Food is not consistent. Some days are good. Some days are bad. Never know what you're gonna get. Most of the staff is nice. After going here for a long time, one of the workers was disrespectful and didn't give a shit about nobody except from himself. I do praise the cooks. They do work hard. This is a hidden Jewel in Hudson Mass. They serve amazingly Fresh Sandwiches made to order hot and cold. Fresh Soups, dinners and some desserts. They are also the state line stop for cigarettes Etc. Our favorite sandwich from the store is made-to- order grilled cheese. It's made on Texas toast and even though it's a little crispy it's still very soft to eat. Plus where can you get a really good grilled cheese sandwich for a dollar. They are very nice picnic tables outside under the trees that you can sit with your sandwiches or dinners and eat. Nice break from all the driving. Very deceiving from the outside but just walk inside you'll see all they have to offer. This is the stuff I make on most of my trips heading up to New Hampshire or on my way back. read more

I've been a patron of this store for over a decade but the quality of customer service has declined quite profoundly. My best advice for Mass residents going there... know what you want when you get there and get in and get out as fast as you can. Today was my last day as a customer after being treated poorly by the female staff manager. I was a bit upset but found the store across from them run by an nice couple from India allowed me more freedom to choose view and even gave me human exchange of conversation. read more

I used to shop here frequently however the teenage cashier lied and said I gave him a 10 when I in fact gave him a 20. The managers and police didn't even want to check the cameras. I was very polite and I knew I was embarrassing myself but I know what the hell I gave that kid. You hire petty thieves then LOL. You probably deleted the camera footage too. read more

Ayottes is by far one of the best deli's in NH. Great food and inexpensive. Also it has one of the best beer selections around.

Great family owned market/deli/beer/tobacco mart. I've been going here since I was a kid and it was only a tobacco destination and not even half of what it is now. It has always been a great state line place to get beer wine and cigarettes but over the years it has evolved into a goto destination for all the above mentioned products and more. Recently they have significantly expanded their craft brew selection. They have also expanded their wine area but the beer is still has the most variety. They also have a dedicated hot sauce area that seems to keep expanding too. The k-cup selection is fantastic and you can mix and match so you an try something without havong to buy a whole box The tobacco (cigarettes, cigars and tobacco) selection seems decent although I can't fully comment on that. The deli serves up some excellent offerings. The have a whole line of signature sandwiches. They have some cakes and cookies too. Their homemade coleslaw is out of this world. They have marinated meats and some cooked entrees and beans. They serve pizza and breakfast too. They have real root beer on tap that you pour yourself. The coffee station has a huge variety of Green Mountain flavors. Its definitely a great place to stop for any of the things I've mentioned. They do a good job of handling the crowds at the registers so you can run in and get out quick. read more

I ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches at 10:48am today. It was picked up and opened at home. One of them, the entire top bulkie roll lid was burnt to a complete black crisp as was the sausage patty. I returned it to the deli and the girl said she would replace it. After waiting about 25 mins, I was given the new sandwich in a very greasy container, therefore I went to the cashier and requested a plastic bag. I let him know the situation and why it wasn't to be rung up. He displayed an negative attitude and blurted out "if it was at no charge it wouldn't have a sticker on it", to which I replied you can check with the deli. As I started to leave he started yelling at me to stop, as if I was stealing, and with that out came what appeared to be a manager. I explained the scenario again and he says "it must be a misunderstanding". No apology what so ever, even though it was clear he heard his cashier yelling at me. Needless to say this whole experience took about an hour. The lack of customer serve and disrespect will deter me from ever shopping there again. read more

I live in Mass and refuse to pay the outrageous taxes on Cigars.Smokin Joe's blows away all the local shops both in NH and Mass for Cigar price and selection.They have a good Micro Brew selection.Help is friendly but there is one problem I do have.More than one time they have sent a worker into the humidor 'Acting" like they want to see if I need help.It's obvious to me they think I am trying to sneak a free Cigar ! I'm not a thief and I am a REGULAR Customer here1 to 2 times a week.They do have a theft problem hence the security cams etc but follow the thieves not your PAYING Customers!...it gets a little bit too much when this happens and down right insulting. I'm no kid I am in my 50's!!!! Oh well I guess I must look shady ! I would have given them 5 stars but the scrutiny I have experienced has knocked it down to 2 stars. read more

Seriously the best beer selection for miles. You can make your own six pack or just buy one to try it. Every time I'm looking for something they have it here. they have never failed. This is one weird place. While their unique and surprisingly rich beer selection is what draws me to here repeatedly, their young female cashier's ungrateful & fake "thank you" at the end of the transaction irk me to no end. For those who suspect that they look like to-be thieves in the cigar area and are being monitored. It's not you guys, it's them.
