They do have a lot of variety of goods (however buy what you need at the time, as they never can tell you if they are getting more of the same coming in). So the stock seems to be random, and with such few stores in Scotland, it's not easy to get your item from another store.
Also, I so think the customer care needs looked at. I was in the other day and two elderly and reasonably infirm ladies were trying to lift garden chairs into a trolley. There was no assistants to be seen as usual (they seem to be told to just stock shelves), and when I did manage to get someone she looked lost as to what to do. Definitely gave the impression that it wasn't her job.
I don't mean to get on to the assistants though as I imagine their pay + conditions are not very good as they don't look very happy. Senior management would do well to value their staff as the effect on sales would increase even further, eg Poundland staff always seem friendly and there are queues right out the doors. Nb. Opening times should be online, particularly at holidays, as currently its just on the door. read more
