I highly recommend AZ Body Therapy. The owner Mariya has been my massage therapist for almost 5 years now. I have followed her to her new location, which is conveniently located at 43rd avenue and Northern. She if flexible and works with your hours for scheduled appts even to walk-ins. I've tried other therapist in the past, but no one can tailor to my needs better. She listens to your needs and focuses on your requests. If you enjoy a deep tissue massage, then this is the place to go (warning for deep tissue massages) make sure you let her know and speak up on the pressure, because she can really get in there and work those muscles/knots...Let me tell you, when you pay for a deep tissue massage this is what you will GET. It is well worth your money peeps.... Mariya can certainly adjust to your needs from a relaxing firm Swedish to a deep tissue massage. This is also one place you can go and actually feel like you've walked away getting all those knots worked out and not someone lightly tickling/ touching your back or problem areas. This is also a very professional establishment. Please keep in mind if you are looking to go to a spa and sip on some fruit water and sit in a quiet room with a big fancy robe and pay over $100 per hour, only to feel like you are asking yourself "did I even get a massage" then... this is NOT the place for you. Mariya is as good as it gets when it comes to massage therapy. All I can say is that I consider her more of a therapist than a masseuse. I came to her after two trips to two other massage therapists did not come close to working. I was in real pain and had been suffering from spasms and shooting pain for months. I was tired of taking pills to relieve my pain. Mariya took the time to listen to what I had to say and then she taylored a therapy just for me. The other therapists were almost identical in their massage techniques, as if they never listened. This was not the case with Mariya. She spent almost the entire time in the injured area. In addition, she kept asking me questions as to how I was feeling and if one technique helped more compared to another. The previous reviewer was right when she said this is not a super fancy spa type setting. It is a nice office with a nice lobby, in a nice strip mall next to a doctor and physical therapist. It is very clean, comfortable and smells nice, fresh not flowery. I am sure that Mariya and her staff can provide any type of massage or therapy you may need. I have been going to this facility for several years and have tried all the therapists. It's like being Goldilocks. All the therapists have their own style and skill set. You have to keep trying till you find a good fit for your needs. I see Natasha on a regular basis. Her massage technique is fantastic and I am able to relax and feel rejuvenated when done. I get a 90 minute massage. It's my treat to me. It's important to find a therapist you are comfortable with and leave feeling like your money was well spent for your health. They are professional and respectful. I have had massages at various locations of massage facilities around the valley. This one is close to home and their hours are perfect for me. Nicole is the best. I used to have a lot of pain on my left shoulder. I can't raised it but after few sessions, no more problem. Oh BTW, you will get your entire minutes that you are scheduled for. I have had trouble finding a good massage therapist since the one that I used to use quit doing them, and I've tried to find a good one, but have had no luck. Until I saw Nicole. Mariya is the most unprofessional,disgusting massage therapist I have ever encountered. She rubbed he breasts on me, she dressed like a tramp, which was a huge red flag!
