I tried the Louisiana Cajun Chicken Pasta this evening which featured Cajun grilled chicken breast over cavatappi pasta in a moderately spicy New Orleans style bell pepper and Parmesan cream sauce. The flavors were bold, creamy, and perfectly balanced. As always, the service was top notch. Cassi, my server at the bar, was personable, attentive, and made the evening even better with her friendly professionalism. A few minutes after I ate my pie, my tenderloin came out. How was that? Pretty tasty! The tenderloin is ridiculously larger than the bun. I cut mine in half and stacked it. It was a bit dry (my fault for not adding mustard or something else) but it was good! Super fresh, piping hot, fried perfectly. A good sandwich! And the best part, only $10.00. It's your typical small town bar and grill, but the food is above average for the type of establishment, the customer service was excellent, and the portions are large for an extremely fair price. I was looking for healthy-ish fare and ordered a chicken quesadilla with crinkle fries. The food was fresh, and the chicken meat in the quesadilla was good quality. In addition to the food, the bar owner and staff were extremely happy to see new faces in town. They were extremely kind and accommodating. The other locals were friendly and asked us about our journey. This is truly the best small town America has to offer. Note that this is a bar and grill - not a diner - so it has a bar atmosphere. They also allow smoking inside, but not many people were smoking so it was not bothersome to us.
