To the person who wrote this review, first off I have worked here for 10 years and never have I had a screw up in my paycheck or recieving my tips. In fact I've never seen an employer work so hard to make sure everything is 100% accurate. So saying an employer is stealing from their staff is a huge accusation to make. Maybe get your facts straight before spreading false information. Second, we have always taken sanitization seriously but due to COVID-19, things have gotten that much more intense. The charge makes sense for how much behind the scenes cleaning is being done to ensure the staff and customers that walk in are safe! Keep up the great work Munira! Myself Hanna I am working at TresXhic more than TEN YEARS . I get every single penny of my tips . I never ever have any issues with my pay or tips. The owner always make sure that everyone get their tips money . I have no idea WHY are you saying these kind of things. I request to you please don't spread these wrong word about the owner . This is the only place I will go for an eyebrow threading. I have seen a number of aestheticians there, and I get the same high-quality result from each of them; the consistency is great. I used to live in the Terwillegar area and went originally for convenience. I now live in the West and still make the trip as I believe it's fully worth it. I rarely make an appointment as I find that walk-ins are more than welcome. Customer service is lacking, however. There seems to be a general level of disorganization at the front desk. I also called to schedule an eyebrow threading today and received less than stellar service. They asked me to "please hold" when I called, and then proceeded to put the phone down. I listened to background noise and conversation for the entire time I was waiting. The only reason I stayed on the line is out of curiousity about how long it would take for them to realize that the phone was off the hook with a customer waiting on the other end. I came in to get eyebrow threading done for the first time shaking in my boots and not really knowing what to expect. Right when I got in the door though the staff was lovely. I didn't have an appointment but they slotted me in for a half hour later and didn't give me any attitude about not calling ahead. The Aesthetician doing my eyebrows was very professional and didn't rush me along at all while I struggled with trying to explain how I would like my eyebrows shaped. It did hurt but nowhere near what I was expecting as she worked very quickly. I also really appreciated her not taking it personally when I wasn't a hundred percent satisfied at the end and asked her to take a little more hair off. This salon itself is located out in Terwilliger for those of you who aren't familiar with the address. The area has a reputation of being a little bit more pricey and ritzy but I checked over every service that they offered carefully and found it to be on par with the bigger chain salons like Q nails. Five stars all the way and I definitely look forward to returning to try out some of the other treatments they offer. read more

It's the number 1 place in Edmonton to get threading done. The best way to contact them is to call 780-438-9442, I have it on speed dial! LOL. Thanks to 1 reviewer, they have improved returning calls, and if you don't get to talk to an actual person, leave a message and someone will call you back and book your appointment for you. Slots for appointments fill up pretty fast, so as soon as you think you need an appointment with them book it as fast as you can. They are now taking emails so that they can send you an email confirmation and reminder as to when your appointment is, which I think is pretty cool especially if you're forgetful-saves you time calling them back again and asking when your next appointment is. They do accept walk ins but, they rather have you call in for an appointment. Sometimes they run behind especially when someone has stubborn hair or when instead of 1 service, client decides to have 3 services or a full face done or something like that so, it's not always entirely staff's fault that they are running behind. Usually they tell you when they are running behind and they do apologize for the wait, they generally do not like to make their clients wait. There are 5 wonderful ladies who does threading. They are professional and nice. All of them are very good and if you want to try them all to see who you most prefer to do it for you all the time, you can; and then you can request that particular person to do it for you every time. So far I have tried 3 ladies: Sandeep, Noor and Jessi and they're all very good... My favourite hair stylist is Noralyn, she did my cut and colour so nice that I have found my stylist! The price is not bad either compared to going to the mall and paying lots of $$$$. They do also offer facials, waxing, manicures, pedicures, shellac, tinting, makeup application, laser hair removal, hair cuts and styling.. one of the cheapest I've seen in the city for blowouts! ;) Right now they are offering a promo on Mani and Pedi and Laser Hair Removal. I would definitely come back to this place and recommend it to friends and family. If you ever have a problem with the service just call them or come see them and explain what happened and the owner/manager is very understanding and respectful. You can even bring your babies or kids with you when you get your threading or waxing done or they can wait in the waiting area. I took 1 star away because as many of the ladies want gel nails, they don't offer it and they don't have an official website and Facebook page. They also don't do hair extensions, if you have those clip-on ones they can clip it on for you but they don't have it for sale in-house nor do they glue them on . Lastly weak wifi connection for all you connected peeps so if these are non-negotiables for you, better not disappoint yourself and find another salon. If you read reviews like this, I suggest you try it first and then decide; but for me so far, I'm happy with the service and the price I paid for which is the bottom line. read more

This is where I go to get my eyebrows threaded. They always do an amazing job and listen to what I want done with my Eyebrows. I have a scar on my brow bone and they always use this to help shape my eyebrow and make it less noticeable. Great prices. I always make an appointment but always wait for at least 10 minutes when I get there. It is sometimes difficult to make an appointment because they don't always answer the phone during business hours and don't always return messages. I haven't used any other services here so I cannot comment on them. read more

I have been going to Tres Xhic since they opened. I have been more than delighted with threading! So quick and so well done. Love getting manis and pedis. All the staff are friendly and kind. I have loved watching the relationship between the staff and the owner. She treats her staff with respect and kindness and the staff, in turn, treat her well. It's obvious that things are going right because the staff stay! I read a complaint about coronavirus fee. That stuff is expensive! Hi everybody My name is Sandeep I am working in Tres Xhic salon and spa almost 7 year I was reading one of the review earlier about extra Coronavirus fee and that owner keep the staff tips that is not true,she is really honest lady I have seen in my life she never keep anybody tips who works there .we are 4 girls who are working as a aesthetician almost 7 to 8 year, why we are working with her because she is very loyal professional and caring about her staff and customer ,I haven't seen her keeping anybody penny may the other salon they do but not her ( Tres Xhic salon )and other thing about Coronavirus fee that I just want to clear we never used to wear apron gloves and masks that is cost money and she provides to the staffs and customer and sanitation spray and sanitizers for safety of staff and all the customer who comes to get there services done, I don't think it's any wrong to charge extra couple dollars for everybody's safety. read more

Love this place! Only go here to get my eyebrows threaded, so I can't really comment on any of their other services. Since I've started threading my eyebrows, my eyebrow shape has improved significantly. I used to have very uneven brows from waxing, and now they are even and just the right amount of thickness. The price is not too bad (around $11-$13 for eyebrows, I think), and the salon itself is very clean. read more

would not recommend this salon to anyone. It's run down, with poorly trained hairdressers and outdated fixtures. Over the phone customer service is non-existent from owner to employees. Sent my 12 year old daughter for a trim and they cut her waist length hair into a lob after we repeatedly mentioned to the owner that we only wanted the dead ends trimmed. Not the first time we've had a negative experience here but I urge people not to waste their time at this salon. read more

I went and got a quick trim here and it was great. The service was quick, professional and excellent quality. I would highly suggest this place to any guy to get their hair cut. My hair was cut by Abe, so make sure you ask for him. My wife has been getting her eye brows threaded here for a long time and they're always on point* At most salons they would always wash my hair before and take so long to cut it (around an hour). But he said he could see the ridges and texture much better dry. So he was able to blend perfectly and not spend more time than what was needed. He cut it in about 20mins total and it was around $20. read more

I've gone to Tres Xhic for brow threading for the past 4 years. They recently raised their prices slightly, but it's still cheaper than the other places. The girls all do a good job shaping brows. I typically come as a walk-in during off times and the wait is never longer than 10 minutes. The salon feels a bit crowded but the threading is so good I'll overlook and give it 5 stars. read more

Amazing for brows (i always go to preet). Terrible for hair. Since Tess left, it has been awful. I went in two days ago for a trim, and apparently that's an invitation to chop it all off !! Dirty - the "stylist" had to be told to sweep up the hair from her last customer. Yuck - insist on a clean comb.

This salon was an unfortunate experience for me. I went in for a black fading into pastel purple ombre style. The hair dresser who I consulted with was very enthusiastic that she could do it and we picked swatches. However during the actual appointment it seemed like a lot of guess work was going on. I have very black hair and they simply didn't bleach it enough before adding in the purple (yet they kept insisting it would lighten up once it's dry). The shade was a lot darker than the colour we had decided on and it didn't stand out very well. In the end my hair was dry, damaged and not even the intended colour. They said the colour would stay in for a maximum of a month and I was expecting around 2 weeks, but after one wash (following instructions of cold water and colour stay products) the purple came out completely. I was left with a kind of brownish/orangeish colour. And to top it all off, when I went to pay I was unsure whether I should tip or not, having never been to a professional salon before. When I asked the lady behind the counter how much to tip, she curtly responded with "Are you not from here?" I think from now on, I'll make sure to only go to salons recommended by others. read more
