My plow person never showed up at any point during the storm we have had over the past few days and my landlord wouldn't return my calls. Almost 10 inches of snow and sleet and tonight it is supposed to all freeze over. I found NB Snowplowing on yelp, called and he was at my place within 45 minutes, clearing up my driveway. And he was even wonderful enough to shovel my walkway. If you are in the area, I would highly recommend NB Snowplowing and am going to recommend to my landlord that he switch his contracted service next year to them.

Charming, exceptional service, and just an overall gem. Even though it's the winter season - and thus only the main shop really contains plants or anything to purchase - the selection of plants was surprisingly diverse. I found a number of itty bitty plants that were on my wishlist, and they also happened to be the perfect size for me to snag a few extras to give as gifts to colleagues. Wonderful plant options at a fantastic value. (I also snagged the last "boobie cactus" - and yes, that's what it's usually called, lol - and now a couple of my colleagues are all excited about propagating from it.) It doesn't hurt that when I first arrived to the shop, I was adorably greeted by a gentle giant of a dog named Henry. I made sure to give Henry plenty of pets and face smooshies, and then he happily trotted off to the back office. The folks here genuinely care about their customers and providing an exceptional experience. I can't wait to visit again when the weather is a bit warmer and the grounds are opened up a bit more. :)

The trees and plants that were *supposed* to be there were overgrown, unhealthy, and we're even growing into the sidewalk so our neighbors were also impacted! Lyle and his team spent two days removing, spraying, trimming, pruning, yanking, cutting, and sweating to help get my yard not only as free as possible of invasive species, but looking quite nice! Of course when landscaping gets so neglected, the recovery process is going to be several seasons, but this is a great start. Lyle and Tom were extremely knowledgeable, educated me on the plants I have and how to maintain them myself as much as possible, were able to recommend native plants to replace some of the invasives with (other are just pests and need to go), and were communicative and up front about schedule, cost, and what was possible. I enjoy the fact that they are a smaller operation, and as a result of that can offer more personalized service, in my opinion. For the past 3 years running, they have provided regular lawn service, including mowing and weed whacking. They also helped adjust the mowing schedule to work around my lawn aeration and reseeding this past summer. Also they've done a couple of other specialized things for me, most recently including a tree removal. Fall of 2025, they offered snow removal in addition to the lawn service. Based on the weather so far this year, I've gotten lucky. They have been here multiple times, plowing my driveway in spite of some special needs. ( Curb stones, anyone?). I needed an emergency plow during one of the December snowstorms, when my mother was taking to the hospital. Joe literally was in my driveway less than 10 minutes after I called to make sure that I was able to get out and get to the hospital. Can't say enough good things. Is it the cheapest service in the area? No (with an asterisk*). It's a little bit more than what you pay a larger company, emphasis on the little, but in my opinion, I'm getting much more personalized service. For the fall / winter of 2025 2026, they've added plowing to their resume. It's the first year, so sometimes growing pains might be expected. With the heavier snowfall this year, more than once they've been to my residence multiple times in a single day to plow my driveway out. In short, I'm very very pleased with the job that they're doing, Sun or snow. (Apologies for any typos, large hands on a small cell phone keyboard, lol) A satisfied customer in Galeville
