The goal was to get a high quality door and modern opener that would operate with zero issues, insulate the garage and basement from winter and summer extremes, and allow for remote operation via remote or internet. We immediately eliminated the big box stores as we targeted owner operated companies with good reputations and high quality products. After quoting and discussing door replacement with four companies we chose Revamp based on responsiveness, range + quality of doors and openers, reputation, and the straightforward, honest and knowledgeable owner - Charles Anderson. Charles asked detailed questions about what we wanted and what was most important. He also took the time to do a thorough examination of the existing structure and went over his recommendations for correcting the existing structure to properly install the door while improving the appearance and providing a slightly wider opening. The written quote listed all products, steps and costs including labor with an estimate of the lumber and trim that would be required to correct all issues. Charles kept us up to date on the schedule as the install date approached so we were never in the dark on the installation date. Installation was performed on the dates promised by Charles and Csaba and receipts for lumber and trim required to reframe were given to us for reimbursement at costs as agreed. These are hard working craftsmen that are rare in our experience. Needless to say, the installation is flawless, they left the garage and area cleaner than when they arrived, and the transformation is more than we hoped for. I have attached photos of the before and after - please note the multiple canoe framing and trim on the left side of the old door vs the clean and even look of the new framing. Also -what appears to be smudges on the door is rain / dirt on my phone - the door is spotless. If you need a simple door replacement or a complete makeover, we would absolutely recommend Revamp if you care about quality product, excellent customer service, and no BS honesty from your supplier.

Resnick Garage Doors installed a new garage door for me in April of this year. Immediately upon…read moreinstall I was not able to get the MyQ app to work with the door. I thought I would be able to do it on my own, but after having issues, I called Resnick to come out. Someone did, but he said he wasn't familiar with the MyQ functionality as it was new. While he was here, "I" figured it out. Unfortunately, it has since stopped working without me touching anything or touching the router. The router is directly above the garage door. I've rebooted the router a few times. Has not resolved the issue. I also have been unable to connect my vehicle's garage door button to the garage door. Resnick told me that was for Lexus to resolve. Lexus did not resolve because they aren't coming to my home to troubleshoot. I called HomeLink and they walked me through some steps beyond the normal steps and the button started to work, but only when the vehicle is 'in' the garage. My 30year old door worked fine with my vehicle and I didn't need the MyQ features. The MyQ functionality came with what I purchased and that's the only reason I am using it. I only bought a new door to be proactive...... before the original door started to have problems. I've had more problems with this expensive door than my 30 year old one. I'm sorry I bought the door. I'm very disappointed in the lack of support I received from Resnick to resolve my issues.
