Our first yelp event, and it was amazing! The food was good, the kids meal came in this cute baseball cap bucket with a drink and fries. In total we only spent about $27 (nachos, kids quesadilla meal, and a souvenir drink) I got to take my babygirl to her first baseball game, and got free icecream as well! (Ofc she ate both.. lol) My daughter had a blast, with the music and vibe from the crowd. (she enjoyed dancing and cheering) I was worried it was gonna be hot since is 100 degrees but it was actually really chill since it's shaded by the time we got in. There was a long line but it was short by the time we got in line. The parking was $10 but I know some areas were free which is great. We went for Dino night so it was so cute watching everyone participate in different activities. They gave out some prizes, t shirts, and we saw some players give out balls! The bathrooms were fine in my opinion cleaner than most so it didn't bother me at all. We would definitely be attending again, it was such a fun experience!!

We love coming here for a good time to just chill, watch some fun baseball and eat some good food! There are always a really great variety of food options and they even bring in and rotate food trucks sometimes as well to keep it interesting! It's a great place for kids too with the Splash park area, where you can still see and enjoy the game from. Plenty of alcohol choices as well and they even have local pop up tents inside for awareness and support within the community! I love love love the asada fries! The pretzels are Yummi, but the cheese is flavorless and a little disappointing. The funnel fries were ok as well, would probably have been better with the other toppings they had to offer as well instead of just plain powdered sugar. I'll give it another try next time! Bring a glove too just in case!

Love coming here! Always a good time. Some days waiting in line can get crazy, everyone's hungry and missing the game haha. As long as the Grizzlies win! Every time we come for a game in our section someone is either catching the ball or our section wins a prize! Awesome place to enjoy your day and bring the kids out to watch the game.

Had a fantastic time at the Taco Throwdown 14! With so many people attending this event, it was pretty organized. Staff check-in attendees pretty quickly and efficiently. *also please don't bring your tri-pod or had held recorder like go-pros. They will not let you in with it. There were a lot of participating taco truck this year 2025. Lines do get long for each taco truck, because there are so many people there. They made it easy for you to vote for your favorite taco truck with a scannable QR code for each truck. Above the arena where you can walk around, they have multiple vendors selling merchandise, goods, cigar, beers etc. The ladies restroom could get a little more attention since they are heavily used. Often times with little to no toilet paper. Overall, I thought the experience was super fun. I got to try 8 different taco trucks by the end of the night and saw Baby Bash and E40 at this event.

Very thankful to have received free tickets for taco throwdown entrance! This was my 3rd time attending to this event. Check-in was quick but for some reason the wand was beeping on me and had nothing on me, in which the staff kept waving the wand up and down. There was about 24 taco trucks I believe. Plus the micheladas and salsa contest. I was only able to try 2 trucks which the first one taco macho was 10/10 worth the wait. You have to have a plan to try and taste as many taco trucks that you can because the lines are huge. I tried to micheladas and they were both good, a bit watered down but good. The performances were good as they portrayed all generations! One thing that I was upset about was the women bathrooms....I know when people drink they may get tipsy and using the bathroom a lot but these stalls were terrible. I feel bad for the staff that had to clean them. I'm glad Fresno continues to do events like this though!

Recently attended Taco Truck Throw Down! My thoughts on the park- I first have to start with saying the park really was on top of security. We were all wanded with a metal detector and they had a clear bag policy. The event was held on the field and they put down flooring on top of the field which was really nice. The concert stage was located in center field and trucks were positions around the perimeter of the field. The bathrooms could definitely use more attention throughout the event but overall they weren't the worst. My thoughts on the event- Honestly it's a great concept. Lots of tacos and some friendly competition. You do need to wear comfy shoes and prepare to wait in some very long lines. I will say some of the competitors handled their lines very swiftly. I don't think you could hit every truck even if you tried just because of the wait times. There was one truck in particular that was trying to trade votes for entry into a raffle which was entirely ridiculous in my opinion. I do have to mention Harry's Mex Grill as being my absolute favorite of the 7 trucks I tried. They earned my vote and I can't wait to find them out at other event! Overall, I think this is an event everyone has to try once! I highly recommend purchasing the VIP tickets because they're a great value. Overall, a huge shoutout to Chukchansi park and Fresno street eats for putting on a huge community event year after year!

We went to the Toy Story themed night last night and it was really fun and themed really well for the younger kids. Parking was a little crazy with all the people. They said over 12,000 people were in attendance and they sold out so parking issues are expected. We will definitely be coming back for more themed nights. I added the photos of the food & drink prices at the main concession stand the Flashpoint Grill. Just so people have an idea where prices start. My only complaint is my son wanted a personal pizza and they advertised they had Me-N-Ed's Pizza but it definitely was not Me-N-Ed's they need to change that. But other than that it was a fun Friday night option for families.

Worth the hype! These are legit sno-cones!

If you're not taking advantage of this awesome little minor-league baseball park in our own backyard, you're missing out! I took the family here for a Bluey meet and greet and to watch the Fresno Grizzlies opening weekend games. My son loved Bluey and my daughter almost had a panic attack, but it was totally worth it. lol. Chukchansi Park is pretty solid for a minor league park. They have all the baseball food and beverage classics along with an area for food trucks to park and sell their goods. I love that there's an opportunity for small and local businesses to get in on the baseball crowd action. This is my kids first time at Chukchansi Park so I purchased the cheapest seats possible ($5 each) just in case they wanted to leave within the first 20-minutes of the game. We ended up staying in the covered Jalisco outdoor bar area with a perfect view of left field and the visiting teams warm-up pitching area. The game was a little slow, but my kids still had a good time. My one issue were the long lines everywhere! I feel like they might have understaffed the park, possibly expecting a smaller turnout on a Sunday afternoon. The place was packed because, duh, Bluey was there so you'd think they'd be ready for a large swath of families descending on the park. Beyond that one issue, I will definitely be back with the family, but will most likely buy better seats. As we were leaving and got closer to the action, my kids were way more invested when they could hear the ball hit the glove and the crack of the bat.

This is my second time attending taco truck throw down at Chukchansi Park. As usual, it was packed and crowded with people that want to eat tacos, have some beers or mixed drinks, enjoy live music or just hang out and enjoy the vibes. This event is as crowded as I've seen Chukchansi Park, long lines for alcohol, long lines for girls to use the restrooms, long lines for taco trucks and almost the entire field and good portion of the stands covered with people. It's still enjoyable if you go with a solid group and have patience. E-40 was the headliner and that's mainly what I went for. I love tacos but usually wait for the top 3 event winners are and try their tacos on a regular day without the long lines and crowd. Overall another awesome and successful event for everyone.

What a wonderful event! Thanks to Yelp CM Nate, we all got GA tickets for the Taco Truck Throwdown 14. People were friendly and were giving away their taco vouchers. There was so many trucks to choose from we just chose roulette style. We somehow managed to get into VIP Area of concert and danced the night away when E40 came out. It ended right at midnight and all the stadium lights were on. Same goes for most places, they turn on all the lights to have people scatter home. There were a bunch of bacon wrapped hotdog stands all around waiting for people to want something besides tacos lol

One of my favorite places in Fresno! Chukchansi Park is always a vibe. Whether you're there for baseball, fireworks, or just to hang with friends, it's the perfect spot for a summer night. The views are great, parking is easy, and the energy is always fun (even if the crowd isn't as packed as it used to be). The staff is always super friendly and helpful, and the setup makes it easy to grab food, drinks, and still catch the game. Now if we could just bring back Thirsty Thursdays... Because nothing hits like beer and baseball with the crew.

Was a great venue tonight for Taco Truck Throw down but what is up with the bathrooms? The one set of women's restrooms had no running water so toilets weren't flushing my wife said. The men's restrooms why so many sinks without water. Tonight was the most people I've ever seen at Chukchansi Park and to see the bathrooms so dysfunctional is a disappointment.

THANK YOU YELP & NATE FOR THESE TACO THROW DOWN TICKETS for 2025!!! I was so excited because it was my first time attending! I took my bf with me and went with the gang. lol we had soooo much fun that night!! Even got to go to the VIP Section where we got to be closer to E-40!!! Sadly we only got to visit one taco truck because everywhere the lines was soooo busy! Tacos Tepa was the truck and I was not disappointed! The asada tasted good and the adobada. I drenched mine in sauce cus I love hot sauce! We got to sit on the bleachers and enjoy the food and the performances. Then after walked around and ran into a bunch of friends. The restrooms were disgusting. Needed refills on toilet paper and also I saw a red lip print on the ground like some one kissed the restroom stall floor! Fuckin sick!!! When we got in the VIP section we got to see Baby Bash and E-40 up close! We was dancing and singing.. omg such a vibe!! I had so much fun that night! Would love to do it again!!! I appreciate you YELP/NATE! Tysm for this great first time experience

I'm a huge Disney Fan and my daughter is my mini Disney Fan in the making and enjoys watching both Frozen and Encanto so I felt it was the perfect opportunity to go. Bought tickets via ticket master a month in advance and got lounge seats. The day of the event we arrived about 30-45 mins prior to the 7pm show. Traffic was light to moderate and we parked in their parking garage $25 per vehicle. Prior to attending the event I looked at their policy on what was permitted in the arena. It stated that bags are subject to be checked and no outside food/drink allowed. So I only brought a small bag with my daughter's necessities. Security was a bit unorganized they tell use to keep moving through the metal detectors but then tells us to stop randomly like completely it was strange and holding up the line for no reason and I felt they didn't do a great job they didn't even search our bag and many others. When we got our tickets scanned we decided to get some food to snack on. As expected food was over priced and not good. We ordered a hot dog meal (drinks and chips included), pretzel ($2 extra charge for cheese dip), churro and candy ($6). We spent a alittle over $30 for food and it definitely was not worth it. The pretzel and churro was hard and dry. The lady on the concession stand was nice but think she was getting confused with our orders. I had to correct her on one of the items she was trying to charge us with. They also have souvenirs I got my daughter an Olaf cup that came with shaved ice and it was $25. After getting our food we were looking for our seats which was an even number section. Apparently we had entered on the odd number side seat and so we walked to see if we could go around but it was a dead and we saw a worker and asked for directions but he wasn't clear he told us we would have to go around... ummm obviously but he wasn't specific enough. If we left and went outside the building they might have re-scan our tickets it just didn't make sense. So I just decided to enter the odd side seat entrance and go from there. Ended up seeing our seat section number and decided to walk straight across the arena rather than walking around which would have been a further distance. The seats were also confusing as the Section names were not visibly labeled. We ended up sitting in the wrong section and then got help to find our right seats. The lounge area was really comfortable there was a table infront of us and the leather seats were a bit worn out and tearing but they were really comfortable and cup holders were also accessible. I thought they were the perfect seats with a great view. I loved that there were so many restrooms near by and they were clean. Overall the show it self was amazing my toddler, my husband and I had a great time. Customer service and security might need alittle work. And perhaps a little upgrade on the torn seats. But I would return for another event.

We aren't huge baseball fans but live games are fun and the buffet and A/C at the Kodiak club on the second floor is a treat. With work schedules, this was our first game of the season and it was so disappointing. First, we were "late" arriving at 5:30 which we could have sworn was the normal time the club opens for evening games. Apparently doors opened earlier because there was no line at the gate and no tables left when we got upstairs. Huge bummer to have to eat outside in the stands. At least there's shade! It was Italian night with spaghetti and meatballs, chicken parmigiana, eggplant, gnocchi, Caesar salad, Waldorf salad and a salad bar to make your own. Everything was delicious. There was also a station with really tasty smash burgers. However, they only brought out 6 at a time and didn't tell anyone that was the hold up. That was really annoying. They also added pretzel bites that you could have with the nacho cheese sauce for the nachos. They still had hot dogs but Unfortunately, they didn't have the chili for the hot dogs. The other big change in the Kodiak club was desserts were not put out with the other food. Rather there were little signs saying they would be put out at the 4th inning. Annoying but ok. At the start of the 4th I saw a worker with a tray of cannolis going to the burger station so I followed her. Usually you serve yourself but she was handing people one cannoli. I asked for one for my husband. The worker calls out to the worker next to her and says I want two. He takes the longest pause and then just holds up two fingers. What the hell?? The cannolis tasted chalky so that was a waste. Then people start crowding around the dessert table. Another worker came out with a big multi stand food carrier. She unwraps the plastic wrap around it and asks that people wait until she is done putting out all of the plates before taking any. Ok no problem. But by the time she's done there's a lot of people and it's a little chaotic. As she leaves she tells the two other workers that it's like this every time. If you create a chaotic scene, what do you expect? The reason I gave three stars is the tasty food and the game itself! We love to watch our local team - even when they don't win haha I like the entertainment between plays. The upper section where we sit is usually full which adds to the fun vibe. I will always support the Fresno Grizzlies
