Failed to completely/successfully complete the entire job and it's nearly twenty-one months later…read more Too, they were to rebuild from the ground up, didn't. They left the rotten, moldy, damaged floors in our home despite being paid to replace all the flooring in our home. The tubs they replaced are much smaller than what we had forcing us to be rubbing elbows with the walls while in the tub/shower. They damage the tub in the master bathroom and the one downstairs and failed to repair it as promised. They used very cheap wood when replacing our supposed to be new fence and they already splitting from top to bottom. The support slacks appear to be bulging out and splitting from top too bottom. The wood on the fence all way around the yard is bending up/outward from ground towards the neighbors yard/fence. The master bedroom is freezing as though it has no insulation and/or its vents are not connected. Several trimmings in the floor boards appear to be old/worn out and not replaced (new) though they were paid to replace them. Exterior Doors, locks, and casings not replaced (new) despite they were paid to replace them all. Hot water tank has a piece missing seen as a building code violation. Flooring upstairs and downstairs are rotten, moldy, caving/sinking, warped, has several noticeable burn spots, etc. The exterior landscaping was not replaced (they threw black garbage bags down, two additional (different from the original fat rocks) types (both are different colors and sizes) of rocks, dead flowers nearly placed beneath and or any kind of way; added a dead highlight tree imitating a Chinese maple tree - a total eyesore. They damaged our backyard by poring the concrete in it and/or adding wood pieces in it. They failed to replace the splitting concrete beneath back porch deck. Left nails sticking out if the exterior siding and didn't properly close siding areas. Didn't replace railings in home despite paid for, damaged neighbors fence and failed to repair, our daughter ended up a victim of identity theft after our home was released to them to discard all of our belonging/property following our house fire, etc.

Drew was very polite, knowledgable and helpful. The mason did an excellent job rebuilding our brick…read moremailbox.

I got a prompt reply from someone named Chad, which was promising since he was so quick to respond and let me know that he could call me on Monday to discuss (this was a Friday) or I could call their office. I thanked him for his quick response, gave him my contact information, and told him I looked forward to hearing from him on Monday. Well, Monday came and went and I heard nothing from anyone, so I called the number that was listed in his reply and left a voicemail asking for a call back to schedule an estimate or discuss further. It has now been more than a month and I still haven't heard from this company. If they are this bad at communicating from the start, I would not have high hopes for actually working with them. I was disappointed since the Yelp reviews were promising. I'm glad that others have had better experiences with Knoble Engineering and was hoping I would be able to add to their positive reviews, but unfortunately that was not the case. I don't feel it makes sense for me to chase someone that I am trying to give my business to. Luckily, I found another engineer for my project that has been far more responsive.

Their second look inspection on my potential home purchased help identify a fair amount of issue that allowed for a significant price reduction on the home. They did an outstanding detailed job and explained everything very plainly. I would highly recommend them for any inspection needs or structural engineering design/support.

After reading some of the reviews, I was honestly a little hesitant--but I'm so glad I trusted my…read moreown experience. I didn't just have a good experience with Paul Davis Restoration, I had a great one. As a first-time homeowner, dealing with a kitchen flood caused by a pipe was extremely stressful. I had no idea what steps to take, and I felt overwhelmed. Thankfully, Kiyah, the person in charge, was incredible. He took the time to walk me through every step of the process, which really helped calm my nerves. The crew was efficient and professional. They removed all the water and took out the damaged materials, including carpets and flooring, and thoroughly dried and dehumidified the house. Throughout everything, Kiyah kept me updated daily on what to expect next, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Having this company step in and take control of the situation truly alleviated so much of my stress. I would definitely recommend giving them a try--don't let the negative reviews discourage you. I'm really happy I chose them.

During the initial visits, Paul Davis appears to be helpful and caring, but please don't let this…read morefool you. They hire sub contractors that do not make sure the work is done professionally. A supervisor rarely visits the property site to ensure the work is being completed correctly. When someone is contacted about jobs that were messily completed, they are labeled as "difficult." I know this because one of their contractors told me that they get a lot of complaints about jobs, and the customers are then referred to as "difficult." They will damage your home while repairing it. I had to have my floors replaced, which was almost 30k, after Paul Davis finished working inside of my house. While they are working inside of your home, they place their tools on countertops and in sink bowls, which scratch the surfaces. They become upset when you mention the issues. The work in your driveway and on the lawn and leave their messes. The left spots in my driveway that i had just paid thousands to replace. The very day that I noticed the huge spots/stains, I sent them photos and asked what the residue was, and I got no response, but someone did attempt to pressure wash the stains, but the stains/spots would not come up. The stains are still in my driveway. They simply said we have pressure washed the driveway, and we are not going to keep going back and forth about the driveway. The paint job on my walls, trim, and baseboards is TERRIBLE. I will have to pay someone to at least paint the trim correctly because it's peeling and it looks like areas were not painted. I have photos of how my kitchen cabinets initially looked until I pointed out issues, but pointing out issues gets you labeled as "difficult." The worst part of all to me was when Paul Davis's unpacking crew returned my furniture and personal items to the house after my house was ready for me to move back in. Well, they told me they only have one day to unpack all of the boxes and put everything back in drawers, closets, cabinets, etc because they're booked all of the following week. They didn't get to my house until after lunch time because they called to tell me they're going eat lunch before they arrive, which was fine, but by 7 pm, they were burnt out from moving heavy all wood furniture and heavy boxes. So, they left tons of boxes unpacked, and rooms were left in a mess. I found linen in the closet with shoes, toys in my master bedroom drawers, electronics in closets, with the shoes, etc. I worked 2 months to sort through things. Now, I'm noticing that things are missing, and again I'm being labeled as " difficult." I wish there was a place for me to upload photos. You'd see that I'm not exaggerating! My experience has been extremely hurtful! Also, my living room buffet was returned w/o the legs. I didn't notice until after they had left. The manager initially told me they'd pay to replace my 100% solid wood. He said, "Now make sure you get what's compatible to yours. I can't recall the exact words, but when I sent him the cost of mine with at least 5 to 7 buffets similar to mine, he firmly told me I'd have to talk to the manager because they can have the legs made. They're not paying for a buffet because have the kegs mage would be more cost effective for them. The legs were ordered from Amazon, and they paid a furniture repairman to put them on. Also, my brand new European oak floors were badly scratched when my furniture was moved back in. I can tell where the repairs were done, but the repair guy was awesome. He did his best. But, now tge floors are lifting where the repairs were made. I'm sure I'll have to use my extra boxes to repair the floor, and I only have 3 boxes of wood left. I bought the extra boxes to have in the far future for "just in case." If you can avoid these issue, why have to deal with what I've gone through. I'd like to save you the trouble. This has been a long journey. I'd advise you to work with a company that understands what you're going through and one that appreciates your business and wants to do right by you! Many of the problems were corrected, but why should I have had to complain to have the problems corrected?
