I moved out of the Azure Apartments several months ago... Here is what I have to say. This management company will leave you with NOTHING!!! If you care about your hard earned money do not live here. They will nickel and dime you. Lived here for 2 years and somehow they thought it was reasonable to take a huge chunk of our security deposit. They charged us $160 dollars for a door repair which I had put in multiple service request during the time we lived there. They came to fix it with bondo filler a month prior to us moving out and still charged us with repair fees. We tried disputing this with the management company and they still found us at fault. They also deducted $495 dollars for fridge repairs. Which by the way we never had a brand new refrigerator to begin with. They gave us a used fridge which over the duration of 2 years was already starting to give out. Not sure how that doesn't count as normal wear and tear but again the management company is using OUR MONEY to fund a new fridge. On top of that, they charged us a $200 dollar late fee on rent when the landlord, Philandria said it was ok to deduct the rent from our security with no mention of a late fee. The management did reimburse us for this late fee. Only after reaching out to them multiple times over 2 WEEKS after they sent us the initial check. While the unit we lived in was nice and spacious... Don't let the pictures fool you. This place looks quite luxurious in the professional photos on the website but this place is nothing fancy. They only come to clean the entire build about once a week which is clearly not enough since residents do not pick up after themselves. Also the landscaping only gets done about once a month so if you want to take your pet out front the grass gets pretty tall and ratty. For the amount you pay here in rent you would think they can afford to have regular landscaping. Nope, there is dog feces in the grass that doesn't get picked up for weeks. At times service request would go many many days without a response (lack or urgency). Also walls were so thin you can hear stomping upstairs all day and all night. so if you live on the first or second level you're screwed. You'll hear everythinggggg. Additionally your car is not safe in the gated parking structure. Our friend parked in the structure and found that her car had been keyed. I reached out to the landlord multiple times to see footage and get to the bottom of it but we received no response. When I called Philandria (landlord) she said was that it was on her "to-do list" and she would get back to me. never did. as you can tell there was no urgency. I hope that people think twice before renting here. With the way the economy is and how difficult some places make it to be a renter... It's companies like the one that runs this complex that really like to take advantage of people. Side note- by the time we moved out they wanted to raise the rent on us again.... In two years they raised it over $600 dollars over what we paid when we first signed the lease. When they put the apartment back up for lease it was going lower than what they had wanted to charge us. read more

WORST APARTMENT IN THE VALLEY! I have such a huge list of complaints for this place it's unbelievable. To make it quick I'll list everything wrong with this sorry excuse for an apartment. -COCKROACHES EVERYWHERE(along with no fix to the issue by management. Whoever they contract to do the extermination should be fired) -ABSOLUTELY 0 STREET PARKING(neighbors double park in order to save themselves a spot for later) -BAD HOMELESS PROBLEM TAKING UP ALL USABLE STREET PARKING ON PARTHENIA -WALLS AND CEILINGS THINNER THAN PAPER SO YOU HEAR EVERYTHING YOUR NEIGHBORS DO(accompanied by inconsiderate neighbors who blast loud music and have an actual treadmill in the unit directly above us which shakes our entire unit) -AN ELEVATOR THAT BREAKS DOWN MULTIPLE TIMES A WEEK(recently the elevator stopped working for over a month) -MANAGEMENT THAT NEVER RESPONDS TO ANY COMPLAINTS -THEFT IN THE LOCKED GARAGE (once put my bike against the wall tucked away hidden by my car. Literally put the bike there at 11pm and came out at 6am to see it stolen. Of course management didn't bother to help) - COMMUNITY WASHING MACHINES/DRYERS THAT DO NOT WORK AND LEAVE YOUR CLOTHES SOAKING WET If I were to get into detail on all of these topics then I would be writing an essay. It's truly unbelievable how bad one place can be. Oh and if you want to mention anything to the manager, good luck finding them because they are only there a couple hours a week and won't respond to any forms of contact. Also when I first moved in, I went to the top of one of the stairways and found trash all over the place, empty marijuana capsules, and human feces. No joke, a homeless person was living at the top of the stairway. How can a place let this happen? Please don't be deceived by the somewhat remodeled appearance you'll see when you tour the units. I genuinely thought I found a great apartment when I first moved in but all these things made me grow to hate it. It's sad because the unit itself is honestly nice but has nothing else going for it. read more

Worst place to possibly live. Property management is incompetent and careless. The building is dirty and poorly managed. If something is broken, it will be months before they fix it, if ever. The elevator hasn't worked properly since I moved in. I've complained about the broken elevator for months and they get angry at me because they don't know how to fix it. My car has been broken into multiple times inside the parking garage. Save yourself the trouble and don't move here. read more

Very grateful for the Azure apartments. Just moved in with my husband and its the perfect space for newlyweds. Very modern and quaint. Love the neighbors; they are all very friendly. Only downside is the parking which is quite common for the LA area so we expected it. read more

This is the WORST apartment I have ever lived in. The place is infested with roaches and the walls are so thin I can hear every tv show being played from my neighbors. My neighbors upstairs are SOOOO loud AND THEY STOMP SO MUCH and I've constantly called the front desk to complain and they've never picked up and when they do reach back to you it's a a matter of 2 business days. They also never respond to their email and they have a new manager running the complex every few months. Then parking is terrible. Maintenance takes FOEVER to respond and the elevator is broke every 2 day. This complex is a disaster. DO NOT MOVE HERE . read more

This apartment is a scam. The management is the most ridiculous I've ever experienced. We didn't receive water bills for 6 months and told them every month then were given a notice that we were behind in water bills and needed to pay them all immediately or we would be evicted. Still didn't receive statements consistently after that. They never have any answers as to why our unit wasn't receiving statements but they knew how much we were behind. One month the manager texted us asking us to pay the balance online THAT night when we don't even use the online payment service. They had no record of the balances we paid. This was an ongoing battle until after we moved out. They switched property managers 3 times in one year, each time the new manager had no idea what was going on nor had any answers and was impossible to get a hold of. Still, to this day, they dodge my calls concerning our final bills. There are 3 washers and 3 dryers (when all of them work) between 3 floors of units and its not even 24 hours. The management company was switched halfway through our lease, that new company is impossible to get a hold of and no information online for them, so you're stuck trying to talk to whichever clueless manager they have at the time. Yes, the apartments are spacious and beautiful, but this place is a serious scam they take your money and don't tell you where it went and claim they never got it. They don't know how to do basic transactions and keep track of what you paid and what you owe, they just hit you with late notices. Do not live here unless you like being ripped off. read more

For the short time I've been here the place really handled well in terms of my expectations. The walls are a really nice shade of blue and I like that its blue and not something basic like white or brown. So this place POPS for sure in a good way of course. The place is clean and so are the amenities which is nice. For the people that complain about how "dirty" it is come on. Who do you think leaves garbage and stuff laying around on the floor. The neighbors across the street? No! Its the people that live here and their friends. Treat the property like your home and you wont have to deal with garbage. About management. They are 5/5 in my book. They respond to me and notify me about my particular needs. They do very well on the things they do and the things they can control. No complaints here. read more

This is a fantastic place to live. It is a newer building for the area and the units are surprisingly huge. The fixtures, appliances and finishes are really nice, and the community is small and quiet. The common areas are clean and I loved the gym and roof terrace. It is a great location and I always felt safe. Highly recommend! read more

Friendly and Comfortable for Kids No noise,the Security is so good, They Have a the latest equipment for the Gym and it 24hrs ... . I Live my car Open sometime Nothing Happens to my property ..if you call for an emergency they attend to you in just 2 mins..We all Live there with love and peace ....The Manger (Suzy) is so Nice, friendly, Understanding and Accommodating. l move because I need a Bigger space and nothing Available in the apartment as at the time I need it. read more

These apartments are beautiful, very comfortable place to live in. They are quiet which was a plus for me after moving from Van Nuys which isn't very nice and it certainly isn't paradise.. nothing bad to say about these Apartments they are kept in tip top shape, they have a gym with all the latest equipment so say goodbye to your gym membership... and start saving those $40 a month plus they have a laundry room which is very convenient and you can load your cards through a website.. the only thing that would make this above and beyond would be a pool but that's okay. Brianna was a great manager as well, she always met our needs. Overall this is a place to call home. read more

Pros: - granite top counters and stainless steel appliances (LOVED THIS!!!!) - high ceilings - nice size bathroom - nice size bedroom - Loved the walk in closet - Gym was always quiet and I never saw anyone when I used it - The apartment was somewhat excluded so we didn't have to share a wall with anyone - The common area was right next to our apartment so it felt like a personal patio for us - Close to grocery stores, shopping mall, freeways - LOVED the wood flooring - They allow pets :) and it was no problem for them to accept our German Shepherd, in fact we were told by management that because our dog was so quiet, it's as if she never even lived there Cons: - too much noise outside made it impossible to sleep - The fences surrounding the building were WAY TOO low so people could easily hop them. And there were GIANT garage size openings on the side which made it easy for outsiders to enter the parking lot - With random people coming into the building, they would check all the cars/steal cars (within the first month of living there, a car was stolen right out of the parking lot, and management didn't want to do anything about it at first until they were threatened with the cops and a lawsuit) - Couldn't live normally because our neighbor below us complained multiple times about hearing us, when we were NEVER loud - Constantly feeling unsafe walking outside my door, taking my dog for a walk down the street, praying no one would try to break into my apartment. (I have a big German Shepherd, but I still did not feel 100% safe) - strangers learning/remembering the entrance code to the front door so you had random people walking around (and you always knew they didn't live there because of how they acted) - Endless amount of sketchy people walking around outside scoping out the apartment buildings/cars - The trashy people that end up living there (fighting/screaming/making way too much noise in general) ( I had two residents give my husband and I attitude and dirty looks, every time we walked by them, whether it be with our dog or by ourselves. And when it was with our dog, there dogs would bark and growl uncontrollably at us, which would follow with a dirty look) Frankly most of the people that we encountered were rude assholes. We met only a few residents that were amazing and felt the same way we did about issues - The area in the back of the building was for your dog to use the bathroom, but of course you had SHITTY LAZY people that would NEVER pick up their dogs mess which would cause a terrible smell - If you wanted an extra parking space, you had to pay for it monthly - Laundry was on 1st floor, so it was a hassle to carry whole loads of laundry up and down the stairs/elevator. There were many occasions of people having their stuff stolen or leaving their laundry in the washer/dryer for DAYS - Bathroom fan would automatically turn on every 30 min which became VERY annoying, even when you weren't in or near the bathroom - People using the driveway leading into our parking structure as parking so you had to drive around them or call and wait for it to be towed - Barely any street parking, but you have better luck with it during the day - It's located right next to the aqueduct so their were a lot of roaches - You get a nice view of RV's parked all up and down the street which also adds to the lack of street parking Clearly this place has A LOT more cons than pros, and the fact that the price for a 1 bedroom went from $1325 to over $1700 for 643 sq ft and have all of the above happen is complete bullshit and not worth the money read more

I enjoyed living at the Azure Apartments. It is a very quiet apartment building. The building is nice and very clean with good-sized updated units. The manager is very nice and helpful! There is also an easy online payment system, gym, sundeck, and pets are allowed. I also haven't had any security issues. Unfortunately, there is limited parking, no pool, a community laundry room, and many times it is takes a while for maintenance to fix things. Overall, I have not had nearly as many issues as other people have complained about at other apartment buildings. I would recommend the Azure Apartments. read more
