DO NOT BUY AN AFTER MARKET FOB. I bought a replacement FOB for my Volkswagen and it stopped working after 8 months (2 months after the warranty). They tried to fix it and couldn't but wouldn't refund my money. They should have explained the risk of buying aftermarket FOBs before purchasing. I needed a combination lock installed on a metal gate. The size of the lock prevented the use of a commercially available lock. B&B came and cut the gate and installed the new handle and lock. In the process, they carefully welded the design elements back onto the gate and even found matching spray paint so that the installation looks like the original gate. The finished product is gorgeous. The meticulous care they exhibited throughout the job is something that has sadly become very rare, in my experience of hiring people. Lost both keys to our Bimmer and could not start or drive it. Got a few quotes these guys were in line with the rest. Bimmers are not cheap but I am sure their service was less than the dealer. and faster. No rush so we scheduled an appointment a day later. They arrived on time. Professional and polite got the job done all is good now, recommended. Update two weeks later the key fob stopped working. Alex suggested it was the battery so we replaced it but still didnt work. Turned out the battery we had on hand was also bad so after buying another one it finally worked. Downgraded from 5 stars to 4 stars for the hassle of having been given a fob with an oid-bad battery. My thumb latch didn't work anymore so decided to replace the door handle instead of trying to fix it. Since I was going to replace the door handle, I decided to add a security lock, and a video doorbell. It was easy to schedule an appointment and Matthew came on a Saturday to do the work. It took a few hours to complete the work and he went over everything and made sure everything worked the way it was suppose to. It took awhile since technology can be temperamental and software updates, but Matthew was very chill and patient making sure all was working. I felt bad as I didn't want to hold him up but he waited and just made sure. All in all, a very good experience. We moved into our current home about 2 years ago. We decided to rekey the existing 4 locks and replace the front door lock with their "Mul T" high security lock. I forgot the model but it was their standard model. I think the total cost was around $500 which is a bit much but I think it was the going rate and I suspect it has become more expensive.
