Such a cute little spa by downtown gilbert. Super accommodating to walk ins. I've had the privilege of getting my eyebrows waxed here, lash lift done and a 30 minute massage. The ladies are all super kind and sweet. I will give the disclaimer if you are wanting relaxing vibe this place is relaxing and inviting but they do not have dimmed lights in the hallway and sometime the music is a little loud. 10/10 because I had the most pleasant and FAST service at Bare Necessity Wax& Spa from the first phone call. Lacey answered the phone quickly and professionally. I told her specifically what service I needed done and to my convenience not only do they take walk in's, but they just so happened to have availability right then and there. With a quick drive over and into the Homestead complex just south of downtown (Heritage) Gilbert I was filling out paper work within minutes and greeted by Macie, who would be waxing my underarms, seconds later. First time guests receive 50% off their first service (depending the service) and 10% for booking after their session. My service was the fastest underarm wax I have ever received. I came here today after years. I was a loyal customer for a few years since about 2013 and it seems like it has gone through some changes since then. I only left because I followed my favorite aesthetician but she has now moved out of state. I saw Kenna today for an eye brow wax today. She was great 10/10. Docking a star because I do not appreciate their child policy. I understand it is a safety risk to have children there but also if you know your child is well behaved they should be able to join you on your appointment. Gilbert is literally catering to moms so this policy doesn't seem the best. read more

Scheduled a custom facial with a dermaplaning add on here a few months ago, and the experience was pure bliss! Scheduling and check-in were easy and went smoothly. Staff was friendly and welcoming. After filling out some paperwork, I was immediately seen by my aesthetician, Ellie. She brought me to one of the rooms. It was clean and calming with soothing music. She briefly explained the process before getting started. Within minutes, I was asleep which has never happened before! Not even for massages. I even caught myself snoring a few times. Oops. That's how relaxed I was. This was my first time getting dermaplaning done and won't be my last. My face was glowing after the facial! Eyebrow Wax & Shape I'm not usually one to leave a review but this needs to be shared. On June 3rd this is how I left the business. Completely botched the shape and the tint. I had a completely different shape and left feeling shocked. Very traumatic and I didn't even know a brow tint or wax could go this bad.
