The inventory here appears to be larger than that at the East Brunswick or South Plainfield locations. There is a slight department-store feel, since the space is so enormous and is divided into sections for children on the right and adults on the left. The first thing I noticed were kid costumes for Naruto, Bleach, Fortnite, Legend of Zelda, and Avatar Last Airbender--which are all popular albeit noticeably dated franchises. There was a large light-up set display in the back and another one in the front whose purpose I could not ascertain. Selfie stations, maybe? The adult costume selection is far less interesting, but I saw some costume sets for Coraline, Harry Potter, and Hanna-Barbera characters. If this store had newly licensed costumes from 2021 or later, I certainly couldn't find any. There are also about two racks' worth of basic makeup products and accessories by the far side of the store closest to the parking lot. It's nice to see this old, empty, depressing space being used for something festive since Sears closed in spring of 2020. Will plan to be back on November 1st. Nick was great to work with he is knowledgeable, courteous, professional with a great sense of humor he took his time and he gave me a very personalized service. I opted to have it cut, attach a hood, shorten the sleeves, move the hooks, add a button and he made 2 headbands for my daughters with the leftover fur. The cost for all the work he did was very reasonable. I am kind of picky and I wasn't too sure about how the coat would look at the end however when I saw the finish work I was so happy and speechless, the coat was perfect!!! I will definitely remain a customer even if the store location is a little far from me it's worth it, he has some beautiful coats and great accessories as well!

They did not have the dress said they could not order it and it would be impossible to get. Well, if you know me, that answer does not work! So we go to ultimate fashions. Alison described the dress and Laura and Bianca from the store looked through every single one of their books and then online to find the dress. After about two hours of searching our description, they found it!! They got it ordered and it came in today! Thank you for your diligence and drive to find this dress with no designer information or tag to give a clue as to where to start. She finally found a dress she loves!

Not only are there fewer registers to service the different departments but the recently added self checkout machines don't even work most of the time. There are also fewer price check stations, and the mens shoe dept is in desperate need of some TLC because boxes of shoes are mismatched and disorganized. The one saving grace for Macys that keeps me coming back is their Star Rewards program. They do a great job of offering deals at 15%-25% off regular priced and sale merchandise and even sent me an extra 30% off coupon for my birthday, and when I get to redeem my Star Rewards points it's like cashing in on even deeper savings.
