If I could give zero stars, I would…read more My Kawasaki Ninja 650 has been at Jim Trenary Motorsports for about two months, and the entire experience has been frustrating from start to finish. Communication is terrible. I was told on at least 15 different occasions that someone would call me back, and I only received one callback--and that's because I kept calling them repeatedly. The biggest issue was the diagnosis. It took them about three and a half weeks just to diagnose the bike. Their Kawasaki technicians couldn't figure out the problem, even though I told them from the beginning that it was likely a welded gear caused by overheating, which is a known issue on Ninja 650s. Instead, they diagnosed it as a clutch plate issue and ordered parts for that repair. After waiting over a month and a half for the repair, they put everything back together and the bike had the exact same problem. The original diagnosis was wrong, and the bike had to be torn back down to address the actual issue. Adding to the delays, after the parts for the first repair had already been delivered to the dealership, I was informed that they had been misplaced in the parts department. From what I was told, a newer employee accidentally misplaced them. I understand that mistakes happen, but it still resulted in additional delays to a process that was already taking far too long at that point. What frustrated me even more was that after the correct parts arrived and my bike was waiting to be reassembled, I was told the technician had started working on a different project and would not be able to get back to my bike until the following week. After my bike had already been sitting there for nearly two months, I found it hard to understand why a newly arrived project was being worked on before a customer who had already been waiting that long. Even after the second repair was completed, I still wasn't contacted. I had to call them myself to get an update. During that call, I was told the bike was back together and only needed a test ride before pickup. I was then told it should be ready sometime that week. Overall, the communication, diagnosis, turnaround time, and customer service were extremely disappointing. I spent weeks waiting for callbacks that never came, dealt with a misdiagnosis that could have been avoided, experienced delays caused by misplaced parts, and repeatedly had to call for updates myself. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Jim Trenary Motorsports.

For this to be a private business the owner is very arrogant and rude in how he talks to people in general. Very bad communication all together I can see why this business only has 2.5 stars. I have heard worse from previous customers as well and wil not be using them ever again.

Vernon and Petroff was the towing company Prime said would give me the best rate. As an owner-op, I try to get the best deal on service calls. The deer ended up disconnecting my air dryer hose and the truck was leaking air. I stopped driving at 23:24 and I started driving again at 01:03 per my logs. The tech showed up and quickly reconnected the hose. I'd say he probably had the issue fixed in half an hour or less. From the time the call was placed to the time the tech arrived was probably an hour. I understand Petroff sent the heavy wrecker to my location but they're charging me $1000 for half an hour of labor to reconnect a hose. I had my Freightliner Cascadia towed from Green River WY to Salt Lake City in the middle of winter, roughly 115 miles, and the total tow bill was less than $1500. $1000 to reconnect a hose seems excessive to me, specially when the going rate for other heavy duty towing companies in the area is about $200 p/h. I'm a small business owner and every dollar I make is fought for and I'm not okay with getting overcharged. Petroff gets a ton of business from Prime INC drivers, which are mostly owner-ops, and I'll do my part so my fellow Prime drivers will not be overcharged either.

I specifically asked him 2 times who he was and each time he replied he was an employee. Ed attempted to strong arm me into using Petroff's to haul away a stuck excavator. When Ed did not get his way he called various city offices claiming issues in an attempt to create false alarms so the city would force me to use his services, or so the city would be forced to use his services and then bill me. When that did not work he sent his family member on to my property to harass my workers by threatening, cursing, slurring me, and refusing to move their SUV. We had to contact the police in order for his family member to move their vehicle. This company appears to use deceptive practices. I recommend no one do business with this company. I provided my feedback to the City of St. Louis.
