Very kind considering nobody knew how long my car would be taking up space in their shop, slowly defrosting. Took a couple hours to defrost and they had to do a bit of problem solving; they also noticed a headlight was out and replaced that too per my request. We had been to 3 other places who did not have the size tire we needed for our Scat Pack Charger. The 3 places we checked even tried to find what we needed at a shop in a neighboring town. When they couldn't they recommended us to go here. The 2 guys at the front desk couldn't care less about helping us. They said they had 2 walk ins and didn't even bother trying to see if they had the tires in stock. It was 1:30pm. We left and went to a shop of similar size. We told him about this shop and he chuckled and said he has taken up to 20 walk ins before. Go figure. I'll leave a positive review for the other shops just for making an effort to help us. Coming from Vegas I could imagine that lack of effort, but a small town... very disappointing. I'd give my business to another shop.

We settled on a $300 refund so I could take the car elsewhere to finish the detail, along with updating this review to reflect how things were resolved. While I'm disappointed it took a bad review and a Facebook post to get to this point, I appreciate that they reached out to try and resolve the issue. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I really wanted to support a local business, but unfortunately my experience with Complete Automotive and Tires left me disappointed. I paid $640 for a full detail and expected a truly spotless vehicle for that price. The dollar amount isn't really the issue. It's that for $640, there shouldn't be obvious spots left dirty that any detail should have covered. I've added photos of the areas that were clearly missed: under the seats, between the seats, the door plastic, the roof liner, and the trunk. Partway through, they called to tell me all the pet hair wasn't going to be completely cleaned and that it would cost another $300 on top of the original $640 to finish the job. I declined, because in my mind a $500+ detail should already warrant a completely clean car. I asked if I could just pick it up that day, and they told me the detail wasn't done yet. Fair enough, but at that point I was already frustrated with both the price and where things stood. The next day I wasn't able to pick up the car myself, so I paid remotely without looking it over first (that one's on me) and had my dad and sister grab it. When I finally saw the car, I was genuinely upset and tried to bring it back to show them the spots that were missed. The owner flat-out refused to come out and even look at it, which honestly made the whole thing worse. For $640, the quality just wasn't close to what anyone should expect and the refusal to even look at the issues sealed it for me. Truly disappointed. I'd think twice before bringing your vehicle here.

From my very first phone call, I was treated with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. As a solo female traveler, I immediately felt safe, looked after, and respected. They didn't just do their job--they took responsibility for helping me find a real solution. What would have taken three weeks to fix with a factory-ordered part, they resolved with a creative, high-quality, and safe alternative, and at a very fair and honest price. Let me start off by saying, I am a young woman and people try to take advantage of my naive looking face but larry and michelle didnt, even when it wouldve been so easy to. I strolled up to the shop at the end of the evening and Larry took time to diagnose my problem, quote me and even help me find a place to stay the night, all for free. It took 3 days just to fix the problem, and he managed to find me a new transmission in the next town over, while Michelle worked hard to deal with my sh*tty warranty company. To make a long story short, they fixed my problem AND managed to get the company to cover it, even though it was a tough battle! I am new to the whole truck-owner thing, and I felt very well taken care of. He explained everything in detail and he really knew his stuff. (He took the truck for a diagnostic run and knew the problem 500 feet from the shop). He was very thorough with the work and you can just tell he is a great guy, and very hard working. What was great is that being stranded in a remote place like this, they really helped us not just with the car, but surviving there for days. And here is something you dont find with most mechanics: at the end of such an awful and stressful ordeal, we still keep in touch like ol' friends. Within a couple of hours, they had diagnosed the issue with the air conditioner and provided me with a couple of options along with detailed quotes. Aaron even went the extra mile and spoke directly with my regular mechanic in Omaha to ensure we were all on the same page. Unfortunately, the necessary compressor wouldn't arrive until the next day, so they kept the car overnight and got to work first thing the next morning. When the AC still wasn't performing at 100%, they pulled everything apart again, installed a better-quality compressor, and reassembled everything--ultimately getting the AC to work perfectly. I primarily worked with Aaron throughout the process, and he went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right and that I was completely satisfied. If you're looking for a shop that feels like a spa and offers complimentary lattes while you wait, this might not be your place. But if you value honest, hardworking people in a family-run business who are committed to getting the job done right, you'll be in good hands here.
