Finally they said it was likely packed with someone else's clothes, and that I should wait a few weeks to see if it turned up. They never apologized. B&C has been sold and the new owners as of 1/03/23 provide not customer service. The cleaning process left a pair of men's slacks with a split. B&C refused to take any action to correct the split. I loved the old owners whos were straight up helpful, not this crowd. I am done with B&C. read more

The owners and workers here are fantastic, hardworking, experts. My husband had a pretty stubborn stain on the chest of one of his suit and they had it looking brand new. They took care of our dress coats that have been in storage for two years. One weekend, we stupidly forgot that they close earlier on Saturdays and the gentleman there insisted my husband come pick up his suit anyway since he was still doing some work. I'm starting to think there aren't any decent cleaners in or around Greenville. I chose this place based on the reviews and it's proximity to my work. Dropped 5 items off last Tuesday, was told Thursday pick up. My dress had a light stain and I asked if they needed to mark it, she said no. I also brought a blouse that needed a new zipper. They told me they send out for alterations and when I asked how much to replace, was told $15. I thought that was a bit high but agreed since the shirt was worth at least double that. Came by on Friday to pick items up. My dress had spots all over it still. Was told they already ran it twice but would try again. Was also told the altered shirt came in but was not available to be picked up. Called Tuesday to see if the items were ready, I came by to pick up. Thankfully the spots were finally removed from the dress. Went to pay for my altered shirt....it was $29. I could have almost replaced my shirt for that price and frankly was not pleased. How does the cost double?? I made a comment as the cashier was the same one who I had worked with previously. Said this is a lot more than I expected from what you told me. She replied "oh well it can be anywhere from $15 and up." Had I know it was going to be 30 for a new zipper I never would have agreed for them to fix it. We went there first when we were ready to through away water stained linen drapes..5 days later... new drapes only we picked them up from B&C. We started using B & C Cleaners when they were located on Augusta Street in 1975, 43 years ago. I knew Tyler's daddy, saw Tyler's son in his bassinet, and now see him as a grown man. This is truly a family business, with a sense of pride in the quality of the work and service, that is rarely seen today. I have given Tyler clothes that I thought would be impossible to clean, and he has come through, working his magic. THANK YOU B&C!! Just a note for B&C and Customer Krystal. Not all stains will come out period. It's definitely not a take away from the Greatest Cleaners in Greenville County!! In fact after all these years I drive my clothes down from N. Spartanburg. I have much faith in their work. Other cleaners are famous for leaving lint on clothes even when you lent them yourself before you drop them off and they still come back covered in lint but never at B&C! It's a fact of life not all stains will come out and B&C will tell you that, yet I've seen them move some tough stubborn stains. They have different chemicals they use for different types of fabrics. The products are a science in themselves but using the wrong product to remove a stain can damage an item even more. I've tried to use many other cleaners over the years but end up driving back to B&C cause others can't compare with their exceptional service!!!! They been in business over 50 years! Perhaps you should give them another try!! Keep in mind not all stains can be removed. If you've left there and tried another cleaners it's likely they wouldn't be able to remove the stain neither. Would you give them a bad rating too or just except finally that some things are a fact of life and some businesses don't deserve unwarranted bad reviews. B&C's great reputation isn't tarnished by a bad review and if you would become a regular customer chances are you'd be extremely satisfied too just like so many people. It's Hard to find a cleaners that's kept the same Families as customers for decades but B&C is that Dry Cleaners!!!! Logical people do know that everyone can never all be pleased. Highly recommend!! I bought a bridesmaid dress second-hand off eBay and when it came it had a stain right on the chest! The seller claimed they didn't know it was there, and they only wore it one time...in 2012!! The stain had been sitting there for 4 years. I thought it was a lost cause but took it by anyway. I had the BEST experience here! They did an amazing job cleaning my wedding dress and the price was exceptional. After calling around to many of the cleaners in the area, they were by far the most affordable. The gentleman who cleaned the gown went over the final product with me and it was clear he paid attention to the details. I had my infant child with me and he kindly carried the gown to my car. I'm having the dress made into my daughter's dedication gown, and he even offered to press it when it was finished. This is a great business that takes pride in their work! I will be back! read more

We had a custom made wedding dress from the Philippines for my Filipino bride. She had it made in the Philippines and during the transport in her luggage to here in USA the dress got wrinkled and had a few spots (stains) on it. I searched Angie's List as well as Yelp for a good dry cleaner and found few with good reviews. I took this dress to B&C Cleaners hoping the few reviews were accurate. When I arrived the gentleman working with me took the time to personally inspect the dress and what we might be up against. It appears the dress was a rush job in being made as we found seams not completed (holes in areas where it should have been stitched), found a needle and thread still attached where they did not finish sewing the dress to remove knot the end of seam (in the breast area, sure glad he found this as it could have been painful if stabbed when putting it on) as well as an inner liner made of weaved paper to fluff out the dress. All these area put the gentleman in great concern the dress would he ruined if we did a regular dry cleaning as it was just a couple of days before the wedding. He agreed to hand clean the spots as best as he could and press the dress. His concern also was as most wedding dresses have tags listing the materials it is made of as well as cleaning suggestions, which this had none. He was able to get the dress cleaned and pressed in 2 days and when I picked up the dress he showed me the spots he was NOT able to clean. Now most places I feel would not have showed you the spots not cleaned and just left it up to you to find them later, but he was honest and upfront with what he was able to do or not do. The few spots mostly were spots not seen anyway and the one on the front was pin head size and unless looking for it, it would not have been noticeable. The dress was wonderfully pressed, and we were well pleased with the results overall. The price for all this hand labor was less than other dry cleaner I had called to run through a machine and be done in minutes. I am sure it took hours to hand clean the dress. SO, they get 5 stars from us for price, being timely, his honesty and the quality of work done. He had a hard job ahead off himself to do with this dress and was able to get all done, past our expectations. Thank you for the job done. read more
