The staff at the PCM is very good at detecting lice, but in my I would not recommend sending your child there because they do not clean their environment or do any other preventative measures to prevent other children from getting infested. I am definitely that person who freaked out when finding lice in my daughters hair, and cringed at the thought that I probably had it as well. Turns out I did of course! The first thing that popped in my head was thinking back to when I was younger and my sister and I both had lice, and how my mom went through hell for months to get rid of those buggers.
