I am beyond grateful that I came across an ad for Kev's One Man Show. Kevin Moran, the owner, quoted a reasonable price for various home improvement projects and a much-needed house painting job. He stayed in contact with me every step of the way and kept every promise made. Kevin used quality paints and truly cared about my home. Kevin has an awesome carpenter named Frenchie Morin that works for him. All the window repair work, PVC trim work, shed repair, condenser cover build, and everything Frenchie made is sturdy and beautifully finished! When I queried on Yelp, he replied immediately, set up a meeting to estimate the job and was very thorough in his review of my unit. I was tired and frustrated by other contractors who were unwilling or perhaps unable to work with my insurance. Emmanuel conformed his quotation to the insurer's requirements allowing a speedy approval after a long frustrating process trying to work with others. He and his crew arrived at 7 AM and worked steadily until 7 PM each day to complete their work. The quality of their work is exceptional. I cannot express how pleased I am with the repairs. In March a good friend of mine called me up and said that he found a good painter for me for the…read moreright price. He also recommended that I would do it right away. I called Josh and talked to him about my house that is huge and old; as I told him, I needed to repair the windows before the paint job could be completed. Josh said that he knew a carpenter who could do the windows and would paint the house after the repairs were done. As it turned out, I needed to get 27 windows fixed. So I had a bargain, a good carpenter who was ready to go up three stories to get my windows on the top floor and a painter who was going to paint my three-decker. Eventually, J&J came after all the repairs were completed and painted my house in 10 days. They were extremely efficient, professional, and pleasant to deal with. They answered my concerns by scraping, sanding, and caulking all surfaces. They used primer and good paint. Some of my neighbors came over to Josh to ask him whether he could paint their houses too. There was no drama, no mess. They told me in advance to inform other residents not to use the common area for a day or two. I definitely hope to hire them for inside jobs and recommend them for outside painting.
