And talking inside with the bouncers, we were told that this company is notorius for pulling stuff like this. Bottom line, DON'T use this company.

First, the website to book doesn't work on iPhones, and you should use your computer. We've had two crazy experiences with this company but this last one was a major doozy. Their process is, once the proposed reservation is booked, they accept it and send you confirmations, and even after that, almost everyday you'll get an email confirming your booking. You'd think this was reassuring? We have two people on an account so we both were getting emails and texts confirming the booking. Reassuring. You'd think. The day of our reservation arrives and it's to get to JFK. The time for the car to arrive comes and goes. Reminder: This after actual text conversations back and forth reconfirming the booking as well as all those emails. So we text in that morning and the person says, oh you cancelled 3 weeks ago. I mean, how?! How did we cancel 3 weeks ago when you have been sending daily confirmation reminders as well as having text reconfirmations to confirm the date and time and the booking was made well after June 6th. Again, we have had at least 10 emails and texts confirming conversations since that debacle of our first request for a car back on June 6. Texts and calls back and forth that they are wrong finally got us a driver to the house 2 hours late! Initial flight missed at this point. We had to change flight reservations and make alternate plans for arrival. It was stressful. Beyond stressful. We are still holding out in good faith for them tho. We need to get to get to JFK and really giving them so much benefit of the doubt at this point. 40 mins to arrival promised. An hour later... the driver calls, who is supposed to be a professional driver, and she is somewhere parked who knows where trying to find the house. She's had the address and has CarPlay (as she rolls up finally I see she has her phone, so assumed she's using CarPlay or Google Maps) but parked and waiting at a totally different address. Again, another sign. But we need to get to the airport and are feeling like, beggars can't be choosers, just get us there! However, we really were just questioning this whole experience at this point and how this company is still in business. The driver finally pulls up, and it's obvious she isn't a driver, she's got a sun hat on and not dressed like "car drivers" are typically dressed and put together. I open the trunk and there is a wheelchair back there... I don't even know what to say to this. Except that she is now unable to help with luggage, clearly. And even more so, it has been validated that this is not a professional car service driver and seems to be a friend who has been asked to do a favor for the company. As she's on her phone, I'm assuming, googling a route to JFK, I say to my wife, make sure she doesn't drive off with your luggage when you arrive. The drive to the airport was pretty traumatic too. The driver was not experienced and clearly nervous the whole way, jerking the wheel and braking every time someone passed her. At JFK she didn't know where to pull over and allow for a safe exit and she really did almost drive off with my wife's luggage had my wife not banged on the car for her to stop! She was taking off before my wife even had a chance to get to the trunk. It was insanity. Later that evening, 6:52pm, I kid you not, we both get texts saying, your driver is on the way, with a notice saying, their late policy goes into effect after 15 minutes of waiting. Is this a joke? Then an hour later we get a text saying the trip has ended and they hope we had a pleasant and comfortable ride. Oh, we had a ride...that was insane and we can't recommend this company based on our experience. They need an administrative overhaul. Communication in excess doesn't mean good communication. A website that works on phones. Our driver was NOT a professional driver. They rolled up in their own car and were not dressed professionally, as well as their car not being set up for taking a customer to a busy airport. Not to mention, the driver was unable to provide a basic driver service of placing luggage in the trunk.

True to his word, we booked the car in the morning and he gave me a very competitive rate. Didn't tack on last minute fees. Done, texted confirmation number. Gave me name of my driver, Allison, who touched base 5 min later with her cell number. Super prompt, funny and friendly, riding with Allison was a pleasure. A key thing to note: take your cues from the client. She didn't start chatting until I did. I'm from New Orleans and work in the hospitality industry there, handling conventions with 10,000-30,000 in attendance. I book about 250 private car service for clients a year. There are a few key things that are expected from a private car service that are unbendable: reliability, communication, cleanliness and polite manners in drivers, who understand it's not about them it's about the client. Likewise from a client: tip the driver and tip in cash. If you get good service, show it by tipping more than 20% of the fare. The large window in the dining room allowed us to see the multitude of birds that visited the bird feeder. We were fortunate to have wonderful breakfast companions with interesting and sometimes deep conversation. The relaxed atmosphere of the inn made that possible. We would definitely stay there again should the opportunity arise.

The folks at the front desk were super helpful and kind throughout my stay. What lovely people they have working here. The lobby is chic and lovely and the restaurant looked upscale as well. My room was on the fourth floor and had a lovely view of the lush green fields and trees below. It has a king bed which was very comfortable throughout my stay. It also had a nice little kitchenette with a closer to full size fridge than you normally get in hotels. It als had a small seating area with a sofa and desk. Both of which came in handy for hotel working. It was clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay (including Starbucks coffee and Coffee-mate liquid creamer in the room!). Get to it!

Bobby is Awesome! He is completely reliable. My son goes to college in Poughkeepsie and Bobby drives him, to and from the airport in White Plains. He has been doing this, on and off for three years, most of the time on short notice. My son often flies on standby and we are never certain he will get on the flight. Bobby is ALWAYS willing, even when given short notice, to go pick him up. He often has to go pick him up at 3 am, to make his flight. Bobby has even waited for thirty minutes at his dorm and called me when my son apparently overslept. Who does this?! Bobby certainly did. I was amazed! Bobby is the "real deal!" I even called the Poughkeepsie Chamber of Commerce and let them know what a gem they have in B and B Taxi. Bobby responds to any message that I send, within minutes...no matter the time of day. We live in Kansas and I always feel good knowing that Bobby is the one transporting my son. Bobby is a genuinely good guy! You won't go wrong with him. read more

When we questioned him he said his mini van was not in working condition and suggested that we pile in and have two people sit in the front. We said that's not safe and decided to get in and scrunch into the back seat with 5 in the back 3-seater and one friend sat in the front. The driver asked for my friend in the passenger seat to route him using her phone, he repeatedly answered his cell phone as he was driving, and mid way through the rude told us we would actually need to pay an additional $1.75 for the toll to go over the Hudson. We said no, we wouldn't be paying the toll because we were already riding in unsafe conditions and we're not in the vehicle that we were quoted for. He laughed and told us to calm down. While on the bridge he joked that since we were actually closer to the restaurant than he thought, he should have only charged us $20.... My friend in the passenger seat answered back that yet we should only be paying $20 and he responded that he was only job king and we should learn to take a joke, he said well you can get out of the car if you want, you could jump off the bridge if you want. When we said that was an inappropriate thing to say, he said he was joking and the world is a crazy place. At this point my girlfriends and I made eye contact and agreed that we needed to just stay silent until getting home because we had no idea what this guy was capable of. We were scared for our lives in a very real way. He made a few more last.minute turns without signaling, speeding and driving recklessly before dropping us off and almost backing the car into us when we got out. I urge that no one ever call this company for a ride. It seemed that this man was taking all calls and coordinating all rides. Stay safe out there.
