The courteous young man behind the counter, Felipe, kindly redirected me. But, I used to sell an Açaí juice health drink, so I was very curious about the store. Turns out that they make smoothies, fruity bowls, etc., with an Açaí purée and fresh fruits, nuts. I could not pass this opportunity up! I ordered two medium-sized smoothies--for $7 you get to add three-four ingredients. I added coconut flakes, chocolate dips (chips), Nutella, and blueberries. Oh, so delicious, healthy, and just sweet enough! My 14-year-old grandson and I each had one with our pizza and we even used spoons to get the last of the mixture out of the cups. Not to be missed! The not so good: About a quarter of the cup wasn't full and another two inches was the foam from the juicing process. For an expensive juice that costs as much as a meal I'd expect to get the full 16oz. When I entered the business there were two ladies who looked to be friends of the worker sitting at the front desk crowding the pick up area. I completely understand when business is slow that the worker might have friends visiting but they should be seated at the table and chairs. Overall, I probably wouldn't visit again and would end up at my usual spots.
