However, I no longer had family in the area and started using Donna, owner of Best of Buddies Pet Care. Donna has a wealth of knowledge, education and experience with cats and their sensitivities...and demonstrates her interest in maintaining your pet's wellbeing while you're away by the questions she asks, meets with your pet, wants to know all about her daily routine to provide the best service she can to make you and your pet happy. Initially, she asked for a Meet & Greet which she spent over an hour getting to know your cat, getting a copy of her rabies paperwork, had a packet of paperwork for me to complete with excellent questions and what to do and where to go for an emergency situation. I had Donna come to my home twice a day several times while I was out of town and she will come to your home as many times a day as your situation may require, not just to feed and clean a litter box, but to play, pat, brush and soothe your pet. I can't say enough! Donna is the best! Donna doesn't just feed the cat and leave (like my family members would do), she spent time with my baby and gave her affection while I was away, which is so important. One of my favorite things to do when I get home from being out of town is to read Donna's daily log/report. I got a kick out of some of the things my cat was doing while I was away and was very happy to read what Donna did while she was there. I really loved Donna's professionalism. Donna is very reliable and trustworthy too. Donna is also bonded, licensed, able to perform pet CPR among other credentials. I had no hesitation to schedule with Donna after the first time knowing that my baby will enjoy her visit in my absence and it's a huge stress reliever. I was able to enjoy my trip knowing my kitty would be well cared for. Donna always emails me a day or two before I leave for my trip to confirm when she will be coming. The people who operate this family owned business are both extremely professional and very down to earth. To start, the owners came to our house for a free consultation to meet us and meet our cat, to establish a level of comfort and make sure all the logistics would be fine. We really appreciated the time they took to come meet our pet and us before the first visit. We loved the fact that upon each home visit, we got a personalized e-mail as well as a picture of our little guy! It gave us a great level of comfort that not only was our cat getting what he needed but that the people looking after him actually cared. When we returned, our pet area was cleaner than when we left and we could tell that great care was taken with our pet and with our home. We don't have a good frame of reference for pricing for pet services but we thought the cost of the pet visit was a steal to begin with and then when we saw the high level of service, we could not have been more satisfied. Finally we were impressed with HSH's credentials, they have a long list of referrals and are fully insured / bonded etc. For such a small family owned company the service was really first class. We know HSH would be perfect for your pet care needs. We did not use them for pet supplies but they also have an online pet store (I think they might deliver for free if you have in-house pet services) which could be convenient.

Andrea let Lola take separate space and kept her and the other dogs apart while Lola adjusted to being there.
