I had high hopes based off of the reviews and was hoping to relieve some tension and soreness. Unfortunately, the session was quite painful and left me in worse shape than when I arrived. The therapist used only her elbows and forearms throughout the entire massage, without using her hands at all. I found this extremely uncomfortable and intense--there was no variation in technique, I ended up with increased soreness and pain in areas that weren't bothering me before, rather than any relief. While I understand different therapists have different styles, this approach felt overly aggressive for my needs and wasn't what I expected from a professional massage. I booked the combo lomi lomi and it was truly unique--she blended deep tissue, stretching, and very rhythmic, soothing movements that made it both therapeutic and deeply relaxing. I went in with noticeable lower back pain and left feeling so much better. My back feels looser, my body more comfortable, and I'm much calmer and more relaxed overall. My husband booked us a couples massage here for my birthday. I typically go to a day spa nearby, but I wasn't about to say no when he was so thoughtful and I'd never been here so we headed over to check them out. It was a little hard to find as it's on the side between two buildings. Luckily I saw the sign for them on the sidewalk. We were greeted right away to a very clean and nice area. We were asked to sign in and double check the massage type and amount of time. We booked a Swedish massage for an hour. The room was spacious, relaxing music playing, but a bit warm. The employees gave us time to undress and turned down the air for us a bit. Once started I was a bit confused on the type of massage I was getting. It wasn't deep tissue for sure, but had parts to it, a lot more arm movements etc. pressure was okay, but I felt I couldn't relax as quickly as my typical Swedish massage. Connector rocks were placed I knew it wasn't typical. At this point I just let it go because I didn't want to ruin such a thoughtful gesture and it did feel nice. After reading these reviews I think they gave me a Lomi lomi massage by mistake. Next time I will speak up if we come again. I am unsure if it's more typical here but I wish the masseuse would've confirmed. All in all the place is nice and price is very reasonable. read more

I don't remember the masseuse who my wife got. My masseuse's name was Jessica. She was very professional and strong. She primarily used her hands, fingers, and elbows. Their prices will not be beat, but their service and attention to detail is the best I've seen here in this area. From the front desk, welcomes with a smile and will get you the right person for what you need. If you need deep tissue work and someone who knows how to break down that stubborn knot of muscles that has you complaining all day at work. Then come here. This is a hidden gem! I had a 90-minute Swedish massage and it felt like 3 hours. So good! The facility is clean, organized and everyone is very professional and courteous. It feels like a true day spa should. I wish I would have gotten the name of the gentleman that was my massage therapist (hopefully the business can chime in below with a comment..Swedish at 9:30am on 5/2). He was very thoughtful, polite, professional and had amazing technique. I have gotten massages every 2 weeks for 12 years from stand-alone business to Massage Envy to resort spas, so I have a lot to compare it to. There was a lot of stretching techniques, followed by the traditional massage. My only tip for customers, they do use massage oil. I loved it, but I'm on an off day from work or needing to be presentable. But hands down will be my go-to when I'm in the area! read more

My masseuse was very thorough and really worked on the knots that I had complained about. After a 20+ hour drive from the PNW, this was a necessity. I've never had a Thai massage before but she incorporated those techniques into my deep massage and I enjoyed it so much. Especially at the back of my leg and calves.
