The staff at Dad's Towing were extremely rude, condescending, and hostile. Treated me like a criminal while I was still nursing injuries from the crash. Nursing whiplash and bruises while talking to a lady who more or less refused to help me. Had to get a friend to take me to their tow yard to retrieve my vehicle to make sure they wouldn't add any more exorbitant charges or something else nefarious while I was supposed to be recovering from injuries. Short, snippy, accusatory, and overall extremely unpleasant. Been a long time since I've been treated with such abject disdain. Having someone crash into you and total your car is extremely stressful and Dad's Towing will make it even more stressful by treating you like scum. I will be making formal complaints to Metro PD for towing my car here and to anyone else I can think.

I called and asked about pricing. The cost (whether jump start or battery) was reasonable. Mr. Ayala said he'd pick up the battery on the way just in case - having gotten the information I had on hand for my make and model, and my equipment preference if it came to that. He also said that I wouldn't be charged for the battery if it wasn't needed - regardless of him making this outlay. As promised, he showed up about 45 minutes after our call - this is with him driving up to Baltimore. When he arrived, Mr. Ayala looked at the battery, said it was 2 years old, no corrosion - relatively young for the equipment. That it probably would be just a jump start (I had left the car sitting for too long). He then promptly walked me through the steps to jump it, while attaching the cords to the outlets. The car started. Then he had me turn it off without the cords attached to check that it still started, which it did. The service was $85. Perfectly reasonable. Convenient and timely, as well, and I found him to be pleasant and knowledgeable.

Each time I called, I was told the driver was "on the way" or "stuck in traffic." I stayed with my car until 6:00 PM, when I was told--yet again--the driver was just 20 minutes out. They never arrived. Customer service was dismissive and dishonest. Not once did anyone proactively call me with an update, and when I asked for information, I got vague responses clearly meant to stall. This company completely wasted my time and showed zero regard for basic professionalism or accountability. I scheduled this tow in advance and was met with four hours of silence, lies, and no service. I will never use them again and strongly recommend others avoid them as well.
