The gentleman at the desk went and got an employee to check the codes. We didn't wait any length of time at all. Then when we went out with the technician checking the codes, Mr. Mills came out. We chatted for a few minutes and he asked the technician checking the codes a few questions. So, our car was ok and he didn't charge anything for taking the time to check the codes and give us advice. I told him that if we were to live here, we would definitely be a customer.

It felt like it was purely about marking up the parts themselves rather than any real concern. For something as basic and straightforward as plugs and coils, this rule is ridiculous and frustrating. Ended up doing it myself. If you're capable of handling a basic tune-up yourself and just want to pay for labor to save time, this isn't the place their inflexible policy will waste your time instead.
