I've never gone to a dry cleaners where the entire staff knows your name and as soon as you walk in the door they treat you like a friend - and this happened within my second visit. Love it here and have been coming for years. I also want to mention that there has been a few rare times when a shirt button has come back cracked and a few other minor things that go along with dry cleaning, but they always have done the right thing and rectify the issue. Reviews are wrong! I'd heard good things about these cleaners and brought a comforter in to be cleaned. When I came to collect the comforter, I was given someone else's comforter and had to bring it back to get my own. Once I got it home, I realized that it had never been cleaned so I had to bring it back again to have it cleaned. When I picked it up, it had been cleaned well enough, but there were still spots that I had hoped would have been cleaned out, and I would've expected it to have looked nicer and not be as wrinkled as it was. I called and spoke with them about getting a credit for the poor service and the multiple times I had to come back and was told that no, they cleaned the comforter four times And would not give me my money back. I had been going to this cleaners for years and had a great relationship with them. Last month I picked up a shirt and it was returned multiple holes in it. When I pointed it out, I was told the shirt was old and had been cleaned approx. 15 times. Therefore, it was not their fault and I would receive no compensation. The shirt was high quality and only about a year old. After spending so much money there over the years, I felt like should have provided some compensation, or at least an apology for damaging the shirt. I was simply told it was not their fault. I have since switched cleaners to the business right down the road. Overall, disappointed with how this situation was handled. read more

Very friendly staff at Green Village Cleaners took care of a blazer for me, it was clean & ready on time. Huge new place, they even have a machine that will accept and return your clothes when the store is closed, the engineer in me really wants to try it. Park in back or on the street. Tried pretty much everyone else in town. Tailoring is objectively better than everyone else in town but where they really shine is service. I recently dropped off a suit for cleaning. The jacket was missing a button. I didn't mention it as I planned to sew the button on myself. I took the suit home to do the repair and realized the button had been replaced. 'Nuff said. read more

If a business can't tell you prices upfront, I wouldn't trust that business. Their prices are already high, but they can charge you any surprise amount when you come back to pick up your garment. I'm fine with paying a higher dollar amount for a quality service, but I'm not okay with getting an astronomical bill and being forced to pay. If they get their act together and start charging fixed prices, then I may consider going. read more

I've had a good working relationship with them in the past. When they put a 7.00 bill before a customer relationship, it's time to go. I asked for (machine wash)pants to be hemmed, not hemmed and cleaned. When I addressed, they said I had to be clear and say no clean. Worst dry cleaner experience in my life. They put two cigarette burns in front of my wife's dress and accused us of putting them there, even though we have never smoked. No compensation for the damage to the garment. No pricing when you bring in your clothes, but older woman Eunice said it would be 4.95 per garment and $12 for her dress. When I came back to pick up the cleaning it was 21.50 for my wife's suit and $14 for a regular dress. Had to call the police, will see you in court. read more

When they first opened, I thought I died and went to dry cleaning heaven. For only 20 dollars one can sign up for a door key and pick up/drop off clothes in the machine in the lobby 24/7. It did not matter that their prices seemed 10-15% higher than at other cleaners, plus they did a good job with my husband's shirts. Grace -- who unfortunately no longer works there -- was amazing: she always called when she had questions about the type of service I wanted if they received a delicate or unusual garment. She was also a native speaker so working out problems with her was a breeze. So I patiently dealt with the said machines not working properly for the longest time, the front door sometimes not opening despite the door pass, the dispenser getting stuck and not dispensing the full order, my sweater being shrunk and then stretched back to size only to shrink again after one wear... Today I picked up my (ladies) shirts and discovered that they were dry cleaned, not laundered, the job was badly done, and I was charged $7.50 per shirt. During my discussion with the front desk lady I learned that it was my job to know a lot about laundry business such as that machines are made to iron men's size shirts and therefore they cannot iron ladies size shirts any better. My comment that at other places for $7.50 a shirt is ironed by hand was met with an eye roll. Eventually they brought the price down to the price of men's shirt laundry... It was really painful to have this conversation because no one at the store is a native speaker, sometimes it is hard to figure out what they are saying, and other items they don't rally get what the customer is saying... Although I ended up getting what I wanted price-wise, the conversation left a sour taste in my mouth.
