But, there were timeline issues that delayed things, and there was a supervisor who introduced himself at the start of the job - but seemed absent after that. I had to make a few corrections to the build as it was happening because it didn't seem like everyone on the team knew the plan. I will add that Nieko was attentive. When I couldn't get the supervisor on the job I did reach out and share some concerns with Nieko and he made sure they were taken care of. In the end, we are happy with the fence - and that's the litmus test in my book. It simply seemed like there were some organizational and leadership things that were being worked out. Would I hire them again - yep. However, I would probably work hard to make sure Nieko was involved as much as possible.

This would have put the time frame around late September. In the meantime they demanded the down payment right away and it was paid to them. September came and went and they had not contacted me. I placed several calls and they told me I would have to talk to Jake. After several calls Jake never called. October came and went as I tried contacting them again. It was the same story with the same result. Only when I demanded my down payment back that I got a call. He told me that the new time frame would be within the first two weeks of November. Well...Same story, same results. They are not calling me back and I fear that we are going into winter where the job cannot be done. I am to the point of calling the BBB as well as Kent County if I cannot get my down payment back. This is fraud if they insist on keeping my money for services never rendered. I am so through with them.

Nate came out to give us a quote, and quickly expanded the scope of what they would "need" to do. The quote was separated into two sections, as per conversation with Nate: (1) need to do before winter to stop leaking and limit damage already incurred, and (2) improvements that we could make in the spring. We agreed to part #1 in October, to include work on the flashing around our chimney, the single most important piece of the work required. Over a month went by and I heard nothing until the third time I reached out for an update, at which point I was assured the work had been done - no photos, no notice they were on my property, the only evidence that they'd been on my property was pieces of scaffolding they left behind in my yard. In January, on my first trip to the home since work had been "done", I was able to see very obviously from the ground the work had not been completed as described. I emailed with photo evidence of internal water damage and flashing clearly protruding, completely unconnected to the chimney. I did not hear back for over a month. When they finally got back to me, they claimed the flashing - the single most important part of the work that I was repeatedly assured would be part of the work completed - was not, in fact, included the $4,000 bill. They provided (finally) photos of other work that had been done. After multiple days of back and forth, I was offered $200 off to apparently make up for being lied to and the internal damage done to my house for them not doing the work they swore up and down they'd do before the winter set in. Thanks for nothing, you clowns.

We worked with Dana who during this part was great. The workers who came to do the actual work were great and worked so hard. They worked on a Saturday. There was some challenges in communicating about finishing the project. The screen door was left untouched. We were told that Premier would be in touch and they were the next week. We were told that they were unsure why the door was not put on. Dana came out and asked for payment which we honored however in hindsight we should have asked to wait to pay the balanced as the work was not completed. We wonder if we had done this if Premier might have worked harder to complete our project!? We received the run around for weeks. Someone came out to put the new door on and found the door missing parts and a part broken. Then it was several more weeks before it was finished all and all from the last day of work until it was completed on 1/9/25. It was nearly eight weeks to complete the project. We were not fully informed of the final time someone came out. Still then it was discovered that there was more work to be done. Again, the quality of work was great. The communication and taking full responsibility was very much lacking. We asked for a new door as that was what we paid for and were given a response about if a part was missing on a car we would not recieve a new car. However, we paid for the new door. Patti D

Had them quote us for attic insulation. Guy said certain things needed to be done so we were like…read moreokay. He said one of our lights was a fire hazard, which frankly scared us, then said his guys could fix it (for a price!). Then he said the spray-on foam insulation in the basement would be practically free because we would get $850 in rebates from our gas and electric company. We did the smart thing and got another quote. THAT guy said most of those things didn't need to be done, our light was NOT a fire hazard and was completely up to code, and that the rebates from the utility companies would be $175. His quote was about a thousand less than VerWys's. When we called the VerWys guy again to see what he'd say, he backpedalled so hard he was going lightyears in reverse! Knocked off 2 grand from the initial quote, but we'd heard enough. Not gonna do business with a guy who tries to take us for a ride by pulling numbers out of his @$$.

Brent arrived at the home prior to our appointment time and had already started the inspection to not waste the time we had. My husband walked through the entire inspection with him. We both asked tons of questions. Brent was patient and explained everything to both of us. Our realtor was amazed at the amount of time he spent inspecting the home inside and out. This was even more impressive to us because of the holiday. He never seemed rushed. This is not our first home purchase and we know what inspections are like by others in the industry. They cannot even compare to Brent. His professionalism and attention to all details are unmatched. His explanations helped both of us to understand everything about our future home. His report and all of the photos were key in renegotiating the price of the home to allow us to fix the major issues he found. The report will be invaluable in providing us with a list of everything to take care of and when we need to address it. The information he adds to the report explains what we need to know to decide if it is something we can do on our own or if we will need to hire someone. Not just looking from the ground but got up on each one! He was courteous, understanding of our unique situation and very professional.
