We had a semi-private spot next to the bar and the space was bigger than it looked in pictures. Everyone had room and was comfortable. I do not have enough good things to say about my experience here. Between the service, the food, and the environment, I couldn't imagine a better private event. The staff was so accommodating and was even able to prepare a special dish for one of my guests with severe food restrictions (even with last-minute notice). We started a bachelorette party here last Saturday night and it was perfect! We signed a contract and paid a set price per person (tax and tip included) in advance- so from the moment we sat we were served endless glasses of wine and prosecco! And waves of small plates were brought out - all very delicious,including gluten free bread and a salad to accommodate me!- all without having to say a word, because our menu was set via an easy online contract. The meal was finished off with plates of gourmet chocolates (even a small gluten free selection was brought to me) and a last call on drinks and we were all set- no need to figure out money or tip since it was all done in advance! I emailed them 4 days prior to the event with a decent size group of 17 people and they were so quick with responding with questions back and forth on emails. Service at the place was fantastic and! I recently had a holiday party that was hosted by AYZA Events & Catering. The event manager, Yulia, worked with me from the beginning and helped me book the party smoothly. She was even present during the party to make sure everything was running as promised! The AYZA Events & Catering staff paid very close attention to details when it came to things like the décor, presentation and the authenticity of the food. Amongst the well-organized presentation of the multiple varieties of platters are little touches sparsely added to tie the look together. The wide range of platters included cheese and charcuteri platters, which left a memorable taste. The presentation and taste of the horderves increased your appetite and left us waiting for what was to come. The artisanal chocolates had a rich and creamy taste. The chocolate shots were tasty, smooth and perfect for a party! The AYZA staff worked collaboratively as a team to meet all of our needs. I hosted my older sisters 40th birthday party here. There was about 15 people and we reserved one area of the restaurant. The staff decorated the table roses, which was a nice touch. The space is a bit small, so moving around is a challenge. Outside of this small issue, the event turned out great. The waitress was very quick with taking drink orders for such a big crowd and always got the order right. Once the food started coming out, there was no waiting for the next dishes. I've been to Ayza many times and I've always loved their food. They threw in chocolate martinis for every one as an add on while dessert was served and it was amazing!! The only minor issue I had was that when my sisters cupcakes were brought out, they forgot to light the candles I gave them...I just did it quickly myself. I had my birthday party at Ayza last night. I was in contact with Irem this past month and she was so very accommodating and patient with me during the planning. I decided to do the 2 hour package and it was great! I love tapas but feared sharing with a big group... but we had tons of food. I didn't even taste everything I felt so full! There were huge bowls of olives, yummy hummus which was easy to share, and tons of cheese and meat. The main dishes were easy to share as well and it was fun trying different items. Our server was great and was attentive to us throughout the two hours. We were never without a drink in our hand. This past Sunday, we had a 3 hour cocktail party at Ayza. We found the restaurant management team extremely flexible, willing to work within our budget and offer a very attractive package. This included sizable platters, champagne starters, choice of wine, beer and pass around hors d'oeuvres for the entire event, followed by their famous chocolates. - Yum. We had close to 65 people at our event so the management team gave us the entire outside area and half of the inside. It worked out perfectly as guests were able to mingle, move around and cool down a bit inside before returning outside. The food - beautiful platters of berries, olives, & cheese/meat. The pass arounds of hors d'oeuvres was delicious and continual throughout the evening. This including angry chicken, Paninis, dumplings, hummas and more. Under no circumstances did any of our guests go hungry. The Service - what can I say. The staff catered to all our guests. Wine glasses were offered and refilled continuously. Even water (cucumber flavored) was offered throughout the evening. We had several seniors with us, and all were cared for by the restaurant team. When one senior requested some fruit, she received a bowl full. Just outstanding! Used dishes and glasses were quickly removed, so the restaurant was clean throughout the party A small touch but so important and often overlooked.. Even the music was at the right decibel level. As for Dessert- to save $$$, we had our own cake brought in. The staff cut/served the cake at no additional cutting fee and provided us the leftovers in an easy to take home box. Cannot thank the management team, the staff enough. Truly made our graduation party a great way to kickoff our summer. BTW, My wife and I had dinner prior to the party in order to sample the food - we were not disappointed with anything we had. Oh, and the Chocolate Martinis - worth the indulgence :) Five Stars for Food, Service, Decor (we loved the party setup of being outside/inside) and an extra star for the chocolates!!!! read more
