I got the classic lash extensions and I absolutely love them! The place is adorably decorated and very comfortable. Overall, I got a relaxed and cozy vibe from this place. In fact, I was so comfortable that I fell asleep when Natalie applied my extensions. Normally, I can never fall asleep anywhere but I was out like a baby within just a few minutes. That's how good she is! Natalie is really sweet, skilled, and careful. For the first time, I hardly felt any of the stinging/watery eye discomfort during the application process. In under two hours, I was off on my way. They look really pretty and natural. It's been about 1.5 weeks and the retention on these are great! The lash studio is located in downtown Chandler, which I really enjoyed checking out. There's a great ice cream place right across so definitely get a cone after getting your lashes did. There's also a great, inexpensive eyebrow threading place within walking distance so the location is excellent. You also don't have to worry about parking because there is a parking lot adjacent to AZ Lash Lady. Overall, a great lash experience. I'll be back for sure! read more

I don't think I have ever left such a poor review. I made an appointment for a fill several weeks ago. They had the information to know I was a new client who had not been seen before. I am here in AZ taking graduate classes for 8 weeks and just couldn't get back to my person in CA enough for all the fills. I needed one here in AZ. I drove over 30 minutes to an appointment and was just told the fill couldn't be done. I was told a full set would need to be done instead because she doesn't do fills for other people's work. I understand if this is their policy, however, this should have been communicated to me prior to coming to this appointment. Very poor business practice and terrible treatment of a potential client. I wasted over an hour of my time, plus I rearranged my very busy schedule to make this appointment even possible. I will not try to use them again. read more

Worst experience I've ever had If I could give them no STARS I would, made an appt with owner she told me about upgrades and prices, which I asked about I wanted my lashes to look full and dark she advised me that they have books with pictures of past clients to choose from so I felt comfortable with knowing that. I asked how long Tracy had been doing lashes she told me just over a year, she said that she makes sure all are trained that she just doesn't hire anyone. So I can in at 2:00pm for a 2:15 appt. filled out my paperwork which includes medical and allergies (Im allergic to tape and have had 2 head surgeries) so I knew my limitations. With that being said I met with Tracy, she was nice and I showed her what I wanted my lashes to look like she advised that those would be a little to long but could get the fullness and make them like I was wearing mascara, we proceeding in the her room I asked if she was going to use tape or has the pads as Ive had my lashes done before,Tracy said we only use tape i told my concerns she told me told worry I'll put the tape on your forehead to get some oil from then she would put cream under the tape so I should be good, so we proceeded.. After 4.5 hours laying on her table, being poked in the head from her tool, then she ripped off the tape from under my first eye and saw the swelling and redness and said Oh I'm sorry! then was more cautious with the second eye she then showed me my lashes! I couldn't believe what I was looking at she had hardly put any ON and they weren't even!!! They looked nothing like the photo at all!! At that point the shop was closed and I was sooo upset I just paid and left!!! I then tried to call the owner, no answer,sent a text.. no response, this was on a friday, called Monday... no answer..I cant believe how you stay in business!!! OH and the other lady doing lashes in the next room had done 3 clients in the time I was there!!! I still have not a had a call back to this day! read more

It's been 4 months since my first review and I still love coming all the way from the west valley to see Li. There's always tons of before and after pictures of lashes --while clients eyes are closed. Which bugs me because with how thin my Asian lashes are, they usually don't look great when eyes are opened. I had a disappointing experience the first time, I had some unusual lash loss very quickly in the first week, but the girl that I went to was new. I know I have difficult lashes though (more about that later). Had a Groupon, so I thought she deserved a chance since I was getting a deal anyway. I know what it's like to be new in this industry so I wanted to give her a shot but the result was not what I was looking for. When I sent a message to Shawn, she was very quick to make sure that I was going to be taken care of. All in all, this place is very professional! It is in a small house, but there are plenty of parking around and the interior is very clean. Very first time I left the place, Shawn was sure that I got to my car safely because it was dark. Now onto my lash artist Li. She is exactly what I've been searching for!! I have very straight and fine Asian lashes that grows in very direction. Not only was she able to fix my last set but she made them look amazing!!! They curl and have just the right amount of volume. It was and hour fill. She was so gentle I fell asleep. Today was my third appointment with Natalie, and I am so, so happy with her work! I consider Natalie a real artist, because she is so meticulous and focused on giving me the outcome I want. I never received any services from AZ Lash Lady. Her terrible customer service is what drives this review. I decided last minute to get eyelash extensions for my brother's wedding. I was happy to see the google reviews of this place and saw you can pre-pay on-line, which I did to speed up service. It had not occurred to me that there may be no available appointments. This part is definitely my fault. When Shawn found out she could not fit my schedule, she basically begged me to come in. Offering to move appointments around, which still would not help me. She then left a voicemail asking me to cancel or move my hair appointment, just so I could book with her. Um...that is not the way to do customer service, it's just weird and frankly off-putting. When she couldn't fit my schedule, I asked her multiple times to give me a refund for my deposit, to which she ignored and kept trying to find ways to get me to come in. So, she finally admits to defeat and says she will give me a refund. The next day, my refund is minus $2.50. When I e-mailed her about it, she explains that she was merely deducting the fee that paypal placed on her and that normally deposits are non-refundable. This does state this on the website, and I missed it, that again, is my fault. She also offered to send me a check for $2.50, as her apology. However, I declined, as this was already way too much work for a service never rendered. Bottom line is that you failed to mention that the deposit was non-refundable, as you were too busy begging for my business. You cannot suggest a brand NEW client move around their own schedule, so that you can grab their business. When you tell someone you are refunding them, at least notify them that you are not refunding the entire amount. I am sure you do a great job on lashes, but customer service is always first and foremost. read more

Shawn is such a doll. I am amazed at the former review considering how sweet & what an effort Shawn made to make her non-client happy. Unfortunately I only got to see Shawn for about 3-4 months, but every time my lashes were flawless! She is amazing at the application process too, I even fell asleep more than one time! Uncomfortable/she wears ear buds the whole time. Presses too hard on your forehead the whole time. Tapes your lower lashes so close to the lower lid which causes pain. Took an hour for just 1 eye. Could not lay there, my neck felt like it was going numb. Terrible experience!! She took off the lashes on the one eye which burned like crazy. My eye was all red and sore! Anyone who gives this place less than 4/5 stars is nuts! I have no idea what @Shannon G is talking about. If you were that sensitive to tapes, etc., why get lashes??? Get some mascara! I had Tracy and she was great. The place isn't super luxurious but more than adequate, clean, convenient and comfortable. Tracy was always checking to see if I was comfortable, offered me water and a blanket. I came in through Groupon, but will definitely be back. The lashes look great and while I'm getting used to them, they make a difference in the framing of my face. So, if you're new to lashes, and not sure - use a Groupon and you be the judge. Next time, I'm sure I'll get them thicker, but it's like getting your nails done; what's the big deal? Just get them done differently the next time. I'm particularly impressed in that Shawn, the owner sent me a text and wanted to make sure I was satisfied. That makes a difference. VERY Pleased. The first time I went to her, she took the time to explain how they measure your natural lash to determine the right length of extension for you and that you don't want to put on extensions that are too long or thick lashes because it could cause damage to your natural lash. Next, I had to find someone to apply them. I went to a 15 minute consultation with Li at AZ LASH LADY in Chandler. They were so friendly, and took as much time as I needed for questions. They made recommendations about what would work with my natural lash style in order to have a healthy application. I felt very comfortable with my decision and their skills. Lash Day finally arrived! Li did a great job of applying them. I never felt even a pinch of discomfort nor any "poking" that I had read about from other locations. It was very hard to stay awake. Seriously, Li was so gentle with my eyelashes; it was very comfortable. As for the lashes, I forget they are there - they "feel" the same as my natural lashes. I only notice them in a mirror. I have eyelashes that are very straight, grow in various directions, easily become tangled, as well as grow very fast; consequently my lashes also do "massive" sheds ...
