I said ok, this was for the protection of your customers and staff but if there is going to be a fee I'll come in the answer was a simple "OK". 10 minutes passed and I received a call explaining they would be unable to do the treatment today because of covid and would be unable to do the treatment for 3 weeks. Very uneducated and unprofessional approach to something that should just be standard practice in today's terms. Isolation is 5 days or until you have a negative test. Not 21 days. It's sad that I have to write such a negative review on what was actually a good experience. But the lack of knowledge on basic things would make me question the overall sanitary side of things. And why for me, I'll have to look elsewhere.

Before the treatment started, I informed the consultant that I had returned from holiday the previous week. She advised that, for safety reasons, it would be better to wait another two weeks before having the treatment. I appreciated the advice and agreed to postpone the session. The consultant and reception staff told me that rescheduling would be straightforward and advised me to contact the Hello customer service team. However, when I did, I was told that I could not reschedule my appointment and would have to pay for another session. This policy had never been communicated to me in my booking confirmation, reminder emails, or over the phone. To make matters worse, my appointment was marked as a "no-show/cancelled", even though I attended on time and was assessed by the consultant. When I called customer service to explain what had happened, the representative was rude and eventually hung up on me. In the end, Therapie Clinic took my payment, did not provide the treatment, refused to reschedule my appointment, and refused to issue a refund. I was left paying for a service I never received, despite following the advice given by their own consultant. The entire experience was handled with a very low standard of customer service and professionalism. The lack of communication, inconsistent information, and unwillingness to resolve the issue fairly have completely undermined my trust in Therapie Clinic. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend them based on my experience.

The therapist who looked after me was lovely and chatty and I got the impression she knew what she was doing. An enzyme peel was applied to my skin, followed by the dermabrasion which is like a small hoover that hoovers up all the dead skin revealing a more youthful and glowing layer of skin. At least that's the idea. After the 'hoover', a soothing mask was applied and some SPF. I was really happy with my treatment and I will return for their special offer of 3 for 150Euro soon.

I'm very pleased with the results since the first weeks, and I'm seeing a good reduction of hair, about 80% (ofc this has also to do with the fact that I'm "lucky", in the sense that I'm the perfect candidate for laser, having pale skin and dark hair). This salon has been open for little over a year now. It's an airy and pleasant space, decorated in white and lime-green tones. The private rooms upstairs are clean and always neat and tidy when you get there. Appointments are usually on time - I've had to wait for 15mins once, but that was it - and there's a very pleasant waiting room with coffee and tea. I'm no newbie to laser, my first course was done about 7 years ago, back in Portugal, and I know what to expect. After a not-so-great-experience here in Dublin, I decided to try Havana - I live nearby and I'd seen it open recently -, so I picked up a voucher from Groupon. I liked the first consultations so much I bought an additional treatment on top of that, since they were able to offer good value. It's part of their business model, happy clients will be more willing to make additional purchases, and retaining clients with offers is better than losing them to competitors. The only downside I can think of is the fact that the girls working here can sometimes be a bit pushy with sales, regularly presenting you new products or offers on treatments. But other than that, they are very nice and professional, and, more importantly, they are ready to answer your questions and explain what is being done and why. I'd recommend it, I like the equipment used and the way they do things here, it all feels safe, pleasant and clean. After every appointment you give them feedback on your experience that day, particularly regarding pain, and they keep all this information on your file so they can use it on your next treatment. The person doing the laser treatment didn't even have the courtesy of leaving the room while I got dressed and again mentioned that I should buy more session WHILE I WAS GETTING DRESSED! They also kept pushing me to buy all these unnecessary creams claiming that they are "protective" for anyone getting laser treatment. The products didn't make the slightest difference. When I stopped going and sent a complaint, all I got was another employee making excuses and not wanting to deal with the situation properly.
