There is a Keurig there for coffee. I didn't wait long, and it cost $102, which seems high to me for an oil change basically, but people tell me that's how much an oil change costs now. I was there for an hour. The staff was pleasant, knowledgeable, and didn't try to sell me anything else (which I appreciate).

The owner told me I'd have to get new rotors and brake pads before he could give me a sticker. It was going to cost me $800 parts & labor. I said I'd take elsewhere. I took it to Nichol's Hometown Service where they checked the brakes and said they were fine. Gave me sticker and told me that rusty rotors is not a valid reason to deny an inspection sticker (rotors are made of cast iron and rust is normal). by the way, as I was leaving Madenford Springs & Auto I heard Glenn, the owner, trying the rusty rotor scam on someone else. In addition as Glenn P he's given his shop a glowing review.

When I called the gentleman said we spoke to the call center and not his shop. I explained to him I didn't talk to anybody. It was all done and verified by Amazon in your call center. Clearly the reason I got bumped was because I did not buy the tires from Monroe, I will never get service at one of these shops again.

I had an appointment at a better garage but Mancuso's told me they could do it 4 days earlier. Instead, it took them just as long and they did not call me when it was finished. I only found that the car was ready to be picked up when I called them to check the status the following day. They suggested replacing both lines but were able to repair the rupture so I requested the latter. When I left, I found that they had drilled a self-threading bolt straight into my front, passenger side tire only after stopping to pump my tires when the pressure light came on. Bolts flip on their sides when run over where nails puncture tires and there were socket friction marks around the bolt on the rubber, suggesting that the puncture was deliberate. Kevin was the name of the mechanic that handled my vehicle and likely the mechanic responsible for the bolt. Completely uncommunicative and intent on nickel-and-diming their costumers. I would suggest Pompender's or Dunn instead.

After I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (ID 10849392), he did not take any personal responsibility, made inappropriate comments and not surprisingly, did not agree to refund any part of what he charged.
