I managed to get ahold of them as they were closing, and they still came out and told me they would get my car, drop it off anywhere I wanted, and then take me to any hotel I wanted. They picked me and the car up in the middle of a dust storm and let me know they'd found a place that would stay open late to take a look at my car so that I could get home that night - and again, if it wasn't something that could be that night, I could call and they would take me to a hotel. Tow trucks I've dealt with in the past have mostly treated me and my situation as an inconvenience - as if the $300 I'm paying for 20 minutes of labor and an 11 mile drive is putting them out --- these guys were the complete opposite of that. While I hope to never have to call them again, this was as close to a good experience as you could get in this situation. :)

I called my roadside assistance right away, and they spent hours trying to get somebody to help me. I think that they started close and then started expanding the radius. Nobody wanted to come out with a flatbed since I was way out in the middle of nowhere. I wish they had called Jim Braley with Ashurst Towing first. He was the only operator who even bothered to get in touch with me, the other ones were just no shows without even telling me they weren't coming. He told me he was coming and sure enough he was there right when he said he would be. He spent a whole lot of extra time getting my motorhome onto the flatbed so that it wouldn't get damaged further. He was so professional and friendly, and what a fun sense of humor. Highly recommended! In a day and age where people don't want to work, he was willing to drive all the way from El Centro to the middle of nowhere to help somebody in need. He towed me right to the tire store. We were stuck near the Imperial Sand Dunes lookout and Camel Towing was a literally life saver!…read more Nowhere near any place we could walk to, and in the 100 degree heat with a car we couldn't drive was awful and stressful. We called multiple towing companies nearby and none would or were able to help tow an electric car. We called Camel Towing and they immediately were willing to help and said they'd be there in an hour and 15 minutes. They came quite literally in that time window and Mando was so friendly and great and put us at ease. He took us back into town 40 minutes away to a charging station and told us a lot of interesting facts about the area and the sand dunes and made the process and enjoyable as it can be. Even made sure we could stop at a gas station to get water or snacks if we needed since we were stranded for the better part of a day. So thankful for these guys! If you have any trouble in the Sand Dunes area they are for sure one of the best options!

Some towing companies wanted to make me wait until the morning because of how late it was. He got us back in the road in no time. He dropped us off at a hotel and fixed my bad alternator & all the next morning to get back on the road to our destination. I give them 5 stars all they way!
