Recently my husband and I decided to install solar window films on some of the windows in our home in Surprise, AZ. We were hoping to reduce our electric bill by keeping the heat out this summer. After researching a few Window Film companies, we decided on Arizona Solar and another company. We requested a consultation and quote from each company. In my son's room, we installed security window film to help reinforce his window from the dangers of breaking; as well as the rear kitchen window...under my oldest son's basketball hoop. I am so pleased with the results we got from this home improvement project and further impressed with the level of customer service received from Arizona Solar Control. We had an issue with heat and furniture fading from our large arched French paned window as well as a French door and a butted glass window facing south. I emailed AZ Solar and received a prompt call back to set up an appointment. Tom, the owner of the company, came out and gave us a very comprehensive explanation of the types of film available, as well as the benefits and the process. We decided to go with AZ Solar Control and were able to schedule the application the next week. Doug arrived promptly and got straight to work. It took him 2 full days to complete the work (as we were informed prior to his arrival) and he did an awesome job! The curved pieces and numerous cuts made the job difficult I'm sure, but he remained pleasant, organized, and hard-working. He cleaned up throughly afterwards and the workmanship is exceptional. No "air spots", etc. and the film is perfect. I received a phone call a week later to check up and see if we were pleased with the work! Arizona Solar Control installed a faux stained glass window film on my front door window to add privacy, so people cannot see straight into my house. I was very please with the look of the window when they were done installing it and it did it's job of offered a lot more privacy to the inside street view of my house. However, there was an area where the welding on the window was not real straight and I saw a few bubbles near it. The gentleman was very nice and said that it can happen but they should quickly go away. It was about 2 months later and I noticed the bubbles were less but still there. You could really tell without knowing to look, but I knew. I called and spoke to a woman in the office and she scheduled an appointment for a tech to come out and investigate my claim. About 2 weeks later, they came back out and replaced it for me and this time, no bubbles. Although the initial installation had trouble, they were really good about backing up their product and workmanship. Overall, I was pleased. read more

I was actually referred by a friend after I was complaining about the heat in my living room during a play date with our kids. She told me about window tinting (I thought they only did that on cars). We love our new home but it is huge and bright and we have been worried about the rising cost of our electric bill in a new two story home. The house has dual paned windows and seems to be insulated well but so much sun gets inside during the day that it gets pretty warm and it is not yet August and 118 degrees out yet. A friend recommended I call Arizona Solar Control to get a price on putting solar tint in the worst windows to cut down the amount of sun getting in. All of the windows in the read of the house get sun most of the day; through the arcadia doors and stairwell windows too. We decided to add the solar tint to 6 windows and the sliding door. They were very reasonable on price and had the installation complete within two weeks of my first call. The solar tint has really helped to dim the sun down to an appropriate level. read more

Arizona Solar Control installed Solar Window films on my East facing and West facing windows last week and the difference they make is amazing. They had to reschedule me 2 days later than I had planned due to materials arriving late, but all in all I am happy with the installation and the companies service. The price was competitive and the outcome of the windows looks great. Over the last week with temperature reaching 110 degrees already, I have notice the difference of having the tinted shade on the windows. My bedroom is usually quite hot because it is a good size and open to the bathroom - it is hard to cool and the afternoons are terrible. With the new solar films, I can actually bear to be in there before the sun goes down. The heat that used to pour in through the windows has drastically been reduced. read more

I received incredible service from Tom and his team. On the side of my office I have a wall of windows probably 30 feet long. The sun would just bake on them all day making it incredibly hot. Thanks to Tom's suggestion I went with tint and not a covering so we still have the view outside and the natural light come in but it has also reduced the temperature tremendously. On the front of my office I also had them add a window decal of my companies logo. My logo is pretty complex and is 4 colors and they did amazing work. It really makes my business stand out and I receive complements from customers all the time on how great the logo looks on the window. The summer out here last year nearly killed me. I am used to humidity but not the "dry heat" Arizona offers. My neighbor said I needed to tint or shade my windows to reduce the heat coming into the house. He had these awnings that I thought looked terrible, but I agreed I needed something. Sun Screens were an option but I didn't want to have to clean them, since we also get a lot of dust; so I opted for Solar Window Tinting. They scheduled me in before the heat, so I had Arizona Solar Control install a pretty dark tint over most of the window and a few shade lighter where I thought less light came in naturally, like my north facing windows. I am hoping that this summer will be cooler inside and cheaper on my electric bill. read more

I recently had Az solar control install window tinting at my home, and the difference was incredible. My leather sofa was getting beaten up by direct sunlight and was very warm to the touch in summer months. Now the room is much cooler, sofa is not getting direct sunlight. Tom was owner was great to deal with, and his installers went above and beyond during the install, very professional and courtious. I've already hired them again to install tinting at my business, which had westerly facing shop windows, which made my lobby unbearable in the summer month. Recently remodeled and upgraded my master bathroom. We installed a new glass shower and a whirlpool bathtub. The glass shower doors now faced an open set of corner windows facing Bell Road. My wife did not want heavy curtains and shears gave no privacy. The electrical contractor suggested Privacy Window Film to fix the issue, either on the shower doors themselves or the windows. We found a great film that matched the decor of the new bathroom and decided to put solar film on the windows and privacy films on the actual shower door. Last year Arizona Solar Control installed a really nice solar window film tint on my upstairs windows. My grandkids are coming over a lot more now and I am always afraid they are going to go right through my arcadia doors. I own a drive-thru liquor store in North Phoenix, AZ and I have a lot of trouble with kids or criminals breaking out my windows. A fellow business owner suggested that the bars I installed might be helped out by adding a Security Window Film to minimize any damage to the inside of the building. I looked them up online and request an estimate including the 10% off they offer and then I called Arizona Solar Control and made an appointment. Last time my window was broken out, the loss was much more expensive including the stolen liquor and broken bottles. Everyone that has assisted with our security film install has been courteous and professional. The owner came out for our quote and was very knowledgeable and friendly. We received another quote from a different company and AZ Glass came in slightly cheaper offering all of the same services. The only thing I wish I would have been informed of prior to install of the security film on our slider doors is that the anchoring system is black in color and does not match the tan trim of the slider. I suppose it's something I should have inquired about during the quote process. Otherwise, I am very pleased with the results and do recommend AZ Glass. read more

My electric bill from the last year and a half has decreased by almost 20 percent, After reviewing the savings I had to let others know what this could mean for you. Contacted them a couple days before my appt and was able to accommodate additional work to be done for my appt. On the date of install it was quick and easy. Everyone I came in contact with was awesome, friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and overall cost was reasonable and affordable for long lasting benefit.
