    BRUNCH BURGER and BELGIAN WAFFLE
    Ivan Ismael G.

Great spot to go in for breakfast or brunch food was delicious and the prices are very reasonable, if you are trying to get away from the "franchise" breakfast spots this is one to definitely try. Server was great and attentive with a chill atmosphere.

This is my first time at the San Jose location and it was amazing! The staff was very kind and super informative about the menu. I got the Hendricks burger and this was the best burger I have had in a long time. The goat cheese and Dijon had the perfect tang. Its the first burger I didn't need mayo and that's saying something! The blackened grouper was cooked perfectly and my friend loved it. Definitely coming back for dinner to try more options. This was the lunch menu

Was here for brunch over the weekend and I met say I did not enjoy my meal. At least not the steak. I asked for it medium and it was medium well. The steak was dry and pretty tough to chew. The potatoes could've been a bit more flavorful, the garlic overpowered them. I must say our waiter though was very attentive at all times

Stopped in for happy hour this week. They have a really great happy hour! The tuna nachos & zucchini fries were both really tasty (zucchini needed a bit of salt). Interesting cocktail selection. Friendly, attentive service. Easy parking. Will be returning!

We came here for a lunch lunch and was not disappointed. I ordered a steak because why not. It was good. My husband got the burger and he liked it. The espressotini was good but very creamy. The inside decor and vibe is cute. Bartender was super friendly.

What a fabulous place from the staff to the ambience to the food! We made a reservation for a Thursday at 6 pm. Seated immediately upon arrival and waters brought to the table. My husband ordered Mango Heat which was very tasty. Not too sweet not too spicy. For an appetizer we had the Burrata. Nice sized with pesto and bread. We arrived before 6 pm so our server made sure to tell us that happy hour prices were still in effect. App and drink were half price! For dinner my husband ordered the Short Rib Rigatoni. He raved about it. I had creamy lemon linguine with chicken. So creamy! So flavorful! We both brought home leftovers. Great meal and under $100 including tip.

Great local gem! Good food and great service. If you love wine, visit on Wednesday where bottles of wine are half off.

It was great. But the eggs were cold. Like really cold. Service was decent. Ambiance is a nice casual. You can sit inside or out. Why were the eggs cold on my Mom's egg Benedict and the deluxe toast? That was weird. Overall ok.

Really loved our recent brunch here with the family! The food is delicious and not overly pricey - so many options for everyone. I loved the gumby's bowl, and my group also ordered the hurricane plate and side Caesar, with fries. Everything was plentiful and great! My cappuccino was perfect and even came with pumpkin art in microfoam, a fun seasonal surprise. The ambience is closer to something you might find in Boston- a little dark but brick walls and cozy atmosphere. We had reservations but were able to seat ourselves. It was very casual and easy - just good food in a comfortable setting. There is a parking lot out front too which was helpful. Our waiter was super nice and helpful. Would definitely go back!

Food was fantastic as always! Atmosphere is great. Really enjoy the salads. Every sandwich and brunch item top tier!

I'm a sucker for breakfast, it truly is the most important meal of the day. This cozy spot not far from downtown Jax was perfect for a pre-game breakfast stop! I had the Belgian waffle with a side of bacon, my breakfast pals both had the chicken and waffles. I'm not a coffee drinker, literally ever, but one got a latte and the other just drip coffee and both had good reviews upon tasting. Great spot!

Omg for my first experience definitely will be back. Went for a quick girls lunch. The food was delicious I had the shrimp n grits with veggies it was seasoned and shrimp are cooked perfectly. The gravy was demand should be available on other items. My friend got the waffle and home fries the smells of cinnamon are indescribable. We will definitely be back to try some of the other items like the veggie melt and all the sandwiches I saw. The environment was warm and clean. They even had artwork of artist for sale.

When we walked in, we saw a huge table of senior citizens, maybe about 20-30! We decided to stay. There was only one Bartender and one Waitress. The place was packed. We sat by the window seats-that was all that was left to sit at. The Waitress was very attentive(even though she was slammed). Today's special was shrimp baskets. Shrimp could be cooked three ways. I chose fried w/onion rings(fresh-not frozen rings) & and a 50/50 tea. My meal was delicious. Laura had blackened shrimp w/broccoli. We both enjoyed our meals and had a great conversation. I had $40.00 cash on me and Laura had a card to treat me, but the internet and card machine had just gone down. So I paid for the meal and tip. Laura Cash App'd me $40.00. Right away our server greeted us and answered all our questions about the menu. I was having trouble deciding on a Sauvignon Blanc and he brought me some samples to choose from. For my entree I went with the Seared Scallops. I went with the larger order of and I'm glad because the they were not as large as we thought. They were good, but I was expecting them to be not as chewy as they were. We ended a brownie that had popcorn on it. We really wanted the cheesecake, but they were out. The brownie was good just the popcorn may throw you off if texture is important to you. It was warm and gooey yummy. Overall a wonderful spot to visit and they also have patio seating.

They greeted me as soon as I walked in, asked the right questions, and made me feel welcome. However, there was a young man who was incredibly rude. The first thing he said to me was, "What are you picking up?" I responded, "Let's start with a hello. How are you?" Instead of acknowledging that, he simply repeated the same question. At that point, I walked over to the ladies, who were extremely kind and helpful. Now, onto the food. I'm genuinely not trying to let my customer service experience influence my opinion, but I have to be honest--the food was pathetic. It lacked seasoning and flavor. Even after adding the salt and pepper packets that came with the utensils, it only made a slight difference. Unfortunately, nothing about the meal would make me want to come back. Even my one-year-old refused to eat it, which meant we had to spend even more money to get food somewhere else. The one highlight was the biscuit. I believe it was homemade, and it was genuinely delicious--probably the best part of the meal. Aside from that, I can't recommend the food based on my experience.

The sandwich was super juicy and packed with flavor -- the sauce and that tangy pickle taste really made it stand out. The staff stayed attentive the whole time and kept checking in. The brisket was quite dry, and the mac and cheese seemed like it had been sitting for a while and had hardened. The baked beans had a very strong onion flavor that made them difficult to eat, and the toast just tasted like plain bread without any garlic or seasoning. Overall, it was disappointing considering the price of the meal. I only managed a few bites of the sides and one slice of brisket. My parents ended up taking most of it home for their dog since we couldn't finish it. It was especially disappointing because we've used Mojo's for catering before and had a great experience, so eating in felt like a completely different quality level.
