They do sprinklers right! I can't believe how many sprinklers I have seen around town that spray the house, cars and sidewalks.

I've used B&B Sprinklers for years and I'm very satisfied! They do book up fast during the busy months for turn on and turn off so just make sure to call ahead. There is usually only one person working the phones during the day, so if they don't answer I just leave a voicemail and they call me back right away. Just keep in mind review is based on almost a decade of doing business or whatever they call it nowadays with them. The lady in the office was never particularly pleasant to deal with it is like if she resides the wrong side of Poky where they feel some pride for having a chip on a shoulder like being rude to customers or crotchety to neighbors is cute or something. Even my wife preferred me to call them after one year lady at the office replied to her angrily that before they get to our request they'd have to service their good established customers and we were using them almost 5 years by then. Do they mostly cater to members of same club or saloon? At least Mike had the propriety and calm demeanor. Decent person even working at the warehouse can figure out how to treat other human beings with decency. First 2-3 years with them were Ok, then older gentleman retired and it was more or less about almost begging them to bless us with their presence to open water in spring and to winterize pipes in fall. There was not much precision last time I will show pictures 30% of water feeds weeds in the alley or the concrete walkway. There is a blind dry spot by the shed. There were holes by replaced sprinklers I had to cover with soil and grass seeds. My breaking point was when their guy removed my good expensive sprinkler heads able to spray water up to 45 ft and replaced them with cheap ones barely having 36 ft range. He even used some cheap adapters to make them fit. So at first after I talked to Mike and he refused to even give me back my property he removed from my back yard without being authorized to do so I try to call grumpy lady asks me to hold. I told her I prefer call back another time she insists I hold then screams at me I should not dare to interrupt her when I try to get a word in edgewise? I know you are not into attracting new customers, but also sincerely hope you will lose most of the remaining ones. Conversation was witnessed by some family members and we all agreed to find another sprinkler guy the same day. Figuring how to turn on water is not a science requires a pair of hands and a special key and before winter one also needs a powerful compressor, which are although not a part of most normal households are not that hard to find. Treating customers like crap is not cool and neither is removing property without authorization from the back yard. But hey what do I know? Next time, you know, they would refer to it as running organization wisely, ethically and safely. At least Mike was pretty good natured and polite. Dear lady, you can surely screech your head off, I do not have any desire to witness it. Good luck to them and good riddance. P.P.S. Fast forward half a year and I found a local guy from AF who does exactly the same just with more attention to details thus better and even cheaper. Very happy I made this switch wish we hadn't waited for so long to do it. See, living in a rural area we often forget what's the most important. One owes loyalty to a spouse, a country but not to particular brand or corporation. But they are still here, they still do it somehow are not valid excuses for tolerating the unacceptable actions and attitudes. read more

First, I left a message in a Saturday for a call back. I received a call 1st thing Monday where we scheduled an appointment for later in the week. They then called the next day to say they could come even sooner. Yay! The tech arrived promptly and spent the next 2 hours fixing an adjusting our system. He took time to educate me on all he had done and what we needed to do. Our lawn is greener than ever since his visit! We could nit be even more pleased! I have used them before and was great . today was not so great called to confirm what I had needed done and they said we can only be there for 1 hour Fuck these guys I called someone and the gonna to it at once and 10 an hour cheaper. They tend to be in high demand, so sometimes we've had a bit of a wait, but they also try to fit you in on cancellations. I have read the past reviews and am surprised because I have had nothing but a great experience. I had them come out originally to help me locate a valve box that was buried by the previous owner and to "tune" my sprinkler heads and fix any that were bad. It wasn't a small job as my yard is almost 2 acres of grass with 12 Stations and at least 6 sprinkler heads per station. Given all that, their technician was able to locate and shutoff the valve that was no longer needed (down to 11 stations). In addition, he replaced several bad heads and adjusted all the rest. The result was outstanding. Flashforward to this year. I did have to wait a couple of weeks for them to come out but it was on me because I had to wait to call them until after some excavation work was completed. I needed them to reconnect the busted line, replace the broken head that the excavator damaged and install a new 12 station controller. The technician that came out was here most of the morning repairing the line, installing the new controller, setting up the controller run times/days, check all the heads after starting up the system. I was extremely happy with what he had done. Before he left, he walked me through the new controller and showed me the pertinent features. Very thorough, professional and left everything cleaned up. Since I had never had anyone start my system up before, he asked if I wanted to get on their Startup/Shutdown list. Of course I signed up! This way I don't have to worry about closing out the system as they will shut it down and blow out the lines so I won't worry about freezing lines (I have been very lucky that this hasn't happened to me!). Same goes for Spring startup next year. Lastly, I decided I wanted the Wifi module added to my new controller. They came out last week (same tech) and installed the controller. After being unable to get the controller to connect to my home wifi, he contacted K-Rain customer support. It turns out that the unit that they had gotten from a local supplier unfortunately wasn't the latest version so K-Rain is sending out the latest model directly to me. Even though I wasn't able to get the module to work, it wasn't for lack of trying on the tech's part! He stayed here and never once complained about the time being spent. I really appreciated this. He also went over what I needed to know for when the replacement module arrives so I would be able to get going. I don't know what happened 3 years ago but I am here to tell you this Company is stellar! I look forward to many more years with them taking care of my sprinkler system! Jim H read more

B & B seems to have good reviews, but WOW. I called about having our sprinkling system revamped and updated. The lady who answered the phone told me "we're not interested in new customers". OK, hope this housing increase stays. Everything cycles, not wise to cut your nose off to spite your face. read more

Had patience with our many questions, answered them, and still kept working. Would highly recommend B&B. My elderly mother, 83, a recent former customer of 10+ years, concerned her pipes would freeze called prior this year's early October freeze and was told they were too busy she would need to wait until the 25th. She called again a few days later as she was concerned and was told they were too busy, as everyone wanted their sprinklers turned off. Due to her sprinklers not shut off, her pipes froze and created a flood. I live out of state, and drove up to clean up the flood and turn off her sprinklers. She called B and B the next day to let them know she had frozen pipes and had a flood as a result their not coming out to turn off her sprinklers. She told them I turned off the system and shut the water off. B and B should up 4 days later to shut her sprinklers off and billed her for the work, which I already did. When I called to inquire why and to inform them we were not paying for this, the lady who answered seemed rattled, too old to work and needed to go to Charm School. She was rude and abrupt! Rule number one in business, CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. Rule number two IF CUSTOMER IS WRONG, SEE RULE NUMBER ONE. The company does not know how to provide customer service. I received a called from the owner or manager later that day and he obvious was not concerned about the lack of professionalism of his company, but used expletives towards me and then said he was a "prick" WOW! I am surprised how any idiot can open a business. My recommendations is stay away. There must be other companies who demonstrate compassion to assist an elderly lady, and other customers with mutual concerns. We have moved on and I suggest you do as well. read more
