After several years of renovating our house, we were ready for the fun part - decorating. We were searching for 2 side tables and a coffee table with minimalist, modern, sleek lines to complement an Eichler house. We went to several showrooms, and found the perfect pieces at B+B Italia. Desmond was wonderful to work with - knowledgeable, never any pressure. We took the two side tables with us, and ordered the coffee table, which would need to be manufactured in Italy and delivered during the last week in June. This was in February 2020, just before the world shut down for coronavirus. Oh no! Lest you think this story is going to go off the rails, it has a happy ending. Between the time we ordered and received the table (3-4 months), Hannah kept us very well informed every step of the way. The factory had shut down in March-May due to the coronavirus, but when they reopened, they worked 24/7 to catch up with orders. Guess what was delivered the last week of June, as promised? Our coffee table! "The last mile" was handled by the Tramo Group. They have been in business for 40 years and offer white glove service to deliver high end furniture. They were thoroughly professional. They put on masks and booties to come into the house, they securely assembled the base + top, made sure we were satisfied after we inspected the piece (it was perfect), and were very pleasant. We were quoted a delivery estimate at the time we purchased the furniture - and the actual delivery charge was 30% less! When does that ever happen? Quite reasonable, really. This experience was 5-star for sure. We hope to return to B+B Italia to select some additional pieces as we decorate additional rooms. They made the whole process fun. read more

When you make a big purchase like a sofa or a chaise it can be a little overwhelming because it is not always easy to visualize your home from the showroom. Desmond was the designer who help me with selecting the right piece for my small condo. I bought a beautiful couch there in february, 2020. The shopping experience was fun and thrilling. it was custom made in Italy and supposed to arrive in April but due to Covid, stuff got weird. Customer service and particularly Hannah B, were extremely attentive, although there wasn't much that could be done about the delay. Once the couch arrived we secured it and got it home. It's now installed in our house and we love it. There was some small damage that occurred during transport and the company replaced a piece without any issue at all. Beautiful showroom that has most of the B&B collection on display. I was there over a weekend with my dog (carried her) and wasn't pestered by sales people or completely ignored. A good balance and was even encouraged to come back with my pup. Compared to Dzine the showroom is less artistry, more functional. Sales people more attentive and down to earth. Tips: -Tina helped us and she was fantastic. Extremely helpful and kind. -Street parking is ample. There are meters in front or free parking across the street, in front of the jewelry center. -They have a sale in early October and that usually coincides with floor sample sales. read more

Since B&B's production facility is in Italy and the product ships via ocean freight, questions arise. Both Eileen and Hannah worked together to get us any information that we needed. After installation we realized that some shelf pins had inadvertently been thrown away. The ordered us replacement parts and when they arrived, Eileen personally delivered them to my clients home and helped make certain that they were installed correctly.
