First off the tech arrived and although she was very kind and great, she had a strong smell from her lotion that fill our whole house. We asked her if after putting the IV in, if she could sit in the other room and check in on us because she smelled to strong and it was making my wife sick. Additionally, we asked to make the IV slow in order to not overwhelm her system. She agreed to both and said it was no problem. An hour later, a dispatch operator named Chris (apparently he is one of the owners as well), calls his tech, and then proceeds to yell at my wife and telling her that her request and the speed that we were going were simply "unacceptable". I don't care who you are, you don't yell at your customer (who is already dealing with stress from a medical condition) because your tech agreed to our request. If there was an issue, it should have been explained in a better way. Simply, they don't care about you and your care, they just want to get to the next appointment and collect your money. Will never use them again.

However, on a recent weekday afternoon, I found myself in the area of this Scottsdale location, so I popped in for a visit. The ladies working there were welcoming and kind. I decided to go with the "Athletic Performance IV" which includes b-complex, glutathione, magnesium, and calcium. My visit was uneventful... I was in and out within maybe 40 minutes but was able to relax during the IV, connect to wifi, do a bit of work, etc... I appreciated the charging cord, comfortable chair and drink to hydrate even more. I so appreciate Hydrate IV Bar for the care and quality they put into the experience every time (at all locations). I am grateful for the opportunity to proactively care for my health and wellness (and sometimes reactively too pending the circumstance) no matter where I am in the valley.

My mom (a nurse) recommended going to the ER, but I have terrible health insurance and knew I'd end up paying thousands. I texted Element, and Krista showed up at my door an hour later. I'd never received an IV in my life, let alone at my own house, so I was clueless--but desperate. Krista was incredibly kind and patient with me as she worked to find a vein that would take the IV. She never once made me feel gross, even though she was witnessing me at an incredibly humbling moment. I felt comfortable and safe around her and when the bag was empty, I owed roughly $400-far less than I would have paid at the ER. The anti-nausea meds in the bag helped a ton, too. I feel that I would not have recovered from my illness nearly as quickly if I had skipped the IV. Now I know that in a pinch, Element has my back.

I spoke with the employees here at IV Nutrition and they recommended what they believed was best for my situation. While I was in Europe I met a very beautiful girl, and found out she lived in California. We dated long distance for a year, then she moved to Arizona and we eventually got married this January.
