This is the worst dry cleaner in America. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. We're new to the area and this was our first--and last--visit. Our order came back with several shirts that weren't ours and three of mine missing. When we returned the incorrect items, they still didn't have my shirts and refused to take any responsibility. I've been going there for a few years and while their drycleaning has been passable, they ruined 3 new pairs of new Levi jeans, and would not honor it. I asked for an original hem, as you would with a regular pair of jeans. What they gave me was a goofy two sided cuff where it was hemmed outside and inside with a cuff. They offered to reduce the price from $25/pair for the tailoring to $20/pair, but who would want to walk around with jeans that looked like that so even free it ruined 3 new pair of jeans. I originally thought the jeans were inside out as that is what it looked like They looked goofy and then argued with me that is what I asked for and that was an original hem. I tried to show them Levi's website and ask them show me a single pair of jeans where the hem was inside out like that. They said they could not fix them. And since I could not wear them like that. So they took them back and now I'm out 3 new pairs of jeans. I asked them who is going to pay for 3 new pairs of jeans which cost me over $70 each.. and they shugged, and did not seem to care. Spend your money elsewhere. I'll never be back. Their drycleaning has been marginal at best and I have had a number of shirts that did not get cleaned but instead got damaged with broken buttons, frayed collars... This was the last straw and this is not how you treat clients. read more

OMG! I will never again step into that store! I went as a first time client - I had a super light summer skirt just to be cut shorter and hemmed. The guy was barely speaking / understanding English , close to zero. It's like nothing! After going back and forth, I wanted to make sure he understood how much to cut. He then asked me to pay $32!!!!!! I had bought that dress for $8 and was okay to pay for tailoring another $10-15. He asked for $32! What for?!!! Really!? I simply took my skirt back and headed to the exit door, I said "no, thank you", when he rudely said "okay!". Speechless! read more

There are about 20 different cleaner within 5 miles of my house (ok, maybe that's a BIT of an exaggeration, but you get my point) and the SOLE reason I originally chose B & V was that I pass by the place every workday. That was 7 years ago and I have never needed to go anywhere else. Most of my cleaning is normal wash and press of shirts and pants (and my wife's blouses and pants/skirts)- very little dry cleaning, but when I need it, it's there. 7 years-no complaints...and when I've needed it, they've done same day service. Service is always with a smile-and when I dropped off this morning and got my regular smile...I figured it was time for a Yelp. Why only 3 stars? I don't know what a cleaning place would have to do to get 4-5 stars, but it would need to be pretty spectacular. I'm bringing a carpet in for cleaning soon-if they hit a home run-I'll re-review with another star! read more

I went to this dry cleaner for the first time in February, a middle-aged husband wife own this place. I had my scrub pants hemmed on the bottom with a cut, I brought two more pants in to get hemmed with the cut as she did in February, she was charging me $20 per pant for that, back in February she had only charged me $14 she said for me to bring in the pant that was done initially to see if it was a pant she had in the system (thinking I was lying), which I did, she still wanted to sit there and argue with me for $6, well $12 for both pants. The in-store tailor was available right away and had my gown ready within the next business day. Out of two dresses, this Dry Cleaner has destroyed my brand new woolen scarf bought in India for about $200. The scarf / Shawl has shrunk about 20% in size as they have either washed in water or used a bad cheap chemical which had lot of water contents. Secondly, they even did not press the cloth. It is now unusable and has become a piece of garbage When complained, they in their broken English, very rudely, deny everything and even rejected our demand to at least 'press' it to straighten. We have been there customer since 2/3 years now. Most importantly, we have seen them drying clothes in open on a string on the side of their building in space which is a little lower in elevation. Went here because it's on my way to work. They were doing a fine, not great, job on my husbands shirts and some of my basics. However, when I brought in anything difficult like a shirt with food splatter or deodorant stains, they did a terrible job. I would always have to ask them to redo those items and they were somewhat rude (much like others have mentioned). Then they ruined one of my silk blouses, but I let it go because it did have a stain where I spilled some liquid and they claimed that there was no other way to clean it out. The final straw was when they ruined the second, very expensive silk blouse, this time by putting tape all over it (to mark the spots) and somehow the adhesive left square blotches all over the blouse. They denied doing it, but it was so obviously dry cleaning tape marks. They refused to fix it or pay for it. That is the last time I will ever go there and I would warn others not to risk nice clothes with them. read more

I have to get the word out to share my experience with this business. I brought my daughter's prom dress in to get hemmed and cleaned because there was a spot on it when I purchased it. While my daughter had the dress on at the cleaners to measure how much we need to hem we also searched and searched for the small mark. The owner then marked it so they could try and get it out. Fast forward ... 2 days before the prom I pick up the dress. The owner says we couldn't get the spot out. I said no worries, paid the $45 and went on my way. When I arrived home my daughter tried on the dress. We were shocked ... right in the center of the dress was a 3" x 3" stain and we noticed the exact same stain was on the back of the dress as well. This dress was unwearable. I took it immediately back and asked them to fix it. The owner rudely stated that the stain was there before hand. We argued and I showed her pictures of the dress from before the cleaning without a large stain. She snatched the dress from me and told me to come back the next day. So I did. Keep in mind it is now 24 hours prior to the prom and if this dress still had the stains we would have to run out to find a new one. I walked in and met with a man. The owner would not come out from the back of the store. He handed me the dress. The dress is now partially hanging on the hanger. Not a metal hanger, but a plastic hanger from a department store. The plastic bag covering the dress is obviously used as it is wrinkled and has holes in it. I remove the plastic from the dress and notice that the dress is now very wrinkled. They did not dry clean it. They spot treated the stains only. Yes the stains are barely there and the dress can be worn but a Cleaners should not be allowing a dress to leave their store in this condition. The man then says, "next time we will get it all out!" What does that mean??? They should have apologized or accepted responsibility. Lets just say, I did give them a dress with two large stains, then why did they not clean it correctly the first time?? This is a horribly run business. There are plenty of others to choose from in the area. Stay away if you don't want your clothes ruined. read more

HORRIBLE!!! They destroyed a silk shirt of mine and then, when I pointed it out, they said I dropped it off that way. I had been going to them for YEARS and this is the one time that I complained or said something was wrong. He actually got angry with me and then said he would reimburse me the $5.50 (cost to clean it). I told him to keep his money becuase he just lost a customer. Unbelievable.
