Preferred Quality worked with the insurance company and MULTIPLE other contractors to get my job completed. They set up the removal and reinstallation of solar panels. It was done on the day they said. After the removal, the roof was done in ONE DAY. My home is over 4,000 sq feet so this was a large job. Gutter contractor came as they promised and gutters were installed with one day. All debris was cleaned up. Roof and gutters look great and make the home a lot more attractive. Definitely recommend them for a quality job with very little effort on the homeowners part.

Our agent gave me 3 companies, and we don't live in the area so everything is done via phone call, emails etc. One company never called back. Second quoted a ridiculously high price over the phone after asking about square footage and type of house. I made an appointment for the third company to see and quote, who then called back 2 hours later saying the manager/owner would charge $250 for the visit because we are selling the house, which makes no business sense. I found Hasi's company on my own. Hasi answered the phone himself and said this clean-up would not be cheap but shouldn't cost more than a few thousand dollars. After visiting the house (no charge), he gave a bid of ~$2300. He sent photos with his detailed quote that stated how many days the clean-up would take and the type of cleanup and equipment he would use. During and after the cleanup, he sent photos. His initial bid photos included his van in front of our house as visual proof he actually went. Payment and invoice were electronic, so it's easy to view and take care of. Sometime during the project, he mentioned he does a lot of property security (eg boarding up and re-keying vacant houses) for a big real estate company I actually knew about and couple of my real estate friends had worked there. Hearing this gave me additional assurance that Hasi was reputable. Hasi's communication, quality work, and reasonable price really helped out my family.

We asked this company to paint a couple of rooms, tile a bathroom, and fix some water spots. He was able to have his crew come out and start work within a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, it went downhill from there. The crew used the cheapest possible plastic tarps over our carpet. They didn't stay down, and as a result, there is paint on carpets throughout the room. They didn't put tarps down at all in the other rooms, and left paint on the hardwood floor in our foyer. There are several places (like around electrical sockets) where they completely failed to paint. The crew also tried to simply paint over the water spots rather than actually repair them as had been agreed. I pointed out these issues to Mr Joseph on our walkthrough. He assured me that he would be back the following week to fix them himself. From that point forward, the excuses began to flow in and he has never shown up to remedy any of the issues (despite providing new dates along the way). After our initial meeting, I had high hopes for Home Pro Remodeling. After this experience, I would recommend finding someone else to do any work in your home or business.

They painted the entire inside of the house, updated the flooring throughout, updated the main bathroom, and uplifted the fireplace. I am pleased and satisfied with their work. Hope State Roofing's professionalism was beyond reproach; I am located in another state from where the work was being done, and I was never worried about them in the house; when a issue did arise, Carlos sent pictures and called me immediately to discuss resolution options--true professionals in my book. Carlos and his staff even went over and beyond to assist me with picking up the material on my behalf. In addition, he provided recommendations on paint color and flooring options that would best suit the home for resale value. Hope State Roofing's services were excellent, and the open communication channels helped create an easy working relationship between them and me. Given the size of the job, I appreciate the amount of consideration for being as cost-effective and timely as completing the project (two weeks just before the Christmas holiday). The quality of their work was superb. I highly recommend them. If I have another project in Georgia, I will hire them again and recommend them to my friends and family. They are among the most highly organized and professional contract companies I have ever dealt with.

My wife and I needed to get our master bedroom and master bathroom remodeled. We wanted new tile…read morein the bathroom, new carpet in the bedroom, and both rooms painted. Because I feared getting paint on the carpet, I decided to do the tile first, followed by the painting, followed by the carpet. My concern was that the new carpet might end up with paint on it if we painted after the new carpet was installed. KDL Painting did a fantastic job and I now have no concerns that they would have messed up the carpet. In fact, they were the heroes of my renovation and still overcame the setbacks caused by the carpet installation crew. My wife attempted to get a quote from three different companies on Angie's List. One company that advertised no job was too small never even responded after the initial conversation despite two attempts of ours to follow-up. KDL Painting provided a quote, and so did a third company although it took the third company several days longer than they were supposed to. Despite the third company's quote being a little less than KDL Painting's quote, the third company's quote had very little detail. It didn't mention how many coats of paint they would do. It didn't mention if they would paint the trim. It didn't mention which of us provided any materials. I didn't feel confident that they and I were on the same page because there were so many unresolved questions in my mind. Couple that with how long it took to even get that quote combined with KDL Painting's quote that answered nearly all my questions and made me confident that we were on the same page, and the decision to go with KDL Painting was easy. Ask any painter and they all tell you the same thing; the preparation is the key. They all claim to do good prep. But they just don't. Kevin at KDL Painting told me they would sand the walls? Never heard of a painter doing that. Of course they would caulk everything. Sure they would! I knew this was going to go well though within about the first ten minutes when I spotted Kevin removing a light switch wallplate I had forgotten to remove in a closet. He had no idea I was watching but proceeded to prepare the way I would want my house to be prepared. After he removed the wallplate, he did something astonishing. He used a tool to scrape off that little ridge of paint around the edge of where the wallplate had been. You know, that ridge of paint left by the previous painter that was too lazy to remove the wallplate. Imagine my surprise when I checked in later to discover them actually sanding the walls. No kidding! They even have a tool for it. The previous paint job was sloppy making their job even more difficult due to the change in paint color. But they found a way to make the walls look great despite having to cover a completely contrasting paint that sometimes lived in places they weren't even supposed to paint. They caulked, they sanded, they painted. And when they were done, that part of my house looked like a new house! They made it look easy, but I know better. Our master bedroom has a speaker mounted in the wall that had yellowed over time. The rest of the room looked so good, I hated to leave it that way. Kevin was more than happy to paint it for me. To prevent brush marks on the plastic speaker bezel, Kevin was going to spray paint it. While we discussed my concern over spray paint landing on the speaker cone, one of his crew took the speaker and removed the plastic bezel from the physical speaker to prevent any concern I had, and then took the bezel outside to paint. This is fantastic because it shows that not only does Kevin have high standards and a desire to please his customer, so does his crew. KDL Painting saved the day in two other ways as well. First, the tile job installers wouldn't paint the new quarter round they installed and they didn't bother to let me know that in advance. Fortunately, KDL took care of that for me. And the carpet installation crew? Even after pointing out multiple times that the walls had just been painted and to please be careful, they managed to scuff paint off multiple places and chip some moulding. Contractors hate having to come back to the job site after they feel like they have finished. KDL Painting was extremely accommodating about that when they came back for a couple things I wanted and took care of the carpet installation damages for me too! In just a couple weeks, KDL Painting proved to me that I can trust them. They completed the job within the timeframe they said they would. That's something that neither the tile or carpet crew managed to do. They didn't damage any of the tile or carpet work. I can't tell you how good it feels to find a contractor you know you can trust. KDL Painting was a real asset during our renovation and really felt like more of a partner than a contractor. This all brings me to the most important question, would I hire them again? You can count on it.

Workmanship has been very high quality and they won't try to sell you what you don't need. They took care to protect my landscaping during the replacement and actually left my yard looking better than it did when they arrived. Even though my house is small, I couldn't believe how fast they had my roof done! Communication was excellent - no surprises at all. Every single person from the owner to the cleanup crew was kind, conscientious, polite, and grateful. My roof was not an insurance claim, if it matters (but they work with the insurance folks if it is). 10/10 would recommend.
