No calculating (printing I was told was 15 cents or something, not gonna make a round number). Taken aback I say, "$20?!" Yeah, for printing and "labor." Like he just made me a brick wall or something. He took forever and a Tuesday to do all this. Molasses moves quicker. And his partner, whom I consulted with originally, said scanning would be $1 to "set up," whatever that means. Still a far, far cry from $7.50 or whatever per freaking scan (it's NOT by page, because you know, labor and all). When I called her on it she said, "Well that's his business. I do collectibles." He gave me a whopping discount down to $14 and change. These folks don't know what they're doing. Arbitrary pricing is a terrible business practice. Please improve. Will literally be driving to the nearest Office Depot in Denver before using these guys again. What a joke. Edit: Interesting copypasta response. I was told it would be "very expensive" ($8), that it wouldn't be ready for at least an hour, and that they had lots of other customers and orders in front of me. When I politely expressed that it felt like they didn't want to help me so I'd figure it out somewhere else, they became defensive about how I'm not their only customer (one other person had walked in at this point, 2 staff were working). Anyways, the guy at Epic Print Pros down the street did it on their label maker for free in less than 5 minutes while I got to pet the shop dog, Kora. Take your business to Epic Print instead, they'll keep it easy and kind.

That epic fail occurred on Wednesday 9/20; our event was Saturday 9/22 and we needed those cards! On a Thursday 9/21/17, I called every printer in Winter Park and the surrounding area; without exception, every one of them told me that they couldn't get cards done in 24hrs; "couldn't be done; maybe in Denver". My last call was answered, as were our prayers, by Steffan; at McConnel Printing. I had my cards in my hand that VERY SAME DAY! They saved our bacon by doing in less then 8hrs what their "competition" couldn't do in 4 days. Oh and did I mention at half the price? The rest of the "printers" in Winter Park should either A) take a lesson or B) find a new line of work; maybe Steffan's hiring.....
