece of his mind. A series of events took place afterwards and looking back, I think the Dr. might've gotten back at my concerned husband for yelling at him by making reckless mistakes afterwards. Long story short, the delivery was nearly catastrophic. Mr. Shaheen, cut my baby's face during delivery, injured his eye (permanently) as well as injured me during the delivery though I wasn't aware that the injuries were not recoverable until our son began to go to school. I left the hospital the next morning without having our son circumcised. I went to the Dr.'s office to have the circumcision. It was a weekend morning. The practice was closed but the Dr. met me there. He met me at the door, took the baby and closed the door behind him, locking it. I was left outside at the front door of the practice in the cold. The Dr. told me that he could not allow me in because the circumcision makes mothers nervous. He didn't want to make a mistake with the procedure if i came rushing in when I heard my child cry during the small procedure. I was panicking outside. Desperately banging on the door, screaming to give me my baby back. Finally, he came back and handed me my child. My child seemed to be okay but would later have to have the procedure redone when he was a toddler. Overall, this is the most bizarre and frightening experiences that I have ever had with a "health care provider". I have thought about this experience many times over the past 15 years and each time, I wished that I had made better choices. My warning to you is never to go to this man. I highly doubt he has even gone to medical school. I feel strongly that it's my opinion, he could possibly be an impostor in his field. My opinion is please, please, BEWARE. read more

Let me first start with, I DID NOT go through with the procedure with Dr. Shahine. I just need to explain why. First visit: I arrived for my consult at 6pm. The office was PACKED with women who were in jogging pants, walking around in socks, hair nets, etc. It was as if they had slept there all night. The receptionists in front, forgive me, but in such an environment should be more professional. They spoke to me and other patients as if were we friends from school, childish. After waiting what seemed like an eternity one of the receptionist pulls me into an office where she, yes she, a girl with no medical license, proceeded to evaluate me. After she was done telling me what I needed done, not asking what I wanted done, she gave me a price quote. She proceeded to say "if you want to do your arms, well only charge you another $2,000" I never mentioned having my arms done. I left the office without ever meeting the doctor himself. Second visit: I decided to go back to see if maybe my first time around was just super busy. When I called they told me yes I would be able to meet with the doctor. So again, at 6pm I headed over. I walked in and found some more woman piled all together in this small waiting area. After about an hour Dr. Shahine finally met me. He gave me his advice, told me I would look beautiful and showed me a pic of someone who had the same frame as I did and what she ultimately looked like. After meeting with him and being desperate for that perfect body, I left my deposit and scheduled my procedure which was a month away. I was given all the procedures to prep for the surgery which seemed a bit weird especially the part where it said to place maxi pads, yes maxi pads on the incision sites to stop the drainage after surgery. Again, outta desperation I paid no mind to this. I was sold on that pic he showed me. Blood work: I was instructed to come in a week prior to my surgery to have blood work taken so I did just that. I went first thing in the morning. 9am to be exact and when I walked in, the lights were off and about 12 woman were sleeping. Clearly they had been there all night. This is where my hesitation started to kick in. The receptionist finally arrived but told me the nurse wasnt available until Wednesday which was two days away. Angrily I left but told her I would return then. Back on Wednesday: went on my lunch break to get the blood work done. Again, walked into a room JAM PACKED, this time worse than ever. I was told by the receptionist that the nurse was busy but would be about 15 minutes. So while I sat there waiting the stories I heard in the waiting area were insane. Some of these girls had actually been there for two days around the clock waiting for their turn. Some were hostile and angry and one girl was even told to leave. That she would be called when the doctor was ready to see her which could even be at 2am. 2am???? After 45 minutes I told the girl at the desk I had to leave because my time was over. She goes to inquire only to tell me sorry the nurse doesnt have time right now can you come back later. At this point, I had had enough. I decided at that moment this place wasnt a safe medical facility. Upon leaving I encountered a woman outside. She has done her procedure with Dr. Shahine but had returned because she had fluid pockets in her stomach. She proceeded to tell me how excruciating painful her procedure was and that it was NOTHING like the videos he posts on youtube. She also made another good point. If you notice his before and after pics, the afters are always taken on the surgical bed right after surgery. Because of the swelling of course your stomach to ass ratio is going to look great. I never really thought of that before. Research:Now I probably should have done my research prior to meeting and scheduling my appt but I was new to this so it didnt dawn on me. However, after my last visit I decided to look him up. He is NOT, I repeat, NOT certified with the American Board of Plastic surgery. If you dont believe me look it up. He may have attended seminars and conferences but that's about it. He is a former OB/GYN now plastic surgeon. While that transition is fine, its questionable as to why he doesnt become certified. Upon further research i found that those woman appearing in his youtube clips were either paid or had services provided for free. Final statement: Dr. Shahine may do good work but his practice is run inappropriate for a medical facility. Dont believe me, go for a consult and see for yourself. I cancelled my procedure the day after my last visit. One last final statement: To show you how poorly his office is run for two weeks after I cancelled my procedure I kept receiving calls to reschedule. They never had me cancelled and whats scarier is they were going to perform this w/o getting medical clearance about me like my blood work. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. I had a consultation with Auda in April 2014(he doesn't do the consults). I noticed several women in the small waiting area. This office is very unorganized, phones ringing, staff walking back and forth. I could not tell staff from the patients. The girls that work there wear street clothes. I stood at the front desk for about 15 minutes before someone helped me. I was given a 1200 am appointment for consult and showed up at 1150 am. I was called in around 1 pm. I was told by Auda to pull down my pants so she could exam me. I am 5'5, 157 lbs, a good candidate for BBL. Not too much fat. She stated a quote of 8,300 for lipo to back, stomach and sides if cash payment, 9,500 for care credit. I thanked her for her time and left. I did not want to pay that much. As soon as I stepped out the door to the elevator my cell rings it is Audi. Please come back the doctor will do for lower. I go back inside Auda tries to convince me. Just then Dr. Shahine walks in. He looks at me and says "I give you beautiful curves" so I explain I do not want to pay that much. He tells me to pull down my pants and exams me. He says you don't have much fat on back I only need to do lower back you pay 7,500. I realized then it is important for the Dr to do consult because he is the one doing the surgery. I would have paid to do my whole back unnecessarily. To secure the next available date of May 27, 2014 I paid a deposit of 500. I was told to come a week before surgery for blood work and to pay the balance due. As I leave I hear a woman waiting say the bathroom is out of order they have to go to another floor. I had a bad feeling. As I do more research I see that Dr. Shahine doesn't respect the patients time. I have called several time to inquire about what raja to order and to get other information, The girls(and I do mean girls) he has answering the phones are clueless. I became very skeptical. On May 22 I go in for blood work. I see several women waiting. One woman tells me she was scheduled for surgery on Tuesday they didn't call her until Friday. She tell me the dr has been sick twice so he is really backed up.I find out the day of your surgery you wait until they call you. May 27th comes so I call to inquire I was told "oh he will call you when he is ready". May 28th no call. I call they say "oh he is a little behind he will call". May 29th no call. I call they say what is your name I tell them they say I will give him your name. It is now May 31 no one has called. I have taken 12 days off from work to do this procedure and nothing. If they knew he was behind why not let people know so they can plan accordingly. THEY DO NOT RESPECT THE PATIENTS TIME! I WANT MY MONEY BACK! My friend and I had seen ayman for a fat transfer procedure in November 2011 and let me tell you it was horrible ! It was both of our first time getting anything done, she went first and while waiting in the waiting room I could hear her crying literally the whole time ! When it was my turn it was not different I was in so much pain from the numbing process to the actually sucking of the fat that I insisted he stop the lipo process and just finish the transfer to my bottom. Afterwards we were both literally unable to walk because we were in so much pain, the excruciating pain lasted for about 4-5 days before we started to feel a change. Anyways results were nice but could've been nicer (because I told him to stop the lipo because of the pain) we both thought nothing of it and figured it was because its surgery so of course it's going to hurt.. My original appointment was May 1st, and I didnt get called in to the office until the 2nd at 3:00am. I wasnt seen until the 4 at 3:00am and honestly I wish I would of asked for my money back and left. I went through hell with his uneducated staff telling me Im next Im next. Losing my folder, and then accusing me of not paying in full but trying to keep my copies that I brought in... Whatever. I shoud of read into this as incompetents. The anxiety medicine and pain killer they give you is nothing but crap. And there wasnt enough time for the tumescent fuild to numb everything I cried the whole freaking time. My husband finally gets the doctor on the to call in my script and he prescribes me a medicine that cleaerly listed in my chart that I am allergic to, to take. And my pharmacist spends the next 2 hours trying to get back hold of the doctor and calls us and tells us the doctor isnt answering. So we had to keep calling to have his office completely get upset and then the doctor gets on the phone and goes i am busy your wasting my time and asked me what i expected of him. I said to get my medication right and that he was the worst doctor ever. He also tells me he gave his M.A. promission to lie to people telling them that she is a nurse and can give out medical advise. This prick isnt ever allowed to touch my body again. He gave no papers on who to take care the brazilian butt lift or mini tummy tuck, just the papers to take care the smart lipo. I had my procedure almost a year ago and i went in for my yearly check. Despite all I hear this dr work is still the best anywhere. I am very happy with my outcome. Dr Shahine and his staff are very friendly and professional. Dr Shahine has hands of gold. I felt no pain at all just some pressure when he was transfering the fat. He has special skills in contouring and sculpting the body and gives the best curves and the smallest waist line. He deposited the fat in my buttocks and hips. Now I look like a real sexy woman with the hour glassfigure I always wished, instead of the boyish look i had before. My skin is tight and soft. During the procedure he spoke to me and the nurse held my hand all the time. He never rushed and made sure i was comfortable during the whole procedure. I loved the music they played. Their office has variety of specialists for lasers to massages and spa services so the waiting room looked busy. I was told to stayhome and they called me 2 hours before they were ready for me. Dr. Shahine reshaped my body and made me feel beautiful again. He didn't just put a butt on me he also made sure I had hips and that it was in proportion to my body so that it looks natural. I'm so ecstatic to write this review because of my incredible results. Dr.Shahine is a remarkable doctor. I had the Brazilian buttocks lift procedure. He has over 20 years of experience and triple board certified. I really wanted to only have the best doctor do my procedure and no one else to touch me I did extensive research on almost every doctor out there and almost memorized everything about them. One doctor's work always stuck up as the most beautiful and most natural and that was Dr Shahine. I researched him fully for almost 2 years. I heard great things about him and I also saw some other negative comments here and there I decided to check for myself. Visited the doctorr office multiple times spoke to him and his staff, patients in his waiting room, people who love him and people who hate him. I concluded that he is the best and the most honest doctor out there for my situation. I also found that most of what people write and say is crazy with evil imagination and ghetto, hood thinking and ignorance is very common place in these forums. He's perfectly legal fully licensed and insured and practices within the scope of his experience and training. There are people who he did that came out perfect because they followed his post op instructions and there are people out here who did not follow after care instructions and wore tight cloths and messed up their bodies and want to blame him and the world for their stupidity I saw the Chanel 11 film and saw how beautiful that woman's body breasts and curves were and said to myself what is that foolish lady complaining about. I went to Shahine Feb. 2013, biggest mistake of my life. As with many others I was amazed by photos in the office and the work of some women from love and hip hop. I wish I trusted my instincts and just walked out. I paid $7500.00 for bbl fat transfer. I went several times to see him and each time i was told he was on his way or parking his car. I met with Marley his assistant of sorts who did my consult bc he doesnt have time for you just your money. He overbooks so I was scheduled for 8pm surgery and was seen at 1am. Also the day of my surgery the unprofessional young staff says oh you didnt pay??!! Are you fuckin kidding me?? You lost my paper work??! On top of being anxiety filled now you claim i didn't pay. I called Marley who told the girl I paid. Your vitals will not be checked and you are highly medicated with whatever the front desk puts in a cup for you. During the procedure you will be poked with what felt like over 200 needles to numb your skin. I am still scarred from the lipo where my skin literally was ripped. Yes you are awake! And yes you will feel pain!! After the procedure was done I was not informed of any post op, I never knew the liquid was supposed to be drained and moving around would help with the draining process instead of being sedentary. Shahine walked out in a bad mood and said nothing to me about follow up or how I felt. I ended up with an infection in my buttock, which I thought the pain I felt was normal and I was healing until the area became so warm and painful and ended up with a high fever. I called the office immediately and told them my situation and i was on my way they said sure he will be here. I also called him and he never answered my call. When I arrive the massage girls who were the only good thing there said omg, your skin is so hot and she called Shahine on my behalf and said please give her antibiotics, the massage girl dispensed antibiotics for me in the office bc i was in so much pain. I never felt like he cared or ever saw him for follow up bc he is too busy for you or not there. Needless to say my stitches by my butt I was told would come out on there own never did and each time i went for my massages he was never in the office to remove them i was always told he is on the way! He wasnt. My boyfriend had to cut them out for me because my skin started healing over them. At the time 2013 i went to him not many doctors were doing this procedure and he used to have an ad in the paper which sold me all the " perfect" pics. A year later I saw a channel 11 news report about his shady practices and how he washed instruments in the sink, do your research google his name. That news report came out a year after my surgery so I did not know. I hope i can save someone the headache, anxiety, wasted time, emotional trauma and scarring I experienced. I hesitated on this review bc I did not want to relive this experience, but I am doing this for the women that are considering him and to warn you not to go to this heartless butcher, I wish i knew what I know now. I have been researching BBL for months now and all i saw was Dr Shahine and his glowing results pics!!! OMG!! It made me ready to empty my bank account and hop up on his table like YESTERDAY!!! I found Dr. Ayman Shahine from off K Michelle's IG page like 2 yrs ago and i have been following him and his work since then! Despite reading and hearing all the bad reviews abt him i still decided to take a chance with him!! I went for an consult in NJ (not by the Dr.) but some lady that dont even understand or speak english.. She gave me a price for 7,500. Plus 250. For garment 225. For message and 85. For foam so all in all over 8 grand for this basic surgery!! Any way i put down 4,000 to secure my appointment date! I went for blood work....3 weeks later and I haven't heard from the office so me being ME (license practice Nurse) i called his office for my update the receptionist (none english speaking) says oh yea we got it and your good to go' 1 weeks after that i hear from the NY office to confirm my appointment then ask me did i do blood work(blank stare) huh you guys don't communicate? 1 star can't even describe how horrible this doctor is... He is SO RUDE. Mark my words about the RUDENESS. He is also so unprofessional! I found this doctor on youtube thinking he would be great because he has nice results. I was impressed and then I went to have a consolation, I got the price and was happy with it. They told me if I didn't a downpayment on it the prices would change after he did K.Michelles but. So I said ok I put the down payment on it so the price couldn't change. I have to say that Dr. Shahine is amazing in what he does. I had Lipo and fat transfer on May 23rd, 2015 and procedure wasn't painful and I was able to walk to car and go home. Dr. Shahine made sure he listened to what my problem areas were and even did more then what I paid for to ensure I get my desired results. I understand he is the only one performing procedure. But I did not wait at all. I was called to the office to get procedure done and within 15 minutes the procedure was performed. I really don't understand who would write anything negative about him or staff? I looked for a surgeon for the BLET procedure, and it was done three years ago by another surgeon, but the result was horrible. I was unhappy with the outcome. Upon further research, I found Dr. Shahine, and he did my surgery, and I must tell you, he is a genius! I am absolutely happy with the result. I forgot to mention to with my issues of not being able to be put to sleep Before touching me Dr shahine insisted to speak to the clinic in DR to find what was the issue. We got nothing from them so he decided to send me to my medical , cardiac, and allergist , Drs. To investigate my situation all my tests were normal including my allergy shots and all my drs gave him the clearance so he went ahead and schduled me for my procedure .All those drs explained to me that local awake anesthesia is absolutely the safest most comfortable and least painful way. In fact when my sister needed a c section she was not given general anesthesia. It was performed awake on her. This is the modern and safer trend to go local and awake I had researched many many drs for my procedure and one Dr's work always stuck up better than all I saw in other drs.
