Bonnie, Eric, and Susan asked thoughtful questions about our son to match him with the best tutor available. To say they succeeded would be an understatement. Natalie worked with Trey on his executive functioning skills, patiently showed him different ways of doing things, and supported him until his grades soared and he no longer needed help with Lit. In 10th grade, Geometry and Science challenged him, so we reached out to BCG for help in those subjects. Once again, they exceeded our expectations. Gerald, his Science tutor, teaches the same class in a nearby county and presents information differently than my son's teacher, works through several exercises to make sure our son understands the material, and makes suggestions of what he can do to stay on track until his next weekly session. Dan, our son's Geometry tutor, might be an angel in disguise. Thanks to his guidance and explanations, our son excitedly refreshes his Infinite Campus app to see how well he did on quizzes and tests instead of dreading the grades being posted. (Truly, he's excited to check his grades; what teen gets excited about anything other than sleeping in!?) We're incredibly grateful to have found BCG and know that, if our son needs tutoring in other subjects, BCG will find the right tutor who understands how our son learns and help him succeed in his classes.

The trio who performed for our event from…read morethe Celtic Company were absolutely perfect! * John communicated expectations and answered all of my questions weeks before the event to ensure that everything would run smoothly. * The trio arrived well before the event so that they could assess the venue, set up their equipment, and perform a sound check. * The instruments that were played set the perfect ambiance for our Celtic-themed event. The trio can play flute, fiddle, keyboard, various Celtic-style hand drums, tambourines, and more! * The group asked me what type of musical experience I wanted for the event. We agreed that most of the evening would be traditional background-style music, with a few planned songs that would engage more with the guests. Part of the package that we booked with the Celtic Company were 2 Irish step dancers. The Celtic Company coordinated all of those arrangements (how many dancers, how many dance sequences, etc.) and just let me know the additional cost. The 2 dancers who performed were also amazing - dressed in matching, themed outfits, excellent skills, and wonderful smiles. At the end of the event the dancers posed for photographs with our guests. * The group allowed us to use their microphones for announcements and speeches. The Celtic Trio provided a top tier performance and were just generally a wonderful group to work with. 10/10 would recommend!

But on to our 26th anniversary Scratch Out Loud DJ lessons date. The partner and operator of the venue was extremely knowledgeable, welcoming and engaging to us about the craft of DJing. I enjoyed the breakdown and history of vinyl because I'm one of those nerds that love learning a little bit about a lot of things. The ambiance of the studio was like entering into my era of house music, dimly lit basements and lots of crates, boom boxes and vinyls. There was a fully stocked refreshment bar set up to boot. The hands on experience we received was worth the money. The incentive monetary details to return for formal lessons was a plus as well. My husband and I had so much fun selecting various forms of vinyl to create our own mix music sessions. We each got to set up at individual turn tables and have a good old time with non-battling with our selection of songs. If you're looking for something engaging, educational, entertaining as well as a great brain game (middle age necessity) and you love music this is the thing to do!
