I left about 8 items of clothing there on Friday, 6/13/2021, and advised lady who took the clothes that since so much of my Summer wardrobe was there, that it was very important that I get the dry cleaning back by no later than 1:00pm on the following Monday, 6/14/2021. She wrote that down on the ticket, said.."okay," and I left. Now, I was a Regular Customer who spent quiet a bit of money there, because as we all know, Dry Cleaning clothes is expensive. So, they had and always have had my cell number, but yet it occured to no one to USE the thing. I battled all the terrible lunch traffic all the way down Woodruff Rd(on my lunch hour at that,) to pick up my clothes. the young girl only charged me little over $30.00, when I knew the bill should be more like $60.00. (I told you I was a regular.) then she loaded some clothes into the car, and never said a word, like all was okay. After I pulled thru the drive-thru, I looked at the bill, which I could clearly see totaled over 60.00. I pulled BACK thru the drive-thru(still NO LUNCH and on 1 hour lunch, driving from other end of Woodruff Rd,) and explained that something was wrong. One regular girl there knew the way the other 3 young kids were acting was wrong, so she stayed out of it. After about another 10 minutes, they decided that someone should tell me that I only had 1/2 of my clothes, that the rest would be ready later on the same afternoon. I told them that kind of service(?) was totally unacceptable and what the lady on Friday had said AND written on the ticket, and that I did not not have every day at lunch to drive from one end of Woodruff to there on lunch hour, because they couldn't get it together. ONE phone call could have prevented that! Today, I had to return for the other 1/2 of my cleaning, and that's good, because I will not be back there. Incidentally, the Cleaning was taken to them on Friday A.M., Now, if they could not get it done by Monday at 1:00pm, telling me or a phone call to avoid two separate trips would have been nice. But, they don't have to worry about it anymore, because I won't be back. This is a great example of "unsupervised" younger people, as workers. I work in the Professional World, and would not have a job if this kind of thing occurred with Customers, especially regular Customers. read more
