Ok, so this review starts about 4 weeks ago when R&W came while we were out of town. They came,…read morethey ripped out the blacktop, and they left. The fiber for our internet was buried within inches of the edge of our old driveway, but while it did get exposed in the process, even my ISP said "WOW, who is doing this job? Because they are REALLY careful". Add to that there was ZERO mess and everything was perfectly trimmed. Fast forward to this afternoon. They came, about 10 of them, and same thing, there was not a single black footprint, they had mats to protect the sidewalk, cleaned things up, texted early that they were running about an hour behind and the 100+ foot driveway was completely redone. I would totally recommend calling and chatting with Mike Corvelli or any of the staff at R&W for your paving needs.

I have no respect for people who don't even have enough respect for their own business to represent it professionally. Why would I ever bother entertaining the idea of doing business with someone who does not put any careful consideration into something as basic as driving; something as simple as being mindful of your own surroundings. Doesn't really give me any faith that they'd be at all mindful of doing the job right.

Got numerous quotes from curbing companies to have curb put in - roughly 220' early spring…read more Decided to go with Curb Magic knowing history of company and trying to support the business. Was not the best presentation as far as sales, brochure was poor quality, etc. but pricing was good. Told the owner we really needed to be one of the earlier installs as we were working toward a deadline of mid May. The three other curbing companies we had gotten quotes from had already started installing in April and stated it wouldn't be a problem. Curb Magic hadn't even started their installs or scheduling yet as of early April - didn't even start doing quotes until mid April, but stated it shouldn't be a problem if we committed soon to be one of the first installs. Called their office two days later to accept the proposal for work and told Holly that we really needed the job done by May 15th and were told this shouldn't be a problem and she would notate that for when they started scheduling the jobs. Obviously, we completely understand weather can affect this, there may be other people ahead of us, issues arise, etc., but based on the conversation with the owner Adam it shouldn't be an issue and she would notate in the books we were in a "rush". Call on April 25th looking to see if they are putting their schedule together yet as my husband wants to coordinate other landscaping contractors accordingly and Holly states that they can't guarantee they will get it done by mid-May, she has zero clue when we will be scheduled at the moment, and she will call me when they are ready to schedule me. I asked her what this meant - early May? End of May? Mid June? July?? She could give me zero idea of when she would schedule us...I understand how seasonal contractors work and that they certainly can't give you an exact date due to weather, etc., but no time frame what so ever?? Even saying "late May" would be better than saying "when I call you"...I told Holly this is not what she stated to me when I decided to go with their proposal and that in essence I had wasted almost 2 weeks thinking I was going to get my curb installed by mid May and could have went with another company. Holly says "well maybe that is what you should do if you are in a hurry..." Who tells a customer spending $2,000.00 that? As a business owner myself, operating a business in such a manner is business suicide. If the quality of their curb is anything how they run the back end of their business, this may have been a blessing in disguise. Ultimately, we ended up doing what Holly recommended - going with another option - although more expensive, it may be true you get what you pay for! We are now booked with a company who gave us a general idea of what week we are looking at in May. Best of luck Curb Magic!
