The salon is small and personable. I go onto their website to make appointments and the process is very easy. I love that when I walk in, they greet me by name and offer me water and direct me where to sit. the atmosphere is very Zen and the aesthetic is very welcoming. I this is my third time coming to the salon and I appreciate the professionalism of everyone in there. with my current esthetician away, i decided to try this spa for a pedicure which came highly recommended on a moms fb group. I could tell right away that the esthetician was new(er) as she didn't know how to remove my in grown toe nails. she brought someone else over with the tool in her hand, who also didn't seem confident in the task as I had to keep showing her where the ingrown was. this made me nervous. The first girl then took over for the rest of the pedi which was just OK. She was slow(er), the cuticles weren't trimmed properly, and the nails weren't painted to the edge. I was trying to be patient and she was really nice but just missing knowledge/experience/confidence. The worst part is the next day I was feeling pain in my toe, took my sock off, grabbed my foot and pus oozed out of my toe! It is clearly infecte! and obviously unsanitary equipment used. I will definitely NOT go back here or recommend Azia. read more

Tried this place out for a pedicure. First off the girls were were super polite and nice. Water temperature was good. However there was no buffing or callus removal done. No massage either. My feet are in the same rough, dry shape now as they were when I showed up for the pedicure. Now I'm out money and have to go elsewhere to get my feet re-done. I would not recommend Azia. I got eyelash extensions and by the next morning my eyes were infected. I went back and had the eyelashes removed within 36 hours my eyes were swollen shut. I asked for a credit back and all she gave me was $40. I asked if myself and my 2 daughters could get free gel nail polish instead. We went in and she still charged us and outrageous amount. This was my first visit to the salon, and I was so pleased with my whole experience! The reception area and receptionists were friendly and inviting, and the new guest consent forms were succinct and paperless. This salon is much bigger than I initially thought; they have lots of spa and aesthetics services. I had my nails done by Sara, and I cannot say enough good things about her! I have simple taste, but I was very particular about the colour I wanted to wear. Sara was so professional, and so patient with me; she tried three different colours on me before we found the right one, but she didn't get annoyed at me, or make me feel badly about being so picky. I was so impressed with how expertly efficient Sara was at completing my nails, without skipping out on quality. I can't tell you how thrilled I am to have found an aesthetician who is so skilled in their craft, and so open to communicating with me about the look I'm going for. 10/10 recommend. If I could give 0 stars I would. I made an appointment for a lash lift and tint and was very nervous as I hadn't ever gotten one done before. I didn't know what to expect, and maybe it was my fault for not researching this salon as much as I should have. First of all, the lady tinting and curling my lashes told me she would be doing the 'tinting' first, which I didn't know at the time is VERY damaging to your lashes to do before the perm. She left the dye on my lashes for about two minutes when it should have been closer to ten, and proceeded to botch the lash perm entirely. She rushed through the entire procedure, left the perm solution on for three minutes (average time is 10-12 minutes) and sent me on my way. I looked in the mirror and was incredibly disappointed; there was no additional colour to my lashes, which have always been blonde, and the curl was extremely minimal and there wasn't a noticeable difference from my natural lashes. When I asked if there should be more curl, she said because my eyelashes were 'strong' I should come back in a month and have them curled more. Obviously this was just a money-grab, giving new clients the BARE minimum so they would have to come back in three weeks for another full priced procedure. I was told not only that the lash lift and tint should last two to three months, but that the procedure would be at least an hour long. With the minute wait before the appointment and the few seconds it took me to pay, the whole thing lasted about twenty-five minutes. Within thirty minutes of coming home and reviewing my lashes in better lighting, I called the spa to complain about the result, and let them know the spa lady had done the procedure entirely wrong. They asked for photos and I sent them, and then proceeded to leave me on read for five hours, stalling and making up excuses as to why my once thick and long lashes are now thin, damaged, and translucent. When I asked for a refund for the $60 I spent, I was told I would be given $10 credit. $10 for ruining my eyelashes and offering slow and disorganized customer service. Fortunately, I visited two salons the next day asking if there was anything that could be done to salvage my lashes. Both salons agreed the procedure was completely botched and damaging to my lashes, and one salon offered a lash lift and tint completely free of charge after my eyelashes rested and healed. I am extremely disappointed in the services provided from Azia, and recommend clients seeking lash lifts and tints or any service look somewhere else. I definitely won't be back. read more

Love this place. My sister and I went here to get gel nails done and they were amazing. The ladies we saw (Lu Lu and Angie) were friendly and professional. We had a lovely conversation while they did our nails and the end result was fabulous. We had both been to other places prior and I can tell you that neither one of us will go anywhere else from now on. My sister has also had massages there and loves them. Azia nail is the only nail salon I go to in Sherwood Park. It is very clean and they have excellent service. I usually get the gel nails and they last for a solid 3-4 weeks before I have to get them filled. read more

I took my sister there to get acrylic fill. When we got there the blonde lady at the front desk greeted us in a very poor manner and was even rude to her own staff in front of us! didn't like that to begin with but..I told her that my sister just wanted a filling done and just plain white color on her nails, she said price for that starts at $50.00. My sister decided to pass as she's had them done before for only 35 dollars so I explained to the blonde (rude) lady that the price was out of range for my sister and she went ahead and told me "WELL THEN YOU SHOULD'VE ASK THE PRICE ON THE PHONE INSTEAD OF WASTING MY TIME" well let me just say that was not only rude but also wrong! as the whole place was absolutely EMPTY! (which I can see happening with a treatment like that) even the staff looked a little terrified of her! I think it's safe to say WE WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE and I'm writing this review to let others know before it's too late, If you're willing to spend good money in acrylic filling then you should go somewhere else where they actually treat you nice! read more

Went to get eye lash extensions and the girl who took care of me was not professional or hygienic, first of all did not wash her hands before starting to work on me which i thought was weird then as she was working on me she obviously just had her lunch and could have refreshed herself afterwards as it was unpleasant.
